Village of the Demon Dogs near Bone Eater’s Well is located near Kaede’s Village. It is the dwellings of humans, hanyou and various Inu relatives. Located within The Legendary Demon Dog Forest. It’s a stop for curious and visiting travelers. Some refer to it as Inu’s Village.

*the purple haired kitsune ventured into the Legendary Forest of the Demon Dogs.* Amazing, even in the new world they carve out territory for themselves. *She smiles and sees that there were some wandering undead. She used her foxfire to finish them off and then unleashed the scent of lavender from the plant that was in the area.* I know the demon dogs are sensitive to smells so I have to get rid of the stench of burnt corpses.

*Returning to the Demon Dog village, he sees a purple kitsune. He we recognized her and waves* Ren! *his granddaughter-in-law had found her way into the forest and was clearing up the zombie mess.* Heh you don’t have to do that! Let the vultures pick them off! *walks closer to her so he can greet her.*

*She quickly gets up and bows.* Yes sir, I do have to. I don’t want that stench disturbing you or the wildlife in this area. Besides, it’s the last dignity those poor manipulated corpses get. We wouldn’t want Lord Dio to call upon them again. These would definitely rise too. So its best if I turn them to ashes and follow it with a lavender fragrance that will soothe every living thing here. This particular fox fire I’m using is fused with the fragrance of lavender. I would use orchids but those are for special fun occasions. *she wiggles her tail.* Once I”m done here. I’ll head back. Arigato Inu!

*Inuyassha took Kasumii to see the Legendary Forest of the Demon Dogs. They sat on the edge of a cliff looking down at the village and enjoying their time together. It had been so long since he had seen her. He wanted to spend some more time with her so he had her take a little tour of the new world with him and their new found territories.* Kasumi, I don’t know what I would have done if you hadn’t come to our new home. I thought of kidnapping you.

*Ranma was talking a walk in the woods when he noticed Kasumi and Inu enjoying some time on their own. He kept walking so he wouldn’t disturb them but he could tell by how his brother Inu moved his ears that his presence was noted. He continues deeper into the forest to gather some wood from an area that had a strange tree that only grew within that forest. He would chop down some of the unhealthy or older trees that were about to tilt over. Chop up the wood, then put it in a cart he brought along with him.* As usual! I’m stuck doing all the work! Pfft! *he knew the wood was important because it was burned for certain ceremonial rituals done at a few of the demon dog shrines in the area and for the temple back at Satou Arcanum. He picked them up and placed them carefully in the cart. Then stopped to take in the smell of the woods before heading down the mountains again with his load of wood. As he was heading down he caught glimpse of a cottage.* Hmm, that wasn’t there before. Guess I’ll ask brother Inu about it later.

*Kasumi sensed that Ranma was close by working but she was focused on her husband whom she had not seen for a while. She was happy to look into his eyes again and to caress his long white/silver hair. She then hugged him tightly feeling safe within the arms that had always protected her.* I missed you so much Inu beloved! *she would then look up and smile at him.*

* Hikari sat quietly in a corner of the forest. Her eyes were filled with tears. She wanted to be alone for a while. She missed the lovely elder ladies of the family that had departed. Although she had only known them for a short time, the impact of their presence on her was strong. And they were such a fun and lively bunch. Hikari slowly wipes her tears.* I’m a warrior fairy! There’s no time to be such a sap. *she told herself but the tears helped her relieve her sadness. she stood up and looked around.* I wouldn’t want Master Inuyassha or Lord Sesshomaru Bokyosei finding me here in tears. They seem to have accepted the fate that came to the ladies. Therefore, I will honor their memory by continuing to protect everything they held sacred. *then Kyo-Ichigo came to mind.* And him. *she blushes and gets up, then heads out of the forest.*
