All of you were completely terrific. I made the first chapter to see which people who joined would participate or not. Now with the new recruits, Raven, Malice, Natalie, and HalfMe-HalfYou. Apollo V. And Odysseus are old friends of mine, and this OC RP has actually been going on for around four years. All of you are terrific. I’m closing the Open Join so it’s a request now, and let’s get on to Chapter Two! RP in here.

Jack and the gang were in a strange laboratory, old and desecrated with cracked marble walls and overgrown vines, water seeping through the cracks slowly.

“Old lab of mine. Sorry for roughly teleporting you all here. I think when I hit the ground I accidentally turned it on. I have all of you down for location on my watch because I made sure if we ever had to escape, we could have a one-time teleport to this lab.” Jack said.

“Since I’ve been knocked out cold most of the time, first from getting stabbed, then blown out of a space station, into space, and then into an engine, and then blown up from a guy who can do that with his mind, can I ask what the fuck’s going on?! Who’s the Daomer lady?” Jack said, pointing at the new girl.

Apollo looked at Malice. “That’s Malice.”

Odysseus wakes up in the laboratory, and looks at Jack. “That teleport was risky, Jack. We could have been tracked.” Odysseus checks a monitor to confirm the multi-wave form pattern oscillation, and then glances at his sleeping companions around him, wavering on Geralt. “Well, at least it’s warm. Is this the orbital lab I designed for you, Jack? You redecorated… But surely we are close to Iffrozar. We need to stay on the move.”

“Actually, this is the first designated Keepers lab I made around two-hundred years ago. I abandoned it after Nathan bombed us, and killed Seth. Poor guy.” Jack said.

“No one tracked us. It’s impossibly difficult to travel the length of half a galaxy without being tracked, so this only worked once.” Jack said.

“We should sleep here for the night. I think I have a few spare rooms. Follow me.” Jack walked over to a gray panel on the wall, touching it. A door opened up, and an elevator appeared. Jack got in the elevator, beckoning them to come in.

“This goes deep underground. We’re on Chiron-5, by the way. Similar to Earth in habitat, with less pollution and fresh air. We’re miles underground.”

Odysseus raises an eyebrow. “Do not underestimate the OGA. The actual path cannot be tracked, but the amount of energy needed to cross that distance is enormous, and most certainly can be tracked. But I checked the oscillation. We should be safe.”

Apollo nodded at Chiron-5. He knew the planet inside and out. “Nice house. Any place we Ascendii can fly about and not get wingboredomitis?”

“I’ll be getting my rest. Got any books? And tea?”

Apollo immediately flew into the kitchen, coming out with a plate of sandwiches about 10 seconds later. “I added tea leaves this time!” Apollo threw the plate of sandwiches on Ody and zoomed out the door.

The elevator downstairs stopped to reveal a long hallway with large floor-to-ceiling metal walls that opened with hand panels to reveal apartment-sized rooms.

“There’s about fifty of the rooms. Everyone write your name on the one you want. Kitchen’s down the hallway, and there’s a gym on the far right.” Jack mumbled.

“Wait, hold on. I need to clean out some of these rooms before you go in.”

Apollo immediately flew past Jack and chose the largest room. “I can help clean!” Within five minutes, the entire room was void of all furniture, lamps, anything. Apollo had even ripped the toilet out. “Finally! WINGSPACE!!!”

Jack stared at all of the toilet paper flung around the hallways. He sighed deeply.

“Let me clean out the apartments. The old Keeper’s stuff is still in here.” Jack opened one of them, going inside.

Apollo apologized and asked again. “Can I help you clean out stuff?”

Jack groaned quietly as the wall-door opened, revealing the apartment. It was once beautiful, with hardwood stained floors and assorted velvet furniture, now covered in scratches and chips, the bed sad and empty, the entire apartment lined with dust. He walked over to the wall next to the bed, lined with old photographs. Jack spotted himself, younger and happier, without the deep circles under his eyes and beaming next to an Ascendii girl. More photos of him and what looked like Odysseus, only somewhat younger and resembling Jack in appearance. There was a photo of a white-haired boy with pointed teeth smiling next to Jack, who seemed to be passed out on the velvet couch in the room. He turned around, walking over to an old record player. He put the tip on the disc and pressed play, and an old song from centuries upon centuries ago played. He smiled at the strange music with synthesizer and a strange blaring noise, and turned it off. He turned around, his eyes red.

“This is my room.” He sighed.
