*Sitting at the main gazebo waiting for his sister Helena and brother-in-law Gintoki to begin the much anticipated speech. He realizes that there isn’t a rush but he’s eager to hear what they have to say. His eyes scan everyone who enters and he smiles genly at family and friends, greeting them with kindness.*

*Helena and Gintoki arrive at home, they sit in the main gazebo and watch as family and clan members arrive. They wait for more to make their way home so that they may start a special discussion that will address certain things that may have been on all their minds and how to move forward. They would smile as the atmosphere at home was festive and comfortable. And everyone seemed to be under the impression this meeting was for a discussion so it wouldn’t be a big surprise but rather they were anticipating the conversation. *He finds Rika at the estate and sits next to her. He’s loving the family gathering and the vibe they all bring. He leans over to see Gintoki and Helena arrive and sit at the main gazebo.* @snipersugarspirit

Gintoki stands before the clan, scratching the back of his head with that lazy grin of his, silver hair catching the glow of sun as he stands in front of the gazebo to address everyone. His red eyes glance over every familiar face—family, friends, all the GrandSugarClan gathered together. For once, he isn’t late, and for once, he isn’t pretending not to care.
“Oi, look at this… all of you actually showed up. Didn’t think the promise of stale tea and my ugly mug would get you here, but here we are. Guess miracles still happen, huh?” He chuckles softly, but his tone carries warmth.
“I mean it. It’s good—no, it’s damn good—to see you all here together. I’m grateful… even if my face doesn’t look like it.”He lets a moment linger before continuing, his voice quieter, reflective.
“Life is basically like a soap bubble. It rides on the wind, flying here and there, … And before you realize it, pop! It’s gone.”
He pauses, eyes narrowing slightly as if chasing a memory before it vanishes.
“Doesn’t matter if you’re human, demon, angel, or whatever cocktail of chaos some of us are. Even immortals lose things. Maybe not their own lives, but friends, loves, moments… everything we think will last forever still slips through our fingers eventually. So why not appreciate this—this bubble we’re in right now—before it bursts? Every laugh, every sip, every stupid argument about who ate the last dango… all of it matters.”The air softens, but then his smirk returns, tinged with something more fiery—Lucifer’s light in his words.
“And speaking of bubbles bursting—yeah, things have been changing. Maybe too fast for some of us. Maybe not fast enough for others. But here’s the thing: if you run into a wall and pretend it doesn’t exist, you’ll never make any progress. The wall’s not gonna politely step aside for you. The wall doesn’t care. The wall is the wall. So the only thing left to do… is for us to change.”
His gaze finds Helena briefly, then sweeps across the clan.
“Helena and I—we’ve stepped into a new role. A heavier one, a louder one. Doesn’t just change us, it changes this whole crazy family. And maybe the world beyond, too. But that’s not something to fear—it’s something to embrace. Change isn’t an ending, it’s a torch. You either carry it forward, or sit in the dark wishing it hadn’t been lit.”
He grins again, this time softer, almost mischievous.
“So let’s stumble forward together. Let’s trip, let’s fall, let’s get up again. Because as long as we’re still here, as long as this bubble floats… we’ve got light to share.”

*Takatin raised his French Bread in the air in approval of Gintoki’s words.* That’s right boss! Yeah we’re all here, ready to listen, learn and give you our input! I’m with you!

*Inuyassha hops down from the tree he was sitting in and stands nearby, his ears perked and his arms crossed but he’s very much in tune to what his son is saying and feels proud that his son can speak so well and in such a positive light. He can feel the comfort, love and approval of his words. He knows the conversation might take a heavy shift at some point but the start usually marks the way the conversations here would go and his son Gin did a great job pulling everyone in with his words.* That’s right son! We’re with you! I am definitely here and have your back always!
