Far from the neon grime of District 13, Lord Satan’s boots crunched across frost-hardened earth as he emerged through the swirling mists of the Galactose Shadowlands. The wind screamed through dead trees and broken statues, carrying with it the rustle of crows wheeling around the crumbling spires of the *Cathedral of Satan*.
The gothic ruin rose out of the desolation like the bones of a fallen god — black stone walls cracked and bleeding ivy, grotesque gargoyles perched with chipped fangs bared to the void. A single iron door, half-rotted and hanging askew, marked the threshold between the forgotten world and the whispered blasphemies within.
A flick of his clawed fingers — the door creaked open, shrieking on rusted hinges as Satan stepped inside.
Inside, the **Satanic Shadow Sect** waited. Figures in tattered black robes knelt in the labyrinthine nave, their murmured chants swirling like smoke through the frigid air. Shattered stained-glass windows bled fractured moonlight over the warped pews, the floor slick with damp moss and the faint coppery tang of centuries-old blood sacrifices. Shadows danced wildly across stone pillars carved with forbidden sigils.
At the altar, a flickering ring of black candles cast trembling light on an elaborate, bone-carved pulpit.
The cultists stirred as they recognized the towering silhouette — but they didn’t know *who* they truly faced. Tonight, Satan was not the exiled father forced into mortal shadows by his daughter’s wrath — tonight, he was the High Priest Kuroyassha, ancient shepherd of this nest of blasphemers.
A hooded acolyte stepped forward, prostrating himself in the dust.
**Acolyte (hushed, reverent):**
“Lord Kuroyassha… we offer our flesh, our coin, our sins. Command us — and we shall set your darkness loose upon this world once more.”
Satan’s crimson eyes glowed like coals beneath the heavy cowl he now wore. He spread his black wings wide — an omen of dread, a promise of ruin — then folded them neatly behind him, his lips curling into a wickedly controlled smile.
**Satan (deep, smooth, dripping false piety):**
“Bring me your offerings, my loyal wolves. The city up there is rotting with fresh prey — we’ll move through it like shadows no one sees coming. I need a seat right in the filthiest heart of it all… and your tribute’s gonna buy it.”
Gold coins, blood-soaked banknotes, and jewels glittered as the Sect’s members crawled forward on their knees, dropping their tributes at his clawed feet. Every whispered vow of cruelty and torment echoed like distant thunder through the Cathedral’s decaying vaults.
Soon, he would stand atop his own fortress in District 13 — a penthouse paid for by the same fools who thought themselves his chosen disciples. And when the time was right, he’d extend his influence through the slums, the clubs, the broken faithful.
Satan turned from the flickering altar, the hush of dread and devotion swirling around him like a cloak. In the distance, a crow’s shriek split the midnight hush as the Cathedral’s rotting doors slammed shut behind him.

MemberJune 14, 2025 at 10:02 pm in reply to: As Above, So Below (Cycle of Revolution)When LuzHela stepped back, her amber eyes fixed on him—not with defiance, but with a gaze so tender it nearly unsettled him. There was no hatred in her expression, not even fear. If anything, he saw pity… and that struck him deeper than any blade forged in heaven or hell. Her words echoed in his mind, not about his rule, but about how his own daughter might see him—not as a ruler to be revered, but as a relic to be ashamed of.
It jarred him.
Had he worn the mantle of the adversary for so long that he’d become nothing more than the role? A shadow—never truly present, never truly listening? While his brothers, his enemies, even his bride had walked among mortals, touched their world, tasted its paradoxes—he had remained rigid, unchanging, fixed like stone in fire. And in doing so, perhaps, blind.
Satan, who had always considered himself the antithesis of the divine—who existed to loathe and destroy what others called good—suddenly found himself questioning a truth he’d never dared to touch.
*Why?*
Why did he hate so purely? So absolutely?
For once, he didn’t growl. He didn’t thunder. Instead, his gaze turned—first to Lucifer, then to Belial, and finally to Samael. His brothers had all returned from the mortal world not weaker, but wiser—gaining things he hadn’t. Strength, yes—but something else too. A thing he could not yet name. Was it… *change*? Or something even more alien to him?
He had been told—by the heavens, by prophecy, by fate—that he was meant to represent evil. But perhaps it was never about *being* evil. Perhaps it was about *warning* against it. To be a terror that forced others to choose the light. Not a breeder of darkness, but a living, roaring signpost at the edge of ruin.
A rare sigh escaped him, sharp and bitter.
“I was supposed to send these pests scurrying toward Heaven,” he muttered, half to himself. “Not let them overrun Gehenna like vermin. No wonder I can’t breathe.”
In his rebellion, he had wanted to defy the divine—but he had once also dreamed of embodying something more nuanced: a symbol of indulgence over abstinence, of unfiltered reality over sacred delusion, of wisdom that had paid a price. He had wanted to be fearsome—not hated. Admired—not as a saint, but as a sovereign of vengeance and the judge of the wicked.
Instead, he had become a tyrant drowning in his own excess. A king with no mirror until now.
His eyes returned to his brothers.
“I don’t want you three looking at me like that,” he said, voice low, grave. Then turning to LuzHela, “And you… You are more important to me than you realize. I do not want Zehellenia—*my daughter*—to look at her father and feel shame.”
There was a long silence. Not the kind that falls when words fail, but the kind that marks a soul being reshaped.
“I’m willing to listen,” he said finally, each word heavy with pride being slowly, painfully peeled back. “I may not agree—but I’ll listen.”
Of course, this was Satan. Beneath the surface, the strategist stirred. He would listen—but also observe. Measure. Analyze. If there was an advantage to be gained—power to be taken, especially from Helena—he would not ignore it.
But for the first time in countless eons…
He quieted that voice.
Just for now.
For once, he would actually listen.
It was then, that he felt the chains slowly release him.

