Geralt gives Odysseus a hard look. So you need me to take care of you and you want me to be around to continue your work should you cease to be around. And you also want to use me to convince Rose and her group to join you. Geralt leans against the wall behind him. Is this illness the reason you were always so odd around the group? You would always leave us. It made it hard to trust you. So this is shat he has been hiding all along. He’s a sick man. He is trying to keep alive some work he has been doing for a long time now. It has now become his life-long work. It’s impressive, but it also brings up questions about who he really is and what he has done and what he has been working on all this time. But hey, I’m finally getting answers to questions I and.. Rose, have ad on our minds. And he could even lead me to her. This may just be worth it.

Raven observed what others had said about alchemy and had noticed how Tony reacted to the mention of alchemy. Alchemy seems to have a bad rep. I guess it isn’t the best of magic. I’ll join the practice and I’ll observe, I don’t want to lose any limbs. Raven resolutely walked to the man who is supposedly teaching alchemy. He then mumbled Let’s get this going. Raven grasped his family crest for a second then said a few phrases in Elven. I may be in the future, but the magic and life force of the Elves still lives. With the few phrases said, Raven’s senses became attuned to everything around him. He could sense the emotions of those around him, he could feel the earth resonating with life. He could even sense the spirits of Elves long-gone surrounding him. He said in a hushed voice so no one could hear him. I will make it back to you. I promise. As a single tear rolled down his cheek, he looked about, ready to take on whatever was to come.

Geralt looks at Odysseus, wondering whether or not he should believe him. He could be telling the truth.. He could lead me right to Rose. But wait.. Why did you follow me? Out of everyone else, why me? You have Jack and Kika, why aren’t you with them? Geralt gets off of the ground while making sure to keep an eye on Odysseus. This is too good to be true. But he tracked me down.. Maybe he could track Rose down as well. What do you want with me in particular?

Geralt jumps and spins around, falling in the process. What the hell?! Geralt realizes that this is the real Odysseus and he grabs the nearest weapon, pointing it at Odysseus. Have you been following me?? Geralt then realizes that if Odysseus wanted to he could’ve subdued him without revealing himself. As he lowers the weapon, he asks Odysseus Where did you come from? Are you here to take me back to Jack, Kika, and Apollo? If so, I’m not going back. I’m looking for Rose, and nothing is going to stop me from finding her. I can’t give up on her, Ody. I need her in my life. How did he even track me down? Where did he come from?

Geralt eventually makes it to the place he first met everyone.. And her. Geralt walks in and finds the place looking just he remembered it. He opens the secret passage and enters to find the armory still stocked. If I’m gonna do anything I’ll need this. Geralt then hears footsteps and turns around to find Odysseus standing in the doorway. No, this has to be a figment of my imagination. Geralt ignores him and proceeds to take stock of the armory. I’m gonna have to go and get some food, clean this place up. There is a lot of work that needs to be done.

Geralt wasn’t present when Rose/Katherine, Malice, and Heiklm had left. In those final days he had seemed to miss everything that happened. He never saw any of it. He came around right when the portal closed, sealing him off from Rose. He couldn’t stay without her. Rose…. She was always on his mind.  Rose…. He found himself wandering with only a single goal. Rose…. He had to find her. Rose…. He tried and tried to find any trails at all that could end at his destination. Rose…. Was there a trail that could actually lead to her? Rose…. He abandoned the rest of the group so he could go after her. Rose…. He had left Kika. Rose…. He tried so hard to protect her. Rose…. He wonders why everything fell apart. Rose…. He never even took a moment to ask why she left. Rose…. Once he learned she left, he packed up what he had and left without explanation.

