Sukuna’s slash tears across the battlefield with enough force to split buildings apart—yet the moment it nears Helena and the others, the attack distorts. Something unseen intercepts the strike before it can fully land.

    The air ripples.

    A second layer of protection.

Not just Helena Okumura Sakata’s barrier… something guarding her (the phoenix, Jean). Something woven into her very existence.

Sukuna’s eyes narrow slightly as cursed energy crackles around his body. For the first time since arriving in this strange world, he is forced to actually observe instead of simply destroy.

    Interesting.

    Very interesting.

He begins to raise a hand, preparing to force open **Malevolent Shrine** once more, but then, he hears it.

    A voice. Singing.

The sound cuts through the chaos like a blade wrapped in light, reverberating across the Borderlands with unnatural power. It isn’t merely holy energy flooding the battlefield. Beneath the Seraphim resonance lies something far older… ancient… monstrous.

    Something primordial.

    **Tiamat.**

Sukuna slowly lifts his gaze toward the newest arrival as the pressure in the atmosphere shifts yet again.

    Now there are four.

    Four Seraphim standing against him.

His grin falters for only a fraction of a second before widening again, sharper than before. Excitement burns in his eyes, though irritation coils beneath it now like a hidden flame.

The one that unsettles him most is not Lucifera’s wrath… nor Helena Fushiguro’s strange harmony.

    It is **her**. @sweetsugardemon

The one he instinctively recognizes as the center—the origin point around which the others orbit.

    And to make matters worse—

    she carries life within her.

Sukuna’s cursed energy surges instinctively, creating distance between himself and the pregnant Seraphim as caution finally begins to creep beneath his arrogance. His eyes remain locked on her, sharp and wary, trying to understand what exactly she is planning.

    Because she isn’t attacking.

    She’s approaching.

    Slowly.

    Calmly.

As if she doesn’t fear him at all.

    “Don’t approach me, fool.”

His voice cuts across the battlefield like thunder, though this time the threat carries less mockery and more genuine warning.

“Just because the four of you are beautiful doesn’t mean I’m incapable of destroying you.”

Flames coil violently around him as he plants his feet, refusing to yield an inch despite the mounting pressure surrounding him from every direction.

    Frustrating.

    Chaotic.

    Absurd.

    And yet—

Sukuna begins to laugh again, lower this time, rough with exhilaration rather than madness.

    This was no longer slaughter.

    No longer entertainment.

    This was a challenge.

“Yes… this is far more interesting.”

His grin turns feral as his cursed energy explodes outward once more, shaking the ruined Borderlands beneath his feet.

    “Come then, Seraphim.”

His eyes gleam with violent delight.

“Show me how long it takes before your wings break.”

Sukuna’s smile fades—not completely, but enough to show something new. Recognition.

His gaze shifts between all three.

    Different.

    But not separate.

“So… this is what you are.”

A slow breath leaves him, almost impressed.

    “You didn’t just bring me a fight…”

    His grin returns—wider now.

    “You brought me something interesting.”

His stance settles again, energy rising.

    “Three of you…”

    A quiet chuckle.

    “Or…”

    His eyes sharpen.

    “one… broken into pieces.”

    A pause.

    “Come, then.”

    His grin turns feral.

“Show me what you really are.”

    Sukuna laughs—loud, genuine, thrilled.

    “Yes…”

Cursed energy erupts around him, violent and overwhelming.

    “Finally.”

His stance lowers, anticipation sharpening every movement.

    “A fight worth my time.”

His hands shift—energy gathering as the air begins to distort around him.

    **Malevolent Shrine** begins to form—

is grin shifts—less playful now, more focused.

Sukuna blocks the first strike effortlessly—then the second comes faster.

    And the third—

A shallow cut opens along his arm.

    “You’re not human…”

His eyes narrow slightly, studying her.

    “Not even a sorcerer.”

    A pause.

    “What are you?”

Sukuna’s grin widens. He grips Helena tighter as the situation has become more interesting.

    “Ah… I see now.”

His gaze shifts between them, sharp and calculating.

    “Not one…”

    A quiet chuckle.

    “But two.”

Flames curl around his body, responding to the spike in his excitement.

    “One light.”

His eyes settle briefly on Helena.

    “One dark.”

    Then Lucifera.

    “How poetic.”

He rolls his shoulders slightly, energy building around him.

“Let’s see which of you burns first.”

Sukuna’s grip tightens—not enough to injure, but enough to remind her of the difference in raw power.

    “How amusing…”

His voice drops, almost thoughtful now.

“Most would be begging by now. Crying. Breaking.”

He leans closer, his breath warm against her ear.

    “But you…”

A pause as his eyes narrow slightly.

    “…you’re different.”

Sukuna goes still for half a second—then laughs, quieter this time, but far more dangerous.

    “A bold one…”

In the blink of an eye, he’s behind her.

His hand clamps around her upper arm, grip firm and unyielding. The heat of his body presses close as he leans down slightly, his presence suffocating in the empty street.

“You think you can walk away from me? So answer me, what’s a beautiful woman like you doing walking through chaos like this? Have you no fear?”

Silence follows after hearing her question.

Even the flames seem to hesitate.

Sukuna’s grin doesn’t disappear—but it shifts, sharpening with interest rather than cruelty. He straightens slightly, attention narrowing fully onto her for the first time.

    “…A film?”

He lets out a short, disbelieving scoff, stepping off his perch with impossible grace. The ground cracks beneath his landing, but his gaze never leaves her.

“What a pathetic way to describe this.”

He begins walking toward her, slow and deliberate.

    “This is not a performance.”

    His voice lowers.

    “It’s destruction.”

His eyes roam over her—not lazily, but with intent now, as if trying to unravel what she is beneath the surface.

    “And yet…”

    A faint smirk returns.

    “You’re not afraid.”

Ugh! How irksome! Fine! I’ll introduce myself but if you better bow low before me, unless you have some kind of deathwish! I’m Sukuna Ryomen, some people annoyingly call me Sakuna… you know who you are! You’ll pay for this! I am the powerful King of Curses and I’m from the Jujutsu World. I ended up here and I intend to make you all tremble beneath my feet!
