*Demona had learned more and the stories began to contradict themselves in some areas. She would need help to figure things out. So she shared what she had with those she had invited to the House of Hellstorm.*
This is a summary of what I have but there are parts that I don’t comprehend…
*Demona would go ahead and explain that Victoria Wingate was Demona’s grandmother and Mother of Satana and Daimon. She was a homemaker who was carefully watched by an occult faction that sent in a test subject known as the demon Marduk Kurios. This demon was created with the blood of the goddess and a group of demon lords of Gehenna.
The demon Marduk Kurios acting as Satan arrived in Firelake the hometown of Victoria. He seduced and married her. Her parents suddenly died and later Daimon and Satana were born. Victoria eventually discovered that she married the person whom she believed to be Satan. Believing that she lived with Satan and Satan’s children drove her mad.
She tried to write all she learned in a diary but it was hard to understand due to her madness. She later died at the mental hospital.
Stephen Loss whom they believe to be an uncle, took guardianship of Satana and Daimon but Satana was given to Lord Satan as his child. He always denied that was his child but was fascinated by her abilities and later was equally enthralled by Daimon’s rebellious spirit and his powers.
*She then spreads out her notebooks so they can take a look at everything she had.*

*Demona walks over and bows. She greets Satanachia and Dezember.* Hello, my name is Demona, as lady Cindy Cyan said. I look forward to working here with all of you. *She smiles but when her eyes meet with Dez’s she blushes and quickly turns her face. She wonders why hear heart is beating so hard. She then looks again and she realizes that she is attracted to Dez.*

*Demona was in a dreamworld filled with possibilities. She knew there were many paths she could take. She wandered in her dream feeling hopeful. Then she felt the sun touch her skin. She began to open her eyes and look outside the window. The darkness was gone. She was still partially in a dream state and wondering how she had gotten to the dorm and into bed.*

*As she walked through the academy halls. The voice of Lady Grey caught her attention. She stopped outside the door of the classroom and listened to a little of her lecture. Intrigued, she wrote down the number of the room.* I will ask Principal Yukio if I can still sign up for this course. It sounds fascinating. *She then continued down the corridor to the lunch room to obtain the nutrients she needed for her tired body.*

*She thought about the answer to this carefully. There was nothing heroic to her motivations. Her reason to fight was to restore the honor to her family lineage. But this made her wonder if there was something more for her to fight for.*

*Demona sat in the library with several ancient books describing the mysterious scorpion goddess she had heard a little about from other demons when she had still been in the realms of Gehenna.
With her aunt Satana out of the pictures, she felt free to further investigate the lead which she had acquired from her research. First she read of the Mesopotamian Scorpion Goddess, her name, Ishkhara. The myth described her of a goddess of love, and there was an association of her with fertility but what caught Demona’s eyes was the part that said she was “mother of Seven Sebettu.” *
The seven Sebettu? Who are they? *she made a note for herself in a notepad. *She then underlined something which caught her eye.* So she was the spouse of the god Dagan. Hmm. More curious information I need to dig further into. She also had a reputation as a sort of healer, giving medicine to her followers. But It seems she wasn’t too fond of those who didn’t keep her word. As per this text she would “inflict austere bodily penalties to oath breakers.”
*Demona twirled the pen in her hand. And then grabbed another book and carefully looked for the Seven Sebettu, when she finally arrived at the texts she leaned foward in her chair and put her fingers on the page.* Here it is! *She exclaimed with a slight grin as if coming across the information was a matter of child’s play. She then blinks and sits back.* The sons of heaven and earth? Like the Titans of Ellada?
*Demona leaned back as she was starting to get a headache from all the information she was trying to injest had even robbed her of some sleep.* Ugh, I’m feeling dizzy but I have to know more. Let me put this as a side note. I need to return to this idea of the songs of heaven and earth. It might be a good line of decendance. Something has to click. I might have to sit and speak with Daimon dad about all of this. If he even suspects what I do.
*She then turned her focus back on the description of goddesses and noticed another. The Hindu Scorpion Goddess, Chelamma.* This one seems more closely related to my family as it is written that those who worshiped at her shrine would be exempt from being bitten by scorpions. This seems more direct but not much information here. I might have to dig a little deepr into her background and see if there are any more stories.
*Demona moved on to an Aztec Goddess, Malinalxochitl, who presides over snakes, scorpions and insects. Demona’s eyes widened as she read a bit of her description.* Sorceress! Witch! Powerful! Her specialty, making people suffer hallucinations and fantasize about many things. Definitely dangerous! *But there was nothing more to read on her text. Demona circled her name as she found Malinalxochitl particularly fascinating.*
Serket? I’ve seen this name before. *The following Egyptian Goddess of Scorpions was familiar to Demona. She had run across her name before during her research and heard demons utter her name around her.* Is it possible? *She stopped to look at a picture of a statue depicting her resemblance. Then she would read some of the text.* A goddess with lower scorpion body and female human upper body. She was followed by several priests. I wonder if I would be able to find any of them and interrogate them. But Serket is such an ancient diety. It seems was was benevolent but also had a darker side to her. This is definitely another goddess that has similar traits to my family line, the power over venomous scorpions and snakes. She had an association to early pharoahs. *She laughs a bit* I see, she had a knack for manipulation and power. Seems she was later identified with Isis. Hmm, how strange.
*Demona thumbed through the book to see if she could find more and came across the two Scorpion goddesses of ancient Egypt Hedetet and Ta-Bitjet.* Hmm more Egyptian scorpion goddeses? *She laughs lightly when she hears someone sshh her from across the room.* Sorry! *she said blushing slightly and then turning her curious eyes back onto the book.* The information is a bit vague. *She wrote in her notepad* One is associated with blood lost during deflowering. They seem to have direct lineage to the gods Ra and Horus. *She wasn’t sure those were the two she was looking for and wondered if they were in some way related to Serket.*
I made enough notes for now. *Demona stood up and returned the books she ha already read through. She knew that her research was far from over and would have to delve into the dieties which invoked most of her interest. She felt that would be the lead she was longing for.*
I’m getting close to finding my proof and presenting it to Daimon dad so that we can confirm what I truly believe to be part of our lineage. *As she got up, she almost stumbled from her dizziness.*
I better get some food and then head to the dorm and get some sleep. *With this statement she left the library and headed to the academy’s lunch room.

