*Ed and Tessa stole a moment to meet up at the teacher’s lounge. They were giddy like teenagers experiencing love for the first time. Each getting a kiss in whenever they finished a sentence. Then they would get serious and talk about work when other teachers and staff came in. The other’s knew but pretended not to know, and went about their business. Then Ed would head back to give his next class, and Tessa took a group of students to train in military safety strategies outside the school an on the private military grounds of Mithril.*

*Tessa would greet family and some staff that were always wandering around the school grounds during the weekends. She left her daughter, Theodora in her class and went to have a cup of hot chocolate at the school lunch hall while she waited. She was gaining more strength and energy as she walked more. She was pacing herself before returning to exercising and then training again. Thanks to her mom, Helena, healing most of her body didn’t take much time but she was cautious and she didn’t push things if it wasn’t necessary. She did see many familiar faces at the school and some new ones. She was aware of how things were changing in their world. For now, appreciating all she had and loved was what mattered most.*

*Ed had taken Tessa to the hospital to check up on her pregnancy. She was in consultation with her sister Yukiko and they were checking her vitals and the babies progress. She was blissfully unaware of the frightening news she would get later.