He tried to follow her, but how can one follow someone once they step through a fucking portal? This wasn’t Geralt’s specialty, reconnaissance and shooting were what he was good at, not tracking down other people. Geralt found himself holed up inside of some long-forgotten building, alone. He was the kind of person who got lonely very easily. How was he supposed to survive like this? He had grown accustomed to company. He let out a howl, and as he did so, rabid dogs showed up ready to kill for the taste of fresh meat. Why is my life going to hell. As Geralt pulled his knife out the dogs attacked without mercy. The bit him, but he brutally slashed and killed the dogs. My own kind, even.. Life is hell, isn’t it? Why don’t I just kill myself? Or I could join the OGA, it’d be like killing myself. They’d probably lock me back up in a lab. Or skin me alive and turn my pelt into a jacket for Ozymandius. Geralt left the dead dogs where they lie, he wasn’t going to go anywhere near that meat. Guess I’d better start my journey. No use in standing around here. Should I go back to Kika and Jack? Why does abandonment always happen to me…. Before Geralt left the building, he let out a final howl that embodied all of his sorrow that tore across the air and into space as this howl was one affected by his abilities. As he stopped howling he wiped a tear from his eye and shifted the pack on his back. He then said to himself Well, I guess it’s time to get going. Let’s see if I can find an old ship that can still fly.

Flash forward in time, Geralt is now arriving on Earth, alone with nowhere to go. He gets out of the rust-bucket he found and finds a lot-lizard trying to get it in with some of the higher class fliers out here. He ignores them as he goes to the place he first met everybody. Maybe I can use that place as a home, seeing that I don’t have one. As Geralt huffs he starts his walk down memory lane, the streets of Earth being all-too familiar with memories of his youth.

Geralt looks to Odysseus, still surprised by the alarm. Ah, alright Ody. Anything happen while I was asleep, on the floor?

Geralt finally wakes up hours after the team was teleported to their current location. He comes to, dazed and confused. He looks around and finds himself on the floor of an old run-down lab. I must be dreaming. I don’t remember sleeping here, and even if I did, I don’t think my team would just leave me here on the floor like this. Once he got up, he took n more of his surroundings and found many empty bottles of alcohol scattered all over the place and Jack-sized dents in cabinets. Nope, they left me on the floor. Great. Team? Guys, where are you? Geralt hears a commotion down a long hallway, it almost sounds like wind. Geralt walks down the hallway, finding many roroms, some of which having hints at writing long faded away. Vey few had what seemed like new writing. On closer inspection of the writing he found the names of his comrades. Is this our new HQ? Geralt continued his walk down the hallway until he reached the room with the sound of wind. He could hear counting through the wind, and it sounded like Apollo. If he is in hear doing something to cause this, I think it’d be better for me to not enter. Since everyone else has picked rooms, I might as well find one. Geralt walked back down the hallway, looking into empty rooms as he did. In some he found only ruin, in some were the personal belongings of members of The Keepers long-gone. In a few he found dried blood stains. About halfway down the hallway he found a room with wood flooring and a shag carpet with. Whoever had this room had really good taste. I think I’ll claim this one. He walked back out of the room to write his name on the panel and saw Rose coming down the hallway humming something. Geralt inscribed his name on the panel and then threw his weapons and munitions on the bed. He then walked back out to greet Rose. Hello there Rose. Do you happen to have any clue where we are? Or how we came to be here?

Geralt eeped as Parapara bit his tail and he jumped up, looking at the demon and then to Malice. Geralt looks at her with a look of what the hell. You don’t even remember who she is!! What?! But ow, my tail.. Damned demon. Geralt sits back down beside Rose and pulls his tail closer to him to protect it from the demon.

Raven attentively listens to Haru as he alchemy and survival skills are the options. I already know how to survive in the wilderness, my situation required me to learn or die. Raven raises his hand and says Alchemy is the better of the two choices. Learning new magics will be useful.

Geralt is still standing at the cave entrance, amazed at how fast Odysseus and Apollo left without him. Well then… Geralt decides to go back into the cave and sit beside Rose, his tail curling around her in hopes of trying to keep her warm.

Geralt meets up with Odysseus and then Apollo joins up as well. Geralt looks to Odysseus and says I’m ready to go, let’s do this. Geralt pulls his bolt-action rifle and gets ready for the journey. Let’s make this fast. Back torwards the direction of the ship off that away. Geralt points in the direction that Apollo’s arcing tracks left. Apollo, you ready?

Thank you Mr Q. Raven sits back down and observes the rest of the class to see what he should do. He then grasps his family crest and straightens the bow on his back.
