Elijah looks to the new girl, smiling and waving at her, Samuel already having introduced him and Alex. Elijah stands, tired of sitting, reaching up to his full 5’10 height, his wild hair finally fully dry…or for the most part.
Alex adjusting his dress, stands like Elijah, still close to Samuel and Velia as well, smiles at the new girl. He then turns to Samuel, “I think Ana’s shadows actually would help…what with how they could act as shields…she can make them phase threw things…as well as….she can make them solid and they could be used to maybe…pierce through something…but also Mina…she would be helpful as well…oh dear…” Alex seems to be especially indecisive at the moment.
-
Alex sighs of relief at Samuel and Velia, giving a thankful nod, even though staying practically right next to them as well as Elijah, “But we should talk about who we want to bring in. Like from us Emmas would we want Jade, Mina, or Ana. And of the other Alexis’ would we want Neoma, Dayla, Lucy, Claire, or Juliet?”
“Ana could use a shadow hand to go through the walls to see if there’s anything beyond it…but Mina is also strategic and good at fighting…and Dayla is…magic and smart but Juliet offers the medical assistance if we need any….but Jade also is….a Jade so yeah….that speaks for itself….and….Neoma is a…nerd with a sword which helps…” Elijah is just thinking aloud by now.
-
Alex jumps a bit as Steve punches the wall, then turns his attention back to Elijah and Stella, trying to calm his shaking, “I think the puppet master might have taken that precaution if it is magic and blocked us from being able to…do that…but then again maybe not…it’s worth a shot I think.”
“But who would we want to bring in? Two people, one person? What? One of them and one of us?” Elijah asks, referring to “one of them” as those who live with Samuel and “one of us” as those who live with himself, Alex, and Velia, not realizing that he may be making others feel excluded.
“True, but who…Dayla maybe? She might know…things…and Jade? Hope she has her sledge hammer? Maybe Mina who can fight very well? I don’t…I don’t know anymore, maybe they know someone too…” Alex trails off, looking down. Then he shoots his head back up, realizing he can’t mope, not in this situation. He smiles quickly, reassuring himself as well as attempting to with others.
-
Elijah and Alex look to each other and then back at Stella, Elijah speaks first, “Well, we’re not too…experienced in magic ourselves, I mean given a spell we can preform it so to speak but…”
“Our friend Dayla is the one who’s more knowledgable in…well, many things as she is quite old…but she knows the most about magic I think,” Alex continues, picking up where Elijah left off. “But Velia has the power of…well, just knowing things as well as, as one of my friends would say, a super computer for a brain, and I think Samuel knows a thing or too.”
“But the thing is the puppet master could have some sort of..shield on us if that makes any sense, meaning until that magic wears off, no one can get in unless the puppet master lets them, and absolutely no one can get out…” Elijah trails off, coming off as kind of depressing even though he doesn’t mean to be in any way.

Alex pauses, blinking at Stella, who had just spoken up from in the corner. He lowers the hand his knife is in, letting it lay at his side as he moves back to Elijah who migrated to Samuel and Velia again. He speaks in a soft, thoughtful tone, “That…actually would make a lot of sense. That’s quite genius Stella.” He smiles at her, as to make her feel a bit less tense and more welcome in the group. Being kind and welcoming is the least he can do in a terrifying situation like this.
Elijah aslo contemplates this. “A lucid dream…” He repeats, trailing of in the usual airy, not-completely-in-reality tone he tends to have. He mostly his hand to his mostly dried, wild hair, not minding then it falls into his face once again. Fixing one of the buttons on his black button up as the tall, thin boy responds, “I see where you’re going with that actually. It very well could be that we’re in a dream-like state, maybe our bodies are being kept somewhere while the puppet master here trapped us in this place, a place that’s both real and not real at the same time. So it wouldn’t be like a lucid dream exactly but pretty similar, a place created with magic. A nightmarish…dreamscape so to speak.”
-
Elijah laughs a bit at what Emmaline said before looking around, his usual straight, some what day dreaming expression coming back. Alex is also looking around, before he ends up looking over to see his knife.
Ale holds it up, “Well…I have this but I don’t think a knife will do much good against who knows how thick of concrete.”
-
Alex looks at Samuel, “Oh…um…but with what? They’re made of concrete, we’re going to need more than just our bodies.”