MemberMay 30, 2025 at 8:04 am in reply to: As Above, So Below (Cycle of Revolution)The blasted landscape of Hell, shortly after Lucifer’s wave of blue flame subsides. Belial stands smugly beside Lucifer, who looks weary but resolved. Satan is still chained, but his eyes betray a turmoil unseen until this moment. The assembled demons, a roiling mass of shadows and horns, watch with a mixture of fear and morbid curiosity.
The taste of ash and something far more bitter coats his tongue. The chains… they still bind him, but they feel different. Lucifer said it was the agony of confronting his sins. “Sins? Is that what he calls my defiance? My unwavering commitment to the order of this realm?” Are words swirling through Satan’s mind.
He look up at Lucifer, his face a mask of… pity? Disgust wells within Satan, far more potent than any pain the flames inflicted. “He dares to pity me?”
“You… you tortured me with truth?” Satan rasps, his voice raw and unsteady. Doubt gnaws at the edges of his resolve, a sensation he haven’t experienced in millennia. The faces of the demons in the crowd are blurred. The crowd is dead silent.
Belial’s voice cuts through the heavy quiet. “Are you quite alright, Satan? You seem… uncharacteristically subdued.”
Satan ignores him, focusing solely on Lucifer. “What… what did you… show me?” Each word is a struggle, ripped from a throat that feels constricted.
A memory flickers: a human soul, writhing in torment, not because of Satan’s machinations, but because of their own choices, their own greed, hate, betrayal. And another, and another – the echoes of his words about responsibility bouncing around Satan’s skull.
(Turning to Belial without turning my head) “I will give you credit, you are a master of your craft and it looks like you achieved your aim. You have dethroned a king” Making it seem like Belial has an ulterior motive to throw Lucifer off. But it doens’t seem to work.
Lucifer sighs. “I showed you the truth, Satan. The potential that lies within humanity, and the darkness they are so willing to embrace on their own. Your role was never to force damnation, but to guide them towards the consequences of their choices. You were meant to be a mirror to their own souls, not the architect of their suffering.”
The absurdity of it all nearly breaks Satan. “A mirror? You think I, the Morning Star’s most loyal brother, am best suited to be a reflection? A guide?” Spits on the ground, the gesture weak and pathetic given his confinement. “I am the King of Lies! The Shadow of God! The Accuser! I revel in their pain! I…”
Satan’s voice falters. He see another flash in the back of his mind… endless, pointless suffering, a cycle of torment for the sake of torment, serving no grand purpose, no cosmic balance. Only… agony.
Belial, ever the opportunist, steps forward, his voice dripping with false concern. “Perhaps our dear brother requires some… extended time to reflect on his shortcomings. We can certainly arrange accommodations. After all we have the rest of eternity to spend in each other’s company.”
Satan’s eyes flick back to Lucifer, a desperate, pleading look hidden beneath layers of pride and defiance. “Is this your new order, then? Replacing me? Is this your grand vision for Hell? Then I will stay this path, I will not yield.”
Then from a domain in Yggdrasil where Satan and LuzHela constantly fight in disagreement over souls, an unexpected guest. His daughter, Zehellenia and right behind her stood LuzHela. Zehellenia looking at him fiercly while LuzHela looks away. Satan had refused to answer anything about them because his original plan was simple, obtaining power through them but they stood before him and he questioned himself further.
Lucifer continues to attempt to further reason with Satan, offering a different role and perspective and a chance to talk to his family. Satan didn’t even want to hear the word “family” and looks away only saying, “Take care of them for me.”
Satan had so long been the adversary that he couldn’t fathom being anything other. His thoughts raced as Lucifer and Belial pulled him away somewhere more private where he, his brothers, his woman and his daughter would continue to exchange some harsh words and realities with him.
But words alone weren’t enough, Satan although he had moments that seemed like empathy, it was a mask for evil. Evil that just wasn’t ready to play along. @morningstarchild @hexenfyre

He realized there was something else driving him to be around Helena. And Satan’s interest in Dio sparked. He wouldn’t let his brother Lucifer dispose of him.* Stop messing with his soul brother. That one is meant to live among us in the depths of hell but he’s still too young. Satan jumped to the window as well. He repressed the memories of that night in both Jonathan and Dio and looked at Helena.* You may not understand how the world works. But you cannot continue to impose yourself here. *he looks at Lucifer and whispers to him.* You must get her out of this era and back to where she came from. This is not her place! *he then disappeared*

