Back story: Jason was born at (redacted) to parents (redacted).  At the age of nine his power manifested when he healed one of his classmates who had been hurt playing.  His parents believed him to be a prophet of the lord.  They traveled from place to place having him preform these “miracles”.  Jason was sheltered from all except those he helped and his parents.  The government toke notice of his abilities and sought to use it to their own advantage.  In a single moment agents swooped in and took him to be used as their pawns.  With the help of a sympathetic scientist Jason managed to escape and arrive at the school.  He is fiercely intelligent, and sarcastic with a strong distrust of authority and religion.
