Kaname heard her sister, Yukii’s whisper of Helena Kamo being pregnant. Her eyes widen and she growled lightly. She realized the responsibility had now doubled but she was up to the task. She kept her sister’s secret and hurried along with Helena and Choso. She looks over to Choso and gives him reassurance.
“You don’t need to worry! We have children of our own, my sisters will protect them like they are their own flesh and blood. Let’s hurry!”

Kaname fell into step on her other side.
“Whatever’s pulling you,” Kaname said, spinning one of her blades onto her shoulder, “we’re not letting you walk into it alone.”

Kaname drove both weapons into its exposed core.
“Now!”

Kaname grinned.
“Oh, I like her.”
Together they pressed the attack.
Kaname carved through its limbs.
Choso shattered its defenses with torrents of blood.
Helena’s radiant power burned away the void infecting its core.

Kaname snorted.
“That’s cute.”
Then she launched herself skyward.
The crimson-skinned Huntress struck first, her blades carving glowing arcs through the creature’s flesh. Black ichor sprayed as the beast reeled backward, dozens of eyes swiveling toward their newest threat.
“Hey ugly!” Kaname shouted. “Over here!”

Kaname’s grin vanished.
“Okay.”
She rolled her shoulders and leveled her weapon at the monster.
“That’s officially above our pay grade.”

Kaname flashed a sharp grin and spun one of her weapons across her shoulders.
“Now that’s more like it.”
The crimson-skinned Huntress stepped forward until she stood beside Choso, both facing the growing monstrosity.
The creature finally pulled itself free.
Its massive form towered above the playground, blotting out the fractured sunlight. Dozens of burning eyes opened across its body and fixed themselves on the group below.
A voice like grinding stone echoed from its maw.

Kaname cracked her neck, her eyes focused momentarily on Helena Kamo wondering about her familiarity. She almost called out to her but then turned to focus on the matter before them. “Questions later. Bigger problem now. You good to fight, Blood-bender? Or are you just going to stand there and look pretty?”
The challenge was thrown. The threat was clear. An uneasy, temporary alliance hung in the toxic air.

The four women, daughters of Helena, a seraphim goddess and Gintoki Sakata, Lucifer, Emperor of Gehenna, dispatched the last of their immediate foes and turned to face Choso’s unmistakable fiercely protective presence, giving him a wide berth as he demanded.
To Choso, Kaname was simply the crimson-skinned one, a title he used to distinguish the immediate and visceral threat she posed. That vibrant red hue was the mark of her current demonic form, a stark contrast to the ethereal half-blue, half-purple hair that flowed wildly in the wind. Her hands were tipped with claws like polished knives, held at the ready, while her sharp, analytical brown eyes swiftly assessed Choso and his family. Her gaze lingered, trying to find the face of her mother, Helena, but Choso remained an immovable shield, allowing only a glimpse of her folded, majestic wings and the small, cautious children peering out from behind her. Turning her full, terrifying attention back to Choso, Kaname grinned, a sharp-toothed expression that was far more feral than friendly. “Feisty!” she growled, her voice a mix of amusement and menace. “We’re the neighborhood watch. Looks like you picked a hell of a time to move in.” Kaname suddenly feels Yukiko’s hand on her shoulders, making Kaname soften her expression. “We’re not here to harm you.”

*Kaname and some family members were setting up the Gazebo area of the family backyard and its surrounding area with comfortable pillows, poufs and making sure the swings were well adjusted so no one would fall off. They were prepairing for big clan / family gathering to discuss events that had already taken place but so that everyone had a chance to understand things that had happened and voice any concerns or observations.* @sweetsugardemon @shiroyassha

*Nurse Kaname carefully went over patient charts to make sure each had been looked after and those who hadn’t, she would assign nurses to. He would then go check on the patient under her care and return to the staff offices to complete patient files in order to keep the doctors updated on their patient’s progress. She also had to make sure the documents were ready for patients who were being released for the doctors to sign. Later in the day before her shift ended she would make sure to make more patient release care packages and then clock out at the end of her shift to head home.*
