🏛️ The Kourai Ruins — Past Events Unfold
In a tranquil clearing, amidst the sweetness of fruit-laden trees, Helena, the seraphim now a cosmic goddess, sat in deep meditation beside her husband Gintoki, emperor of Gehenna. While he plucked fruits for parfaits, Helena was swept into a divine vision—an urgent plea from the goddess Artemis, calling her to witness a tragic fate unraveling in the mortal realm.
A child, abandoned at birth by a disappointed god, was raised by a bear under Artemis’s guidance. She grew into a formidable huntress and came to be known as Atalantia, though her true heritage—princess of Arcadia—remained hidden even from her.
In the village nestled within the Kourai Ruins, Atalantia endured cruelty, jealousy, and exploitation. Though they coveted her strength, the villagers treated her like a tool. The deeper she yearned to understand herself, the more violently they tried to suppress her.
On the eve of her birthday, the village fell into chaos. Marauders raided the land. Amidst the fire and ruin, Atalantia made her escape, bloody and breathless, only to be struck down at the mountain’s edge. It was then that Artemis called to Helena, crying out for divine intervention.
Helena’s eyes burned with celestial light as she tore open a portal, snatching Atalantia away from the brink of death and casting her into the Borderlands, a liminal realm between dimensions. Helena turned to Gintoki with urgent fear in her eyes:
“We have to go to the Borderlands, Gin love! Right now!”
And so they did.
🌌 The Present — Helena and Gintoki Reflect
Now, ages later, seated under twin moons within a crystalline garden atop Gehenna’s highest peak, Helena and Gintoki reflect on that fateful journey. She, radiant in starlight robes, and he, clad in his imperial black and white with his ever-casual smile, reminisce about the moment they found Atalantia—fragile but burning with defiance.
“She looked at us like she’d never been seen before,” Helena murmurs, her voice thick with emotion.
“And didn’t believe we wanted nothing from her,” Gintoki adds, twirling a cherry stem from his parfait.
From a forsaken child to a cherished daughter of gods, Atalantia ArcadianHuntressSugarFang OkumuraSakata De’Ryder was no longer alone. Under Helena and Gintoki’s care, she was given not just refuge—but truth, healing, and a legacy. She reclaimed her identity, not as a weapon, but as a soul with power, purpose, and love.
“We didn’t just save her,” Helena says, looking up at the stars. “She saved us too… in a way. She reminded me why we do what we do.”
“Tch. I just didn’t want our parfaits getting cold,” Gintoki smirks, earning a soft nudge from Helena.
The Kourai Ruins were long behind them. But in every child they rescued, in every broken soul they mended, and every family they built—they carried that moment with them.
Atalantia had become their daughter, not by fate, but by choice.
And love.

The Constellarium, a cathedral of starlight and swirling nebulae, felt both impossibly vast and suffocatingly small. The Almighty’s words resonated within her, a comforting balm against the simmering fear that threatened to consume her.
“Thank you,” she managed, her voice a mere whisper against the backdrop of celestial harmony. “It’s… a lot. To be here. To be… this.” She gestured vaguely at herself, at the shimmering wings that represented both her potential and her burden.
The Almighty nodded, understanding radiating from His eyes. “The weight of divinity is a heavy one, child. But it is not meant to crush you. It is meant to be channeled. To be used to lift others.” He gestured towards a swirling vortex of stars, a miniature galaxy contained within the palm of His hand. “Look. What do you see?”
Helena gazed at the spectacle, her mind temporarily stilled by its breathtaking beauty. “Stars… galaxies… creation, unfolding.”
“And chaos, hidden within the order,” the Almighty added softly. “Destruction necessary for rebirth. Light born from darkness. You are all of these things, Helena. Embrace them. Do not fear them.”
He closed his hand, and the miniature galaxy disappeared. “You speak of being ‘this.’ This…Seraphim. This… potential destroyer. This… goddess. But who are you, Helena? What burns within your heart? What is the song you yearn to sing into the cosmos?”
His words struck a chord deep within her soul. It was a question she had avoided for millennia, burying herself in acts of compassion and protection, hoping to outrun the shadow of her birth.
She thought of Gintoki, her love, her mirror, her rebellious echo. She thought of her children, a testament to the enduring power of love in a universe perpetually at war. She thought of the betrayals, the hunts, the constant struggle to reconcile the opposing forces within her.
“I…” she stammered, the truth struggling to find its way out. “I want… peace. I want to see a world where beings don’t live in constant fear. Where compassion outweighs cruelty. Where growth isn’t born from violence.” The very words felt naive, childish, in the face of the universe’s brutal reality.
The Almighty’s smile deepened. “And how do you intend to achieve this peace, Daughter of Fire and Grace? What is your path?”
Helena looked up, meeting his gaze with newly found resolve. “Not by forcing it. Not by wielding my power to control and dominate. But by nurturing it. By planting seeds of understanding and empathy. By empowering others to choose kindness, even when it’s hard.” She paused, her voice gaining strength. “By showing them that even a being born from chaos can choose to create light.”
The Almighty nodded, pleased. “Sancta Sophia Gaia whispers within you, Helena. The Earth Mother, the embodiment of wisdom and compassion. She is a part of you, waiting to be fully awakened.” He extended a hand towards her. “Embrace her, and you will find the strength to face any challenge. To wield your power with grace and purpose.”
Helena reached out and took His hand. A surge of power coursed through her, not the destructive energy she feared, but a warm, nurturing force that resonated with the very core of her being. She felt Sancta Sophia Gaia stir within her, a gentle giant awakening from a long slumber.
Helena sensed her husband had come to his own resolve in order to allow her to pursue her own. She would smile. Between The Almighty’s words, her husband and family’s actions, Noloty’s presence and her own determination to see this through came clarity.
A wave of calm washed over her. The fear began to recede, replaced by a sense of purpose, a feeling of belonging. She was not just a Seraphim, a child of destruction. She was Helena, the Light of the Sun, a beacon of hope in a universe that desperately needed it.
She looked at the Almighty, her eyes shining with newfound determination. “I’m ready,” she said, her voice clear and strong. “I’m ready to become the goddess I was meant to be.”
