Official group ABOUT the GrandSugarClan.
(RP family, friends, supporters. We are not recruiting new clan members.)
We are a group of roleplayers that have made our way to Skyrie and made this our new home.
The majority of us know each other.
There are many of us but it’s good to understand that we are as diverse as our numbers. Some of us are very private. Some are more social than others.
Our GrandSugarClan initiated on Facebook several years back starting as the SugarDemons with Helena (SweetSeraphimSugarDemon) and Gintoki Lucifer (WhiteSugarDemon)’s first marriage and having children. It then expanded from there. We then chose to use GrandSugarClan as our umbrella name since there are so many groups of our clan.
In the forum topics we elaborate a bit on the name and anything else we can think of of interest.

We are an rp family who are escaping facebook’s deleting campaign.
Our family is large. We are already set in our ways, meaning we have set stories that we are continuing to develop here. That’s why sometimes we keep to ourselves but not always. Anyone can join our public rp groups and rp as they wish.
Our GrandSugarClan families have strict rules we abide by as a large clan.We aren’t looking to adopt anyone at all at this point most of the people wearing our name are the same ones that came from facebook. This doesn’t mean we can’t be friends and rp and have fun but we aren’t taking in anyone we don’t already know as additional family.
The main purpose we came here is to have fun and explore. We love Skyrie because it’s the one place we can complete our stories without having our accounts vanish.
Please just know that we don’t mind if you rp with us but we aren’t taking anyone into our families that we don’t know or haven’t developed some kind of relationship with.

// admin: Who are we? It’s quiet simple actually. And not to sound like a broken record but I believe this has been explained before. We are a pre-established rp anime/crossover family that came from facebook to rp here. So some of our rps are things we started back in facebook. But some rps are new. Our rp style is, well, diverse. We have several public groups in which you are free to join. You are welcomed to just read and watch or you can try out any of the new rps we start. It’s up to you. We don’t rp with people outside of our rp family and friends often because we are immersed in our own stories and are used to the roleplayers we already know. But that doesn’t mean we don’t mind rping with others. This group was established to answer your questions but we might not answer everything 😉

Why sugar?To put it simply, this is because when our roleplay family started, the people who were brought together were into an anime named Gintama and their affinity for sweet and sugary things. In the work place of our family’s founder (Gintoki Lucifer), Yorozuya/Odd Jobs. There is a sign that says “Mind Your Sugar Levels.” And the GrandSugarClan was born. But note that not all our family member’s clan branches use the word “sugar”.We still love Gintama!

// What is special to me about this rp family is the bond. Many of us have known each other for years inside and outside of the rp domain. We already kinda understand each other and our rp styles.
The other thing I love about this family is the variety and anime crossover stories and characters. We tend to rp as a set character in order not to step on other people’s toes (and by other people, we mean people in our rp family and sometimes friends). It’s our form of respect and consideration for each other. Although, you’ll find some GrandSugarClan members multi muse, they do their best not to be a character that is already an rp member of the family/clan. It’s a beautiful thing! XD
