  • “We can’t burn all the fakes in the world. But we can make sure they don’t win.”

*And with that, sisters Yukiko and Momo, along with their sister-in-law Alfonsina, stepped out of the room. With a sharp snap of Yukiko’s fingers, her medical team swiftly entered, their movements efficient and purposeful. The room would be thoroughly cleansed—spiritually and physically—while the patient was monitored closely, made as comfortable as possible under watchful care.*

*Yukiko would personally oversee his recovery, checking in regularly until Mr. Bellweather’s mind, body, and soul had fully stabilized.*

*The echo of their victory lingered in the air like a calm breeze after a violent storm—subtle, but unmistakably felt.*

*And so, the three women returned to their roles: Yukiko to her duties as doctor and exorcist, Alfonsina to her work as a skilled alchemist, and Momo to the quiet path of the shinigami, where death walks gently beside the living.*

  • *Yukiko stepped forward, purple flames licking faintly at her fingertips, her eyes glowing with purpose and centuries of knowledge—and pain. The corrupted book vibrated in defiance, invisible to human eyes, but to her and Momo, it was a snarling thing, dripping in venomous intent.*

“I hate books like this. Old, twisted relics dressed up in ancient power, pretending to be sacred when all they do is destroy. This is no samsara. It’s a parasite. And parasites don’t get mercy.”

*She laid her tablet aside, calling forth her ceremonial dagger—not a weapon for killing, but for **carving open spiritual falsehoods**. Her flame sharpened, condensed, circling the dagger like a coiled serpent.*

“You fed on this man’s regrets. On his fears, his traumas, his love, even. You forced him through a thousand lives, but never let him live even one. That ends now.”

*She turned to Momo and smiled faintly—a rare crack in her usually hard demeanor.*

“Let’s do this together, one last time. Just like when we cleansed the Akurei Temple, back in the old world. Your silence and my flame.”

*Yukiko walked to the foot of Mr. Bellweather’s bed, holding her hands over his body. Her purple fire expanded into a protective circle. Chanting in a language known only to her kind, she began a spiritual cleansing—an exorcism not just of a spirit, but of a concept, a false reality.*

“Purification by soul flame… Sealing by name and blood… Break and banish.”

*As her words pulsed through the air, Momo’s shinigami essence stabilized the fragments of Mr. Bellweather’s soul, anchoring them while Yukiko sliced through the book’s invisible chains one by one.*

**Yukiko (softly, almost like a prayer):**

“This man is not yours. His past may be haunted, but his future is his to write. You were never a path. Only a trap. Burn.”

*With a final flare of energy—white light from Momo and deep violet from Yukiko—the book gave a shriek only they could hear. It imploded into nothingness, its false pages curling in on themselves like rotting leaves caught in a divine firestorm.*

*Silence fell. Then, breath. Mr. Bellweather stirred. The mist was gone.*

  • Yukiko sits gracefully beside her — posture perfect, purple hair with blue tips sleek and cascading behind one shoulder. Her glasses glint with candlelight, red eyes calm yet calculating as she lifts her glass to Kaname’s. Her other hand delicately holds a flower tartlet, its petals vivid under the crystals above. A thin wisp of mist swirls near her lips like a whispered spell.

She held her glass with precise elegance, her red eyes sharp behind her glasses. The gentle mist that rose from the wine only made her look more ethereal — and more unreadable. She watched the other guests out of the corner of her eye before leaning slightly towards Kaname.

“Secrets are currency here,”she murmured, her voice smooth and quiet as the candlelight. “Be careful who you spend them on.” Yukiko tapped her glass lightly against her sister’s, the faintest smirk mirroring Kaname’s own.

Together, they raised the tartlets between them — edible flowers, cream, mystery. For a fleeting moment, the twins’ mirrored expressions softened in the warm hush of Sugar Bacchanalia. @skybluedemonflame

  • Sugarview Medical Center, an all-inclusive hospital treating those with minor to emergency injuries and those with illnesses. Located in the territory of Skyrie Sugarland and run by the GrandSugarClan Family is a gleaming modern hospital with comfortable rooms and beautiful large serene surrounding area, you wouldn’t notice it’s a close ride by bus to most major cities.

