Sunday Symphonies

  • Sunday Symphonies

=RawSugar Sound Studios, a charming recording studio, lined with exposed brick, vintage microphones, soundproof walls, instruments and other key equipment such as audio interfaces, computers, digital audio workstations (DAWs), and audio monitors.

There’s a control room where audio engineers mix and manipulate the recording, and a machine room for noisier equipment.

Family and friends of different bands enter the RawSugar recording studios, they gather in a room to exchange ideas on lyrics and music, the atmosphere is casual and fun, as silly lyrics sometimes make their debut there.

Everyone comes in full of energy and enthusiasm. They are eager to learn and prove themselves. They often have the freshest ideas and are constantly pushing the others to try new thing.

However, on Sunday’s they aren’t there to record for fans, they are there to record and entertain each other. Just a day to have fun hearing what they come up with. Band exchange members in a crossover of madness and then they showcase their results to each other, sometimes the recordings end up being showcased to the public.

The studio becomes a place of magical notes and spellcasting lyrics where the notes are so vibrant and the energy so bright that the music and lyrics seem to float in midair.

It’s all in a day’s fun and they can go home feeling good vibes as they head back out in the world.

” RawSugar Music Studio, late evening”

Zebrina, clad in a hooded jacket and headphones, hunches over her keyboard, fingers dancing across the keys in a mesmerizing rhythm. The notes she creates are haunting yet beautiful, evoking emotions she herself may not fully comprehend. The studio is dimly lit, save for the glow of her laptop screen displaying the video game she’s paused to compose music.

Suddenly, the door swings open, and in strides Kenji, the lead vocalist of Studdo Ban Gyasshu. His energetic presence clashes with Zebrina’s calm demeanor. “Hey, Zeb! I’ve been looking for you everywhere,” he exclaims, plopping himself onto a nearby couch.

Zebrina barely acknowledges his arrival, her focus solely on the melody taking shape under her hands. “Mmmph,” she murmurs, a hint of a smile playing on her lips as she loses herself in the music.

Kenji watches her intently, a mix of curiosity and concern on his face. He’s grown accustomed to Zebrina’s enigmatic nature, but moments like these make him wonder if she truly understands the impact her art has on others.

“Hey, earth to Zeb!” Kenji snaps his fingers, trying to get her attention. “I have an idea for our next song. We should collaborate on it, yeah?”

Zebrina’s fingers slow, and she finally removes her headphones, gazing at Kenji with an unreadable expression. “Collaboration… yes… hmm…” She trails off, her mind already drifting back to her virtual gaming world.

Kenji sighs, realizing he’ll have to try a different approach. “Never mind, I’ll work on it myself. See you at practice tomorrow, okay?”

Zebrina nods absently, already engrossed in her game once more. As Kenji exits the studio, he can’t help but feel a twinge of unease. Despite her talent and the band’s affection for her, Zebrina’s strange behavior raises questions about the depths of her connection to the world around her.

As the night wears on, Zebrina continues to weave her musical magic, the keys responding to her touch with a life of their own. In this sanctuary of sound, she finds solace and expression, even as the mysteries of her inner world remain shrouded in silence.
