Road to Gehenna’s Gates : NetherHell
The exact location of Gehenna’s Gates / NetherHell is often disputed. Demons know their way there because if they do not return to their designated inferno they are hunted and then tortured in the deepest part of Hell. Sometimes the rulers of the abyss make the road visible to capture a few wandering souls or to let the demons out to cause a little bit of chaos in the living world.
The Road to Gehenna’s Gates (or Highway to Hell) is filled with different places designed to keep some visitors trapped in limbo and some roads lead to a deadly battlefield where they wage the battle for their lives and souls.
The Road to Gehenna’s Gates is a dangerous journey where Hell Awaits.

On the Southern tip of Acheron was the Fiery River’s Edge of Akheron. The furthest and most difficult part of the river to cross into the Netherworlds. In Acheron, daimon Kharon ferried the souls of the dead across its dark waters in his skiff, but in the Fiery River’s Edge of Akheron he would tease anyone wanting to cross there to jump into the river of fire and watch them burn. He would pull them out and leave them on the edge of the river to be revived. The victim would try again and again they would suffer the same fate. Even if someone found a way across the river would be filled with beasts ready to pull the victims under.

Belphy: *Stands over Mephisto.* Wake up! Wake up! Brother! Look where we are.
Mephy: *opens his eyes, sits up and looks around.* Ugh! *holds his head* I felt that bump! *sighs* How unfabulous! This dreary place! *his eyes open wider* Wait! We are not inside Gehenna!
Belphy: *Nods* We are near the Fiery River’s Edge of Akheron. I guess, Helena’s will was stronger than imagined. She was able to lessen brother Satan’s ability to pull us into hell.
Mephy: We must thank her properly if we can get ourselves out of this place again. It will be a challenge. I do hope it doesn’t rain. The rain here is slightly acidic but packs a sting especially when it pours.
Belphy: Let’s get moving then. I don’t want to be tempted back into my old habits of craving for human flesh.

*After getting warnings from their uncle Toshi, Ed, Ali and Bon got in a car and speed up fast enough to cross into the road to Gehenna’s gate. Once they got inside the care kept speeding up until spikes appeared on the road and cut up their wheels. The car halted and if it were not for the safety belts they would have flown into the nearby trees. Ali unbuckles and carefully looks around and gets out of the car.* This is an eerie place! But look! *she points through a forest nearby* There’s a river!

Ed: It’s so damn hot here! *he would step out of the car and look at the wheels.* We’ve been spotted already. Grab your gear and let’s get a move on!

*Bon got out of the car and grabbed whatever he might need. He looked around at the depressing landscape. It was hot, eerily quiet and the auras were disturbing. He carefully summoned his familiar and had it create a barrier that would aid him in not being detected easily.* This wont be an easy task. It takes so much energy just to create this barrier. Yeah, let’s move! I guess we can’t use the car anymore.

*Ali looks over to Bon.* Don’t think about it yet Bon. Ed and I should be able to transmute something and turn it into wheels. Right now, we’ll cover the car and head towards that river. If we walk along it we might find someone!

*Because Ed and Ali seemed so focused and positive. Bon felt slightly at ease as long as he was with them. There was a strange feeling in the atmosphere of dispair which could had taken him over if he wasn’t with Ali and Ed. They walked towards the river being careful not to get too close to the trees. * Crrepy, it’s looks like they ahve eyes and are watching us!

Ed: I agree Bon, those trees are disturbing. Don’t touch them. And let’s be careful, the river doesn’t look like it’s anything like the ones back home. I can see sparks of fire leap up from them once in a while. That water easily ignites.

*She got close to them and whispered.* I’m surprised they haven’t attacked yet. Not that I want anything to attack us but it’s really quiet.

Ed: Ali! *he called her attention* They are using psychological intimidation. I told you, they already know we are here and are nearby. Stay alert! *he told her* They are just studying us with their eyes and taking their time.

*She decided it would be wise to take out one of her magical sword and go ahead.* This will assist us in detecting any danger. Although, it’s obvious there is danger all around us. Anything that comes too close, this will burst with a sacred light and keep them away from us while we escape. I don’t necessarily want to engage in a fight with every demon in here.

Ed: *Edward nods although he wouldn’t mind the fight so much, in this place they would be completely outnumbered if they were found. So they decided caution was the best way to go.* The river, look! *he points* There are faces in agony! It looks like they are calling us! *he cringes*

*Bon grabbed Ed’s arm* Be careful! Don’t walk so close to the edge, you could slip in. *He then noticed lights far up ahead.* Look! A city!

*Ali’s sword began to shake and began to brighten up.* Something is coming! *they all stood ready for what might appear before them.*

*Renzou had been led to the group by the demons of the forest and the howling screams of the river’s victims. He stares at the group and then appears in front of them.* So, you came here? *he didn’t smile a she usually did, his eyes were cold and his stance was threatening. He had gotten possessed again when he had entered the Road to Gehenna’s Gates.* You’re all so foolish! Did you come here to die?