It’s late evening, the usual chaos of daytime has subsided, replaced by a quiet hum of activity and the gentle beeping of monitors.

Doctor Yukiko, sometimes referred to as Doctor OkumuraSakata or Doctor Hiruma, spends her time during the quiet moments in her office going over patient charts and making sure that the documentation they provide to citizens (that allow them to traverse freely in the lands of Skyrie, their new Earth) were properly written, worded, all major vaccinations and check up performed and then she would make sure to add her stamp of approval.

The brilliant and dedicated doctor, owner and director of the Sugarview Medical Center has a sharp mind and although she comes across with a fiery sass, she has compassionate bedside manners, she has unique hair that occasionally shifts from a deep, regal purple to a soft, lavender hue. Even her eyes occassionally shift colors between purple and red. These are traits she inherited from her parents, some responded to her powers and some responded to her mood.

She wears her usual white coat over a stylish but comfortable blouse and trousers. Her glasses are perched on her nose as she looks at a screen with lab results.

A nurse walks knocks politely, Nika Kawaii ( @s106kawaii), a young, eager-to-please nurse who’s been working at the hospital for almost a year. She’s seen your hair change before, but it still makes her slightly nervous. She’s efficient and respectful, but sometimes gets flustered under pressure.

Yukiko had been reviewing Mr. Bellweather’s chart. The team is stumped. All tests have come back inconclusive, yet he’s clearly unwell. As you’re flipping through the pages, Nika comes knocks tentatively on your door.

Nika: “Dr. Yukiko, excuse me. I know you’re busy, but… Mr. Bellweather’s condition seems to be… worsening. And… that book he was reading, he’s clutching it and no one can pry it from his hands. It’s emitting a strange toxic green color.”

Yukii gets up from her chair and follows her to Mr. Bellweather’s room. She can sense something strange coming from this book. First, delves deeper into this symptoms, she ordered a few more tests, consulting with a few specialists and trying to figure out the underlying cause of his illness while juggling your responsibilities as head of the hospital. As she delves deeper into his case, she realizes the book seems to be draining him of life. She approaches carefully and tries to touch the book but it’s like grasping at air. She wonders how he’s able to hold it when the book isn’t material. After verifying he had come in with the book and nothing was weird about it when he initially came in complaining of loss of energy.

She then looks at the nurse wondering how they tried to pry it away from him. They said they would grab each of his hands and try to pull them away from the book since they couldn’t grab it. It was then that Yukiko decided to go visit with her younger sister Momo. @whiteshinigamigoddess

Momo and Yukii, on Momo’s suggestion when to visit the Library of the Shinigami/ Spirit World ( https://www.skyrie.net/groups/hades-shinigami-spirit-world/forum/discussion/library-of-the-shinigami-spirit-world/ )

  • *Yukiko followed Momo through long halls, as she looked around she found herself standing before a towering shelf lined with books bound in shadow. A spectral librarian, its form flickering like candlelight, glides towards you. It speaks in a voice like rustling leaves: “Welcome, seeker. You seek knowledge of Samsara. Tell me, what thread of understanding do you pursue?”

*She looks at Momo as if wondering if she would answer this question but realized it was her call.*

Librarian sama! I wish to research books detailing any books on this subject that themselves can be dangerous, whispering misleading information, projecting illusions, or even physically attacking those who misuse them. I’m of the belief, I saw a patient of mine obsessed with a book of this nature. I want to research these in order to know how to best deal with the book and the one holding on to it.

*She spectral libriarian leads Yukiko and Momo to a certain section of the library and leaves them to their research. She notices Momo picking a few books.* It’s a patient that has arrived in my care with a book of this nature. *Referring to what she asked the librarian.* It would be easy if the book is a fake but something about it gave me chills. And I’m glad you are with me. It might be something you and I will have to deal with together.

  • Back to work!

  • *She walks down the hall with Kaname.* No, let them rest! We need to replenish too. I am happy though, sis can sleep well tonight. Let’s make a few phone calls.
