Celest is pretty relaxed angel who likes to spend her time doing the things she loves. She works hard and tries to look her best when around her superiors but around others she wears whatever she wants and is a bit more lazy. In her free time she likes to cross dress and play games with her friends. Once you become her friend she’ll be stuck on you like honey.

Background:
Celest Ramire is a pretty young angel who has been in war a couple times and enjoyed the ability of being able to fight to her limits but knowing how much destruction and deaths the war has caused has made her feel bad for participating in it. During war she has lost a lot of close friends and is pretty lonely because of it and so distracts herself in a lot of work until she is assign for the mission of peace with the demons. Celest wants to work forward towards peace but has some fear towards demons and hopes to get over it.

Artemis is very childish and tries enjoying what her life had to offer. Artemis is very energetic and a child at heart, doing all she could to make anothers life more enjoyable. She is very quirky and becomes a annoyance after a while to a lot of people.

Background
Artemis had came from a very poor family, she spent a lot of her time writing books, and selling everything she created to earn money. Even selling her clothes that she handmade from the sheep she had as pets in her backyard. She lived everyday working hard and having a lot of scars on her hands from the needle work and threading. Artemis didn’t have a proper education, but she was taught by her mother and father, and she helped teach her little brother.

Weapons – No weapon, but does have a annoyance to harm someone

Artemis is very smart, but doesn’t make up anything with speed nor strength. She also is distracted easily, and is often going off topic or forgetting what she was told easily.

Name: Marlette Berdoza

Species:Demon

Physical Description: A “classy” business woman dressed in only the sharpest of clothing. She wears an entirely black pant suit, along with black flats. Her makeup is done to suit her pale complexion and green eyes, her straight black hair is also let loose. She is ready for an average day of work, however, behind her back she has six moving arms of various sizes and skin tones. Almost taking the shape of wings.

Personality: Ruthless, conniving, and manipulative; Marlette has only managed to keep her wits about her in hell by doing the most manipulative thing she can, making friends. Throughout her afterlife experience she has found that the quickest way to gain power and strength is through friendship. So she fakes kindness to grow in power;however,lately it seems she is behaving kindly for no reason. Is it possible she has a soft side or is she in it for the long con ?

Background: Marlette, a ruthless business woman who stepped on the backs of an exasperating amount of people to get to the position she was in. She used her family for their money and support, then abandoned them when she got what she wanted, just like countless other people. When she died she was punished for her profit off of others misery and was forced to carry the weight of all the people she had used, and thus arms were added to her back as a representation of her sin. She has since made friends with the arms and can fully control them or at least tell them what to do. She has joined the truce cause for access to more powerful friends and an overall increase in social rankings if all goes well, but who knows maybe she can gain the favor of hell through other means.

Weapons: None.

Powers: She has the power of suggestion, just by saying something someone is more inclined to do it. (EX. Marlette:”Kiss that frog”

Limiter: Her powers of suggestion aren’t that strong and don’t normally apply to people or creatures with strong wills. Her powers mostly apply to animals, plants or inanimate objects, but don’t always work. Also she is carrying around 3 sets of arms which is fairly heavy for someone of her size so she is slower and more clumsy, her arms don’t give her any advantages like super strength. They’re just regular arms, and would only come in handy if she needs to carry multiple things.

(I apologize for not doing so earlier, these last weeks have been hectic. I was also hoping for a balanced set of characters before beginning but I’ll begin nonetheless)

Name: Jaya

Species: Demon

Physical description: Jaya has brown skin with cleanly shaven facial hair and short curly hair. He has pink eyes with blue and purple sparks in it that rotate slowly. He has a matured lightly muscled body as he is not too much of a fighter despite being a warrior.

Personality: An open minded individual who tends to have their quiet moments, often seen as calculating or the fun one to make jokes in any situation, especially flirtatious ones or crude jokes of death. Jaya is not dumb however and observes people more than they notice, always cautious as he’s always seemingly in a fight or flight mode due to inbred instincts, this causes him to constantly shift about, even though he is a seemingly chill individual.

Background: Born a demon unlike many others, Jaya has grown into his own personality in the demon world, in a way less corrupt than others as he did not become a demon through sin, yet in a way worse because he grew up with demons, having looser morals than others. Jaya was trained since day one to become a soldier for hell being forced to learn how to survive in an eat or be eaten world, after all he was put in the plane between Lust and Gluttony, this cause him to run frequently when young and learn secret passageways as well as learning how to travel to earth to escape.  But traveling through Earth has created a loose moral structure and understanding that other demons lack to see. Living longer than most others due to being born a demon, Jaya matured into his position in the army and in the demon realm, learning how to observe others and know their weakness and how to use his then smaller body against them until he became a leading general, more capable of leading and making decisions in war time than others.

Weapons: Often using knives due to the love of the taste of blood and flesh. There are several knives around Jaya’s person.

Powers: Jaya’s eyes can see other’s aura and know how they will react in the next few seconds, vital for war time unless they’re quicker than him. Jaya can also make things explode in a ten meter radius.

