//Level 1 is a possible entry point for anyone new coming to Skyrie. There have been reported dimensional instabilities in the area, and people from all sorts of worlds can emerge from it. This is a recommended starting point for us to get to know how you RP, particularly if your character isn’t suited for dangerous areas like the borderlands.

*Isabelle buys a ticket and boards the first train to Level 1, her hammerspace pockets filled with umbrellas in case it rains when she gets there. She gazes out of the window at the cloudy sky.*
I wonder what kinds of people live in the other dimensions. I do hope they’re friendly!

*As the train approaches, the sky begins to distort and the clouds look all warped. Isabelle exits the station to find herself in a field with grass growing in unusual spirals. Every so often a rift would open up in the air, and a bug or rodent would emerge from it, but no humanoids as of yet. Lady Helena’s lingering purification would cleanse them of any foreign diseases they could be carrying, before they flee into the distance. Isabelle waits just outside the station, trying to figure out the distorted clouds in the meantime.*

*Shadow story begins in another universe. Shadow the Hedgehog is an immortal being created by Professor Gerald Robotnik through genetic engineering as part of an experiment. Shadow was meant to be a therapy or cure for the professor’s daughter, Maria. Maria and Shadow became close but Shadow was traumatized by Maria’s death. Shadow then vowed to keep his promise to her that he would protect the world from danger.

Shadow sometimes suffers amnesia and ends up being used for more shady purposes by other engineers. This angers Shadow when he discovers their plot and his vow to protect the world is temporarily forgotten. He ends up in a war between Eggman, G.U.N., and the Black Arms, an alien army led by Black Doom sometimes siding with different factions until his amnesia clears and he realizes the damage he’s done. G.U.N. finds that Shadow is too unstable and dangerous to keep in their world so they cast him off to another dimension.

That’s when Shadow appears in Skyrieverse in a ball of fire he flashes in through the borderlands but somehow fell through another vortex continued to crash land until he found himself in front of some train tracks. He was battered and exhausted from the strange exodus from his world. He could barely stand. Someone offered him a ticket to paradise. He extended his hand and took the big gold ticket.* This better not be a scam!

*Then walking through the train station he sees the name of the train, Allegro Express. He looks at the ticket to confirm that was the right one. He walks in side and hands over his ticket. He passes out for a long while as the train ride practically rocks him to sleep. It was a few hours before the conductor told everyone that they reached their location. He stretches, he gets out of the train and looks around at everyone making their way to other trains, others had families waiting for them. Shadow wasn’t sure where to go from here.* Damn it! *Shakes his head.* I should have asked questions but I was too tired. He continues to walk until he sees a place so similar to Sonic’s old home that he decides to visit that place.* Now wouldn’t that be a hoot! If Sonic is there, this trip might be worth while. *Takes the connecting train towards Hardly Town, in Skyrie Nebraska.*

A train rumbles along the tracks leading to Level 1, one of the passengers poring over a mass of documents. Alyssa was far more knowledgeable about the theory of multiverses than her cute and fluffy appearance suggested, and at Alyssa’s booth, a stack of notes, printed analysis readings, and a few eyewitness testimonies she’d overheard were strewn about the table. This “Level 1” area the train was headed to was a researcher’s dream, in a constant state of flux and instability because of some oddities in the space-time continuum. Alyssa was fangirling on the inside, excited to check the place out. Once she arrived, she was lucky enough to see someone drop through, while being relatively unhurt.

Cindra was having a very strange day. She had been talking to her roommate about the possible existence of parallel universes, and soon after, she had fallen into darkness. This had happened before, in an adventure that hasn’t been written yet, but this time was different. The place she had fallen was different, more coherent, not a mishmash of many different universes. Then she saw the station. A train station was out here, and an engine was pulling in. Upon investigation, she discovered an alternate version of her roommate. This version was much fluffier, and didn’t seem to be able to take human form, only create the illusion of one. She told Cindra about the place where she was, and about the train’s rates, and a look of fascination filled her eyes. …This was the adventure she’d wanted for the past year. Thanking the new version of her old friend, she got on the train and left the fluffy dragon to do her research.
