*Ranma had remained in the same place along with Ryoga as Koga and Inu went on Recon. He sat near Inu and talked for a while.* Listen brother, we can take turns, you can definitely let me know when you want to switch. I can keep watch and you can get some rest. We need to figure out what is going on, otherwise, we’ll be walking around aimlessly for a long time.

*He looks around and then looks at Ryoga.* Hai! I’ve noticed several things. I know you’re not good with direction, so you would not have picked up on this, but no matter how much we’ve been walking we haven’t gotten anywhere near the temple. At the rate we’ve been going we should have been close to it’s outer gates by now. Also, we thought we had not come across any trouble as we were making our way there, but we were wrong. I believe we are caught in an illusion of sorts right now. Someone or something, doesn’t want us reaching the temple.

*The trip to the Temple of Bau had taken several months. Ranma lit a fire as they camped out for the night. He looked at Ryoga who sat across from him.* Brother, I have a feeling, there’s some kind of magic at work here.

They had to journey deep into the Demon Dog Forest as they made their way there. They also had to learn what the artifact was since the monks there had kept this secret for so long.* We’ve got our work cut out for us gentlemen. Let’s see what we can find out.

*he was making sure there was a large area next to the Yuletide tree so that everyone could leave their presents. He he admired the tree until he heard the commotion and couldn’t help but laugh at everyone’s reaction to big brother Sesshomaru. But it was a disturbing image to see him like that.* I’m gonna have nightmares.