At this, Elijah chuckles into his hand, taking a rather different interpretation of the “we’re going to need more than just our bodies” part.
“What?” Alex looks to him, “What are you-…Oh. Wow. Grow up, Elijah.”
“Sorry,” Elijah gets out between a few stifled laughs.
-
Alex sighs, “I wish we had Jade’s sledge hammer.”
Elijah looks over to Samuel and Velia. “You okay?” He asks, crawling a short distance towards them, Alex gets up and follows with a few steps.”
“We need to try something…it’s not like concrete can’t break,” Alex says, sitting.
“We should plan, does Velia have any knowledge?” Elijag asks once more.
-
Elijah sits silently, his mind slowly shutting itself off.
“Elijah?” Alex questions. With no response he continues to beckon Elijah, soon he is shouting and shaking him. That is until Alex just slaps him.
“Ow! What? Sorry…” Elijah finally speaks.
Alex pats his shoulder, “Hang in there, don’t shut off on us.”
-
“That’s the thing,” Elijah starts. “We have no clue why or how exactly we’re here, nor do we know a way out.”
“We’re just…here…and soon enough…something else dangerous is gonna happen…when a weird smell appears out of no where that means that it will start soon,” Alex adds on shakily, staring down at his hands but beginning to calm himself down.
-
Alex stands there just trembling, staring at the spot where I’s body was just a moment ago before it turned to dust. Tears flow from his eyes, which are wide and reflecting both his fear and shock. He opens his mouth in an attempt to speak, but nothing comes out besides small sobs and whines.
Elijah takes note of this and quickly runs over to Alex, taking his hand once more to make sure he stays close to him, Samuel, and Velia. Elijah also looks to Stella briefly, concerned about her current emotional and mental state. “Stella, you can come sit by us if you want, unless you’d rather be alone,” Elijah lets her know incase the company would help as he takes a seat next to Samuel and Velia. Alex imitates this, still trembling. Elijah, like his little British friend, finds himself trembling, but he doesn’t allow much more than that. Maybe it’s that mentally he’s shutting out what just happened for the sake of his own wellbeing, like some odd coping mechanism.
-
Alex jolts at the sound of he scratching, beginning to shake even more before he grips Elijah’s hand even harder, Elijah gripping back to let him know that everything will be okay. Alex hesitantly feels around the walls as he trails behind Elijah, feeling around for Dakota who recently spoke out.
-
Alex walks along, tightly gripping Elijah’s hand as if his life was dependent on it. Elijah grips back as if to reassure him. What’s wrong with him? Alex doesn’t know himself, he just walks with shaking legs, most of him trembling a bit, but he’s glad to hear that they found Emmaline, now they just need to find the others.
“Okay, someone else call out, we can use sound and the walls to find you, maybe find your way to a wall if you already haven’t,” Elijah instructs, still oddly determined.
-
Elijah jumps a bit, trying to ignore it, “I have no clue what the fuck is even going on.”
He clutches Alex’s hand even tighter, making his way in the direction of where he hear Samuel’s voice in a determined manner. The bubblegum haired boy stumbles a bit behind him, shaking, perhaps frightened by the dark. He reached his free hand out and determinedly walks, his hand hand bumps into a concrete wall rather harshly, scrapping it. He feels out more, feeling a shoulder of which he assumes to be Samuel.
“Take my hand one of you, we’re gonna try and join hands with everyone maybe, to make sure we all know where we are and stuff,” Elijah explains, his voice oddly firm sounding.
-
Elijah stands, stumbling but steadying himself, “Is everyone okay?” He asks loud enough for everyone to hear.
“I-I’m fine but…why?” Alex asks, not quite sure what to say. He feels around a bit from his place on the ground, “Is this your leg Elijah? Or is this someone else’s leg? Sorry.”
Elijah feels a slender hand on his lower leg, “Keep your hand their, I’ll just…”
The brunette boy reaches down, feeling along his own leg until cold hands met soft skin. “Okay, got you.” He helps Alex up, keeping a grip on his hand. He should be thinking that it was awkward but Elijah doesn’t think like that. “Samuel, maybe take Velia’s hand, you take mine, and we try to find everyone else in the room and stick together?”
