Oi! *he smiled* I’m alright! Is everyone else safe. *he would wave at them.* Hello and welcome! You’re halfway to the new world. Should be a simple path to the new world for you from here. *he then took a seat.* My name is Gintoki and this is my wife Helena. It’s nice to meet you all! *He wipes blood from his mouth and looks at Helena.* Oi! Where’s that parfait you were gonna give me. So Bon and Rintoki are out there. Heh! I expect no less from those two!

*Gin came back holding his body in pain and would wait for the hide out to be visible again so that he could walk in.*

*He watched as the the refugees ran right into the hide out.* Helena! Oi! Close the door! Keep them safe! *Gintoki could feel the ground beneath his feet shaking.* I can’t let the giant come close to this area. *He turns and winks at her.* I’ll be back for my parfait! *he then ran off into the forested area that kept the hide out from being discovered to encounter the giant.*

*Sits back and enjoys a jumbo parfait his son Rintoki made for him. He looks over to his cousin Noloty.* That’s one helluva cake you made for Helena and the party. *he laughs* Noloty cousin, I hope your also having fun too. We are gonna be rather stuffed when we get home and then the brunch and the party at the nightclub! But I’m not complaining. Seeing family get together like this makes me really happy.

*Gin stood outside the door of the family library. He was there in case his son Leo got out of hand. He trusted his wife Helena and his cousin Noloty fully. He knew that everything they did had a rhyme and reason to it. He listened in on the conversation as he remained out of view and would smile when he heard Gentoka. And silently said.* You see Queen Hild, your daughter has surpassed you in knowledge. You should follow her lead. *he then went quietly back upstairs.*

I better take a few of these too before you eat it all! *he grabbed some sake bottles and sat next to his wife at the table.* Happy Thanksgiving family! Gomen, I had to take care of a few things b ut I hav e to say, this is a great turnout! *he smiles* I’m grateful that you’re all here and that we can enjoy this delicious meal together!

*Gin was relieved by what Toshi said. He stood guard while Helena finished focusing on son Leo so that they could head back to the healing center and check up on Gen.*

*Gin felt protected by the light that Helena was emitting. But he still took the precaution of finding his way closest to the old bridge so that he could put them down and let them finish focusing. He then took out his sword and looks around. They were far from the foggy forest but he looked over to Toshi for reassurance.* Oi! Did the hunter follow us?

Oi Toshi! You done giving me orders?! *He snapped back. But Gin knew this was a good opportunity, he grunted as he picked up both Helena and Leo and ran while carrying them both doing his best not to disrupt Helena’s connection to her son.* Leo! Hang in there! *he said and picked up the pace.*

*Gin understood what Toshi was doing, he felt the push and Gin took the cue. He carefully would move as he tried to talk to his son Leo.*Oi! Leo son, don’t panic! *His heart broke looking into his son’s eyes, that of a father who failed to protect what he loved.* Son, we can’t win every battle, Gen is alive and well and we have to give him a reason to live! Don’t give into the powers, they are unstable right now! *he could hear a shift behind him and he sense that Toshi had tensed up.* We need to move!