Limiter: Jaya can only get a feel of a person’s aura now, only just barely knowing them, leaving him vulnerable to betrayals. Jaya can only make minor explosions within a three meter radius now, the explosions similar to mere humans firecrackers instead of deadly mines as it was before. Of course Jaya’s senses are duller now, still fast and strong compared to a human but not by too much as he isn’t that fast nor strong, usually preferring tactics. He is reduced to being forced into his human form as well now.

Name: Caligula Decimus, although sometimes goes by his pseudonym of Jack Hemingway.

Species: Demon

Description: Tall at 6’3″ and built sturdily and muscularly with broad shoulders and a wide chest. Usually, he wears a cheap black suit which is always wrinkled with a slightly wilted rose in the lapel. He wears small, square glasses with small lenses. He has a bit of stubble on his face and black, unkempt, slicked back hair with black curved horns coming from the top of his head. He has thin, sharp black eyes with stilted pupils.

Personality: Despite his size, Caligula is a fairly nice guy, sort of like a teddy bear, big and strong yet gentle personality-wise, a pacifist. He has the persona of a cliche disheveled novelist, coffee, cigarettes, whiskey, the whole lot. He’s more or less the intellectual type, very level-headed and logical under typical circumstances. When he’s especially tired, he can be cranky at times, although is only dangerously so when late on his deadlines. He also acts very solitary when working on a project, shutting himself up somewhere with a laptop or typewriter and writing for hours, however when he’s off a project, he’s rather amiable and social, usually with a dad-like playfulness. The only way he gets properly mad is for someone else’s sake. When in group of people, his maturity and level-headedness often leaves him to take on the role of the dad of the group. Likewise, he has the tendency to make dad jokes.

Background: Caligula died in the roman times, however he doesn’t properly remember being alive after all the years. After a long time of consideration, he’s come to the conclusion he’s sold his soul for something and that’s what made him a demon, however that’s no more than speculation. He did the usual demon army thing for a while, but after a while he slowly phased out of that and no one really bothered to take him back, he wasn’t a particularly great soldier anyway. Around the 1800’s, he picked up the hobby of writing novels and somehow got them in circulation around hell, and through those novels, he became a rather renowned novelist around hell, going by the pseudonym of Jack Hemingway. That would be his biggest secret that only close friends know. He still writes novels to this day and still has great popularity for his books.

Powers: Nothing special. He’s clever and fairly strong, but mostly for lifting things and pushing things, not fighting. He’s an alright marksman, enough to take someone down if he wanted to, but has no precision.

Weapons: Usually carries a handgun if he knows he’s going to be somewhere dangerous, although it takes a bit to get him to shoot, he prefers to use it as a threat, but its still always loaded.

Checks: Although he doesn’t really have any particular powers, his weaknesses are substance addiction to nicotine and caffeine.

Name: Aureolin Orion Levine

Species: Angel

Personality: Calm, hardworking, and patient. Enjoys cooking, flying, playing a harp, flowing garments. She does not enjoy war and volunteered for the peace mission to get away from fighting. She is always ready to help someone in need.

Background: Aureolin used to work as a maid in a well-known warrior’s estate. She became attracted to her master, despite his rather viscious personality, often secreetly observing his techniques. She one day replicated his techinque to save his life from an assassin, her master later cut her down for knowing his “secret” technique. The stripe on her shirt represents the gash in her chest from his attack.

During the war between angels and demons, she served as a supply carrier and messenger in the angel army, due to her pocket dimension which could hold hundred of objects. Even though she was targeted often, she never killed, at worst incapacitating/knocking out others.

Weapons: Sword (specifically a Wo Dao)

Powers: Control of a small pocket dimension (inside her bag) that she keeps things in. Also has the ability to fix broken things.

Limiter: Decreases her fighting ability and flying speed and slows her ability to fix things and also limits the capacity of her bag of holding to a mere 25 object limit.

Name: Astelis Nentel

Species: Angel

Physical Description:

Personality: Astelis is a very vengeful person he believes that if someone harms him he should return the favor. He dislikes things that bores him but will be very active around something or someone that actually attracts his interests.
Above all he cares more about himself than anyone else. He puts on an act most of the time when around new people acting nice, sweet, innocent and weak, sometimes even playing to be submissive to trick others. In reality he is a very manipulative person who will do anything for the sake of his research.He is very fascinated with blood and watching others suffer in pain.

Background: Astelis during his human life lived an average life and was more of a loner, he didn’t fit in well with other people or his family and never recognized for anything he has ever done. His death was caused by an accident which he thinks was probably one of the best thing to ever happen to him since he feels that his life as an angel is a lot better than his human life. As an angel he became every interested into research and experimenting and decided to pursue it. After many years of conducting research and improving the lives of many victims in the war he was given a higher position in the research area where he made discoveries that ranged from ways to save the lives of angels quicker to weapons that can cause more injuries to a demon. He is personally in favor for the war since it allows him to further his research and experiments on the demons he have held captive in his lab and will do anything to keep the war going.

Weapons: He usually has a knife somewhere and a couple of syringes full of different types of drugs/medicines if needed.

Powers: He can manipulate living beings through strings and create puppets to do his bidding. He likes to use his powers to use or sabotage others.

Limiter: He can only manipulate up to 4 things at the same time anything over that will burn him out.
