(I’m used to it, tho hoping nefur hurts anyone too much)

Ruby raised an eyebrow. She wondered if Dane truly did not know the mastermind behind this war setting, or if he was simply joking around like he always was. His “irony” got in the way of things that would otherwise seem logical, but Ruby always knew the difference either way, not that it mattered. Why would Dane be making up tales at the start of a war? That’s just silly. “Sure better hope not. This place will be upside down after it’s all over. Blame’s on you for the damage, you bringing me here with all the trouble and all your usual shenanigans. Not that it doesn’t seem like a fun ride.” She eyed the swords while she said this, changing her gaze to look him in the eyes when she was done. She had heard of this place as if it was thrust right out of her very memory, so, of course playing a game of LARPing with so called coolkid wouldn’t not be a total adventurous disaster, Skaia themed specifically. His almighty speech was rather entertaining. All she thought of saying while he seemingly screamed his heart out was ‘Excuse me, Stridermyass, righteous retribution is fully on stock for you, sir, as I have solemnly gathered such effects for the reason of dragging me into this competition with or without much effort… Explaining what? That you will experience burns in game through yours truly, fellow enemy-in-game.’
Reasons stated that she would have to take place as a member of the Prospit army. She knew better than to expect the others to join in soon enough.
“They’re not joining us anytime soon.” She shook her head. “Either too late or too little… Besides, Bob has embraced the art of disappearing, if you get me. His mind is more wandering than ever and I might not have spoken with him today but I know as much. He is most likely playing around with the weapons he was supposed to bring for this event. He was invariably forgetful. With this keeping up, who knows what could happen to him, most specifically.” She shrugged. “I could do anything to make this a successful match.” She took out her glasses and propped them up her nose like the familiar, as if disguising herself. She waited for an opinion, if it would just be the two of them, if only for the time being. “Ready when you are.”

    (That was so cute!)
She waited patiently for him to write down the location of the circus, looking at his hand move behind the paper. “Thank you, man of flames, am I right?” She looked back at the circus poster saying something of the sort and looked forward to seeing him perform there. She got the paper from him and folded it, placing it in her jacket pocket. She liked fire play, it was like the firebending on shows like Avatar The Last Airbender, or magic characters like Natsu from Fairy Tail… who ate fire. She wondered what he would be doing and how he did it. Her eyes brightened when she saw him playing with it again, and her grin couldn’t become bigger when he made a pink cat out of flames. She didn’t know what to say. She was completely dumbfounded. “I look furward to it, thank you furry much.” She bowed her head and waved a hand before turning and walking back. “I should have taken a picture.” She thought afterwards. “Oh well, plenty of time fur that later.” She went back to eating her pastries. “I also should’ve offered him some.” She laughed to herself. Kronie saw a man pacing back and forth from the corner of her eye, and it caught her attention for a second… before she turned back to walking and thought nothing more of it.

Kronie let her basket rest at her side; she didn’t want to eat it all in one go. She had walked the same way the little girl had before, not realizing it as the people went with her and against her on the sidewalk. The shops to the sides were colorful and pleasant and she liked being around them. Walking around the curb, the opposite way to her house, she saw the little girl again with a tall man. She could hear him talking about the circus as if he was announcing it to the people around, and walked closer, clearly he knew something about it. She saw him giving her a small piece of paper that looked like a ticket, and then toy with fire as if it was nothing more than air. She gaped at a distance and clapped. When she gets close enough, the little girl is already off with the money he had given her. The act warmed Kronie’s heart and she smiled. “Pawrdon me, sir.” She started. “Would you tell me where the location of the circus is?”

Kronie saw the little girl from the corner of her eye, but paid her no mind as she stood by the circus sign and munched on some peanut butter cookies. She pondered about the circus, and how she would love to go and make a change for once in her life… not really, she had plenty of exciting things hanging but still, circuses were fun. She now noticed the girl standing next to her, looking at the same poster. “What a cutie!” She thought to herself, smiling at her for a second before turning back to the poster and sighing. She had to make plans for this. She slipped out her phone from her pink jacket, which had a cupcake on it, and took a picture of the poster for further reference. The problem was… the address wasn’t very clear, or she hadn’t heard of it before maybe because she had only lived in the area for a couple months. It would be nice if she could figure it out, or maybe ask someone who might know, but she was clueless on who, so she tried looking it up online only to find that it was a traveling circus that had no exact location of performance. She sighed again. That was very fishy, as if only a handful of chosen people were to go there. She would figure it out, it shouldn’t be that hard. Maybe it was a bad poster and there were more better ones out there. She found she didn’t have anything better to do so she walked around, eyes alert to see if she could find anything else on the circus.

The girl walked out of the baker’s shop with a basket (almost) full with sweets(since she had eaten some while inside). The pastries burst with the yummiest of flavors, and not only that but the texture was so soft whilst some crunched away, but that was what gave them each various different identities, one frostier or glazier than another. Looking at it, the Frettela was her favorite. She loved the strawberry cheesecake and the apple pie, but nothing beat the delicacy of the ‘ little balls of heaven’ or so she called. It wouldn’t be a surprise in the least to say food was a big part of her life. Kronie Hansen was unconditionally in love with food. Especially Italian food. She could never hate Italians after she tried things like the Frettela; truly a piece of heaven. The food romantic was a true sucker for- well, food, but she was also more than willing to share some of hers with others if they needed it. Thankfully, she wasn’t one born with a liking to oppress people; quite the opposite actually, she loved helping them(and just loved people overall), a big advantage on a evil world.
But food wasn’t the only thing Kronie loved. She was thankful that she didn’t take after the fat people in her family because of all the ‘junk’ she ate; looking sharp was something she had learned from her late mother, and her style was something she treasured almost as much as food. Almost.
But with clouded skirt and heeled shoes, she thought she was doing fine.
Kronie popped another Frettela in her mouth before looking about this part of town. She usually came through here to visit the baker’s shop, so it wasn’t unfamiliar, but something about that sign on the side of the road seemed off. That wasn’t there before and she was drawn to it like a fly. “Circus in town?” She wondered aloud as she read it, mouth full with Frettela. A huge grin sprawled on her face and she almost did the unladylike action of have her sugar drop from her lips. She gulped down her last bite and clapped her hands. “What a breakthrough, this is pawesome!”

“EXCUSE ME, I WAS NEFUR TOO FOND OF AMPURRAS ANYWAY!” She coughed. “Amporas.” She decided they didn’t deserve to have anything to do with cat puns. She turned her head away, still standing beside Jake. “If he wants to be that way, I might as well write a fanfic about him and CAPTOR.” She said mostly to herself. “Oh, and make it RED with a tefurball plot twist.” She didn’t like him already. At least Cronus acted as if he didn’t care about blood castes. This troll was arrogant.

“It’s purrfectly fine.” She replied, and clapped when he tried out a cat pun. “PURRFECT!” She squealed, smiling. Giggling, she took his hand in her gray one. “Meowlin, I mean, Meulin Leijon.” She shook it and gave him a toothy grin. “Pawdon me but I would love to ship you with…” She looked around the room and gasped. “AMPORA!” She jumped, surprised at seeing him there. He was actually not the Ampora she knew best, thankfully(?), or else she would have to endure a day’s burden of being called “pussycat” and other offensive slurs of the sort… Not to mention shameless flirtation, the nerve! She had- or, really HAD a matesprit… But still, no Ampora for her, at least not the one she was thinking of. This one was different… She hoped.
