*While the family was busy either at the academy or at gravelands. There was a horde of zombies approaching the area where the empire was built. There was no worry that they would enter but they seemed to be aware of the barrier protecting the surrounding home of the GrandSugarClan and were gathering in large numbers outside. If this continued they wouldn’t be able to get out of the empire if they needed to. The first horde of zombies were regular but the next waves seemed to be mixed with other creatures making them more deadly. A group of family members within the empire took it upon themselves to fight those undead creatures and aide any of the humans living outside the area of their empire. The cities were close by and the danger was right at their doorsteps.*

*Sesshomaru remained at the empire because he wanted to protect the remaining members that were within their home. He didn’t really care about the humans outside and yet, he felt an obligation to uphold the family’s will to protect even the most vulnerable of humans. He looked looked at the increasing horde.* Pests! *he stated, then drew his sword.* You’re crowding my view! *he jumped out before he started to cut off their heads group by group. Sesshomaru’s sword Tenseiga, the heavenly rebirth fang, was the perfect weapon since it was capable of killing beings that were not from the world of the living, such as spirits, hellhounds, the undead, and other creatures that were native to the Netherworld.*

*Leuko had mentioned to his uncle Sesshy that he would be rushing to the old world to make sure that his wife Tama and his girls were safe. He knew his son Takeda was working with the S-Clan unit securing the safety of the schools. Sesshomaru had cleared a passage for Leuko as he headed to Satou Arcanum to find the quickest portal back to the old world for while.* Domo arigato uncle Sesshy! *sword drawn he ran past the swarm of zombies.*

*Ryoga swung his machete at a couple of undead trying to make their way around the empire.* It’s not like you can get in here! *he laughs and continues to walk around to find more and chop up their brains.*

*He approaches the empire and tosses his spear at four that looked like they were walking in a row. He pumps his fist in the air.* Right through the noggin! HA! *he then walks over and pushes the corpses with his foot as he pulls out the spear again.*

*He looks around and sees a lot of them have been burned to a crisp.* Nice work family! *grins as he lops the heads off a few that were lingering around.* Not too many left, they must be near the cities. *he yells out.* Ryoga baka! Don’t get lost!

*he walked near Inu* Don’t worry bro! I’ll go after Ryoga! *he used dual machetes to cut through bone and brains.* Do you know where this all initiated Inu bro?

*He looks over to Ranma* Yeah! I got a pretty good idea. *he points towards the gravelands.* Our initial worries about Helena were right. Everything came from the area where she was transforming but for some reason the full transformation didn’t take place or none of us would be here.

*Sighs* I hope they are all alright! I have a bad feeling. But let’s get inside and ask if anyone has heard any news. Otherwise, we should go investigate that battle site. Let me go get Ryoga. *heads off to make sure Ryoga doesn’t get lost.*

*Inu listens to Ranma and then to Red. But he’s looking towards the gravelands.* I have a bad feeling too! *he couldn’t sense a few of his children, his family members or his daughter-in-law. But he didn’t want to worry Ranma without having proof of what he was feeling. He looks around seeing things clearing up.* Investigate the battle area hmm? Yeah! We’ll definitely have to do that.

*She had been sent away from the Graveland by her grandmother and had managed to find her way back to the Empire as her daughter had been in trouble, so she had gotten her to safety and put up a barrier once more around her school, before returning once again to the Empire to help out the family to get rid of these undead. However, she had taken a chance in having her demon side be in control to help fight alongside them, but she was still in control herself* Pesky creatures get lost or suffer *She used her staff to send shadow like blades to cut some undead heads off*

*Yukiko had stopped at the bakery where there was no threat of the undead and she stopped her car mid way as she saw family fighting the horde of undead gathered outside the empire.* I see! So it seems that whomever manipulated them had us in mind. *She turns around in her can and picks up a shot gun from her back seat.* I’m sure this will help me clear a path until I get close enough to the others that they can help me get the car through safely. I have to get the medical supplies and the food inside in. There wren’t any zombies behind her so she opened the door cocked the gun and began to let the bullets fly towards the back of the zombies heads. Once she got their attention. They began to head towards her and she waved to her family members.* I’m gonna need help getting the car inside! *she yelled pointing at the car. She fired a few more shots and then she got into the car and revved up the engine.* I’m counting on you! *she said softly.*
