*Kuronue would take Motonari to the interrogation while the others continued to fight the rest of the ogres appearing outside the gates of the empire.*

*Shifting his wings from feathery to demon bat wings he was able to amplify Shinjirou’s counterattack. He was onboard with getting Motonari further out of there so they could deal with him without destroying anything outside of the empire gates. The trees and whatever nature had been outside was already suffering but not only because of them but because of the strange and unstable weather phenomenon that was still increasing around them.*

*Kuronue’s feather shield resisted the fire and lightning so he stepped in front of his companions in order to shield them. But the force with which they were hurled pushed him back right into Akura-ou and Shinjirou knocking all three of them down in the process. He cursed at himself for not realizing that Motonari would increase the force of his attacks. He was quickly getting up and continued to hold the shield up in case Motonari unleashed more of his attacks.*

*Kuronue flew over the attack but part of his wing was hit which made him lose some balance as he swirled towards Motonari with his pendulum blades. He could feel the pain from the cut and he held it in so he could continue his fight.*

*Kuronue was dodging the return of his attacks when he saw the blade close to him. He got a cut on his chest but thanks to Akura-Ou, he had not been impaled. Kuronue figured he must be a little rusty.* Arigato Akura-Ou but I can handle this guy on my own! *taking impulse he ran around the ogre trying to get him from the side with his blades.*

*Kuronue would also smirk but then he’d swiftly begin his attack on the ogre outside the gates. He wasn’t about to let that remark slide. He swung his pendulum blades like whirlwinds and tossed them towards his opponent while quickly approaching his target so that he could also strike with one of his blades at closer range.*

I’ve fought both Leo and his son and I owe them my loyalty for personal reasons so, you wont get Ginji from me or anyone else here as easily as you like. Lord Satan’s boring domain is not for me. *he waves dismissively.* No thanks! So, if you’re gonna fight! Fight! I never made any illusion about living here peacefully but it sure is better than being dominated by that tyrant! *Prepares his weapon* If we must fight…Motonari…then so be it!

*The gates had been raised. Kuronue went outside, the gates closed behind him. Outside the gates was ogre Motonari. Kuronue had sensed him and had come out to greet the visitor.* You’re a bit far from your dwellings ogre. Why don’t I help you find your way back home.

*Kuronue felt a sting go through his body as he passed the barrier. Apparently he wasn’t all that benevolent but not bad enough to be rejected by the barrier. Leo had advise he go there and try the delicious delights offered at the bakery. Once he entered and sat down he tried their famous parfaits. He liked them so much he actually had a few. There were strawberry, chocolate, pineapple, blueberry and other fruity flavors. When he was full, he sat back and enjoyed the family atmosphere within the place. You could tell the bakery was not new. There was soul in the bakery itself. A joyful and protective soul. A comforting soul. After a little while lost in a bit of a daydream he had some tea and then he would thank lady Helena and lady Noloty, each with a kiss to the hand in appreciation for their artistry and amazing baker talents.* I shall return. I’m fully satisfied. Arigato!

*Kuronue carries Kasuga to the hide out. He puts her down as they meet up with the others.* Looks like this is the place where we find out how to get out of here. *puts his ayakashi mask on.*

*Kuronue uncrosses his arms. Walks towards Kasuga and shield her with his demonic bat wings.* I guess I should escort this lady out of this area. *he then picks her up but before he leaves he uses his lightning abilities to disable some scorpoins trying to sneak up on the batteling ayakashi.* Not on my watch! Kasuga! Shall we go then? *he smiles at her*

*Kuronue quietly flew over Oodanna and the others. He wasn’t too high above, but high enough he could see what was above and what may be ahead. He thought of his own reasons he wanted to visit the new world and barely said a word to anyone on their way to Hades.*