But he was almost ghostly in appearance. He watched amused and then wondered what hi brother Lucifer would do.* So brother Lucifer, if she does destroy Dio, it wont be Dio alone that will be eradicated, she will eradicate a large area which will include the one she is trying to protect. *he laughs with malevolence.* You do realize, she will also go insane if she goes through with this? What will you do? *He was curious if his brother would allow it to go on or if he would interfere. This would allow him to understand what Lucifer’s obsession with Helena was. He still could not comprehend his interest in her although he did feel some sort of interest in her himself, he was more interested in the powers he could gain by having her at his disposal.*

His huge and hideous bat-like wings were the ones that created a huge cocoon around his brother Kin.* Belial! Welcome home! I see you’re in your most original form. Gomen, this time, you will remain with me. *Chains of despair started to crawl up Belial’s legs. The demonic figure looked at Michael. He didn’t care that looking at this creature made his eyes burn.* So you came for her. *He looked around and noticed that his favorites Jin and Hild were safe. He also shielded them from the light of the archangel.* You win this time Michael, but this one here is mine. To take him out of my grasp would mean his true death. *he grins and then immediately disappears into the inferno with Kintoki.*

Let her fend for herself. *he then gave Lord Amon very specific instructions about his orders and sent him away. He got up from his throne and headed deeper into Inferno.*

MemberJuly 24, 2017 at 3:25 am in reply to: Brothers Fight beyond the Road to Gehenna's Gates."*Satan’s demonic roar could be heard through the two demon realms as Kurotoki Satan was hit with his brother’s demonic power. The pressure had pushed him into one of the scorching hot rocks of the Inferno, Satan felt his skin peel as he tried to push himself off the wall. He growled in anger and frustration.* Devil Jin, you fool! Get up!! We have to rebuild the gates of the Inferno immediately! *he hated the responsibility that Lucifer Gin had left him with.* He was not even at full power and he was able to do all this damage!! Damn it! Had I been able to contain them both, I would have been able to use him to do my bidding while I manipulated Helena’s powers. Those two are too powerful for their own good! *he then grins* Guess I’ll have to recalculate my plans! *He stood before the gates and using his dark demonic powers began to lift each piece as he restored and enforced the gates to Inferno. At the same time, to cause confusion and not allow demons to escape he released a chaotic tornado within the inferno. Then stood outside the gates himself as he went into The Road to Gehenna’s Gates.* That hurt Lucifer brother, but now I know that you and brother Belial can still be of use to me.

Kin and Jin’s fists colliding propelled him backwards. Satan Kurotoki smiles.* That’s what I’m talking about! Why don’t you give in brother Lucifer, I can feel your physical body giving up on you. And yet you insist on remaining in that form. You’re become just like those boring human monkeys.* Devil Jin, you may do as you please! It seems brother Belial doesn’t mind playing with you while I focus on punishing this weakling. *He focuses on Gin.* You’re never going back brothers! You’ll remain here with me. I will deplete you of your powers and become the sole ruler of the universe, once I get my hands on Helena. *his grin more sinister than usual. He opens the palm of his hand and points it at Gin.* I want you to suffer you fool! You think you can leave here and that there would be no consequences! *a black orb began to increase in size. Within the orb was the power of 1000 tornadoes ready to rip Gin to pieces.* Let’s start with something small and increase your punishment as your flesh is ripped away from your body, brother Lucifer! *he can’t help but laugh feeling a sense of triumph.*

But he was barely holding on to his two victims. He continued to unleash chains from his hands until he felt the bodies struggle, to his surprise he felt more pain and noticed the too was being propelled through the gates. The brothers all fought in mid air as they flew into the passage that lead from the Gates of Gehenna right into Gehenna itself. Then the gates closed. Several demons had gather outside the gates. They had seen the fight. But they were sent away by the demon gate guardians who made sure no one entered or left without permission from Kuro Satan himself.*

He was already having trouble keeping up with Gintoki’s erratic sword fighting style and then Kintoki came at him too. His own black freezing winds used against him. It all happened at such speed that he was only able to move his face sideways to avoid getting hit square center. Then he felt Kin’s punch to his chest and he dropped his sword. He grunts and was being pushed past the gates in agonizing pain. His wings sprung out of his back to resist the wind. He couldn’t undo what he summoned because he was out of air. He extended his claws to grab on to Gin and Kin allowing these to seek their flesh, no matter where they hit and his chains appeared once more wrapping around their necks. He was not about to let his own wind ruin his chance at taking them home again. Kuro Satan was in pain and the door’s of the abyss opened wide to take all three of them in.*

He realized he would have to subdue the two who were equal in demonic flames as he was.* I summon the return of the black freezing winds. *he chanted as he held his left arm up to the dark skies. *He held his own sword in his right hand, not taking his eyes off his brothers. A strange cold wind blew against the backs of Gintoki and Kintoki and closer towards Kuro Satan.* No need to stand so far way! If you want a fight! You shall have one! Perhaps I don’t need you.
