*Shuhei’s eyes scan the room, he notices plenty of familiar faces and some not so familiar one that seem harmless, just there for a fun night. His eyes finally settles on a beautiful figure of Rika making her way over to the bar. He then heads outside and takes a walk around to familiarize himself with that particular alley and what other shady things surround the new establishment. He then heads back inside to congratulate niece Zeza. He then greets Rika and joins her for a drink at the bar.*

*The pulsing bass vibrated through Shuhei’s bones, a familiar lullaby to his centuries-old soul. His crimson hair, a vibrant flame against the smoky haze of the nightclub, shifted with each predatory sway of his body. Tonight, he wasn’t hunting blood, not precisely. Tonight, he was simply enjoying the orchestrated chaos. The flashing strobes painted his sharp features in fleeting moments of stark beauty, highlighting the subtle curve of his fangs as he smirked at the clumsy attempts of mortals to mimic his effortless grace on the dance floor. A can of beer was crushed in his hand, a mere prop in this intoxicating theater of the night. He was a predator amongst prey, a demon vampire reveling in the ephemeral energy that only a crowded nightclub could provide. The music surged, and Shuhei, for a fleeting moment, allowed himself to be swept away by the rhythm, a devil lost in the delightful noise.*

Metropolis Theme: Echo Sector 9 (with Rika) @snipersugarspirit
Shuhei catches up as he had been taken aback by how life-like the scenery was. He’s pragmatic, cautious, and deeply attached to his girlfriend. He has enhanced strength, speed, and healing, but in this LARP, he is vulnerable to direct sunlight and certain rituals. He’s dressed in practical, dark clothing – think tactical pants, a reinforced jacket, and boots meant for climbing. His red hair loose and vibrant in the dark.
Participants are playing scavengers, desperate survivors, cultists, and mutated remnants of the old world. The organizers have done an impressive job with the setting, using pyrotechnics, smoke machines, and elaborate props to create a truly immersive environment.
The air vibrates with the sounds of distant explosions (controlled, of course, by the LARP organizers), the cries of “mutated crows” (played by enthusiastic teenagers in feathered costumes), and the occasional shout from a nearby group of scavengers.
He notes that they seem to be in a once bustling commercial district, now a maze of rubble and twisted metal.
Shuhei: (Grumbling, his voice a low rumble) “I still don’t understand why we’re doing this, Rika. It’s loud, crowded, and frankly, depressing. All this…enthusiasm for a simulated apocalypse is a little much, don’t you think?” He teases her sarcastically, as he scans the area, his senses heightened, always aware of potential threats, real or imagined.
Rika: (Beaming, practically vibrating with excitement) “But Shuhei, it’s amazing! Look at it! It’s like a giant obstacle course! And everyone is so into it! Don’t be such a grump.” She responds to his sarcasm with a challenging but playful sass. “We can raid that ‘abandoned’ pharmacy for ‘medical supplies’ and then fight off the ‘zombie horde’ at the old radio station! Come on, admit it, even you have to appreciate the effort they put into this. Besides,” she leans in conspiratorially, nudging him with her elbow, “I heard there’s a hidden cache of vintage sodas somewhere in the subway tunnels. Think of the resale value!”
Shuhei: (looks at her with his bright blue eyes and a gleam of amusement) “Vintage sodas! Alright! I’m sold but the first cream soda goes to me.” He then laughs a bit before turning his attention back to their surroundings and preparing himself for anything. Her excitement was definitely rubbing off on him.*

*In the grand hall of the Vampire Church, illuminated by an ethereal mix of dark and pure light energies swirling in a monumental vortex above. The architecture is gothic, with towering arches, stained glass windows depicting ancient legends, and intricate carvings on the stone walls catching the light and casting elongated shadows.
Shuhei stands at the forefront, a striking figure with vibrant blood-red hair that cascades past his shoulders, shimmering with subtle gold highlights. His eyes, a deep crimson with hints of gold, reflect both intensity and determination. He wears a fitted, dark scarlet attire with subtle intricate designs that hint at nobility, emblazoned, in the back side, with symbols representing his lineage.
He stands next to his father and brothers, and a step behind his sister, with a slight bow. His expression radiates a mix of awe and newfound confidence, embodying his transformation.
Before him, the towering figure of Absalom manifests, garbed in regal attire that blends shadows and light. His eyes glow with an ancient wisdom, and his presence commands respect. His long, blood-red flowing hair appears almost alive, shifting colors between dark hues and brilliant whites, symbolizing his divine nature.
Shuhei, the ambitious vampire known for his sharp wit, ruthless efficiency, and vibrant blood-red hair, had gained a reputation as a hunter and problem solver for some of the more influential vampires. He became part of the Shinsengumi along with his brothers, who already knew their family was a powerhouse. But now, this new power bestowed upon him by the ancient vampire god Absalom, progenitor of many vampire bloodlines, along with his beautiful sister Helena—a seraphim and rising goddess in her own right—had elevated him even further.
Standing in the heart of the Vampire Church, Shuhei was amazed to meet the vampire god and learn that he was an even closer relative to them than he had imagined. When Absalom granted Helena her request, the church began pulsating with dark energy intermingled with pure energy, swirling together in a dance for balance and connection. The energies shimmered like a swirling vortex of crimson and pure light. Inside the church, Shuhei was enveloped by these powers as they tightened around him, embracing him. Outside, the vortex exploded, bathing the vampires in raw power.
Shuhei noticed the surge of energy coursing through his veins, changing him at a fundamental level. He could sense his inherent vampire powers magnified, but something else was awakening inside him; he could feel the power of divinities within.
As he watched the vortex dissipate, he felt a tingling sensation in his skin. He ran his fingers through his red hair, noticing a subtle shimmer of gold intertwined with the crimson strands. A new power surged within him—a power that felt both ancient and alien.
He bows his head respectfully to the vampire god, who acknowledged him as one of his own and granted his sister her wish.*

As of 2020: S-Squad Military Warehouse is a place for the 13th Bureau to keep public records, store, rotate and safekeep supplies and equipment. It’s also used to receive material and shipment of supplies and has filed and information made more available to local Shinsengumi, police and detectives to conduct their own investigations and research.
It was formerly S-Clan Unit Special Operations Squad barracks and interrogation area. The operations moved to S-Clan’s 13th Bureau. After major reconstruction, it was decided to use it as a military warehouse, open to allies, friends and family looking to search old files that were deemed “public” by the GSC.