Of course it had been easier to find documents of her grandmother Victoria Wingate Hellstorm.
She was a homemaker and mother of Satana and Diamon who lived in Fire Lake mansion in Spookytown Massachusetts.
She was a member of the Chapel of Dresden and heard she had an enemy called Stephen Loss. Demona would have to research this later.
To Demona’s surprise, she learned that her grandmother Victoria was not only a human but she was a possible user of magic.
What kind of magic? This is something she would have to dig deeper to find.In accordance with the document…
“A little more then one year later, she gave birth to a son, Daimon, at home, tended by strangers who served her husband.When Daimon was a year and a half, his father began taking extended trips, leaving Daimon alone with Victoria.
Another year and a half later, they gave birth to their daughter, Satana.
The Chapel of Dresden’s plans were brought to a halt six months after Satana’s birth, when Stephen Loss located and exterminated them.
Over the next six years, Daimon and Victoria grew closer, as Marduk Kurios focused his efforts on Satana, who showed more interest in his teachings.”
*Demona had to read one paragraph a few times. Who is this Stephen Loss and who did he execute? Members of the Chapel? *She continued to read but made note to learn who Stephen Loss was.*
“Victoria walked in on a ceremony in which Satana was sacrificing an domestic animal for her father.”
So they were discovered! Satana and Marduk Kurios. *She reads on* It continues to say how Victoria wrote that is where Satan revealed himself. *Demona sighs* Such a shock for grandmother! Now I see why she was put in an insane asylum. That is too much for a homemaker and a chapel attendee.
*She read on…*
“While locked away, Victoria wrote a diary for her son to read when he was old enough to understand it. However, Victoria had been driven quite mad by the realization of what she had done, and this caused her to create her own fantasy world in which she was not complicit in the creation of the dark messiah.”
*Demona stopped reading for a moment to take some of the information she found into question. She verified the names and dates against some records the had and then made more notes on what to look into further.*
So on his 21st birthday, Diamon, my father inherited this mansion. But I see if was formerly named “Fire Lake Mansion”. It also says here that Stephen Loss told my father the truth about our family. The truth? Who is this person?
*She learned that although Marduk Kurios came to his grandmother Victoria as a perfect gentleman, he quickly seduced her, courted her, got engaged and that Victoria’s parents were upset and even forbade her to marry.*
Poor grandmother Victoria, she should have listened to her parents. *she then reads the part where her great grandparents suddenly fell ill and died.* What the hell?
*There was more but Demona would end it there as she would take what she had written and continue her research, especially since she believed she was in no danger of being discovered by her auntie Satana who fortunately, was in Gehenna.*

*The drinks seemed enticing and the men looked rather inviting. She decided she would take a chance and head on over to the Singles Party in honor of Valentine’s Day week.* First, to get my hands on those delicious looking drinks. *Then she looks around the room. Trying to decipher the different auras of those who were already there.*
