“Of course!” Serena was excited because as it was the weekend she was able to use her magic to create the ice cream. So, she held the cone in one hand and used her hand to create the right mixture and kind of ice cream the lady was after, before swirling it together in a pretty design and passing it over. “Hope you enjoy!”

Serena rushed to the Ice Cream stand to get ready for the weekend that was due to start. She knew it had been sunny as of late and decided to prepare some ice cream with her magic for any of those nearby who would like to spend the weekend at the beach, but needed a cold treat. “I hope it gets busy today.” She was excited, as she had been enjoying her time helping out at the mall selling her cakes, and here selling the ice cream. She still had a long way to go to get the money to get the gifts she was wanting to thank all those who had helped her out.

Serena listened closely to what Lady Helena was telling her. She wasn’t sure herself how much of her magic she could use at one time, so understood that she would have to limit herself. “Yes Lady Helena!” She giggles as she watched her make ice cream without magic, and tried to remember how it was done. “I won’t stay late, I promise!” She didn’t want Lady Helena to worry about her, as she hadn’t had many worry about her anyway. She waved as Lady Helena left, and got back to work, making sure to put the contact numbers she gave her away somewhere safe. “Hm, Wednesday and Saturday will be days I use my magic to make ice cream.” She decided, as she felt Saturday was a busy day, and her magic would be quicker, and Wednesday was halfway through the week, and was a day a lot of people could do with a pick me up.

Serena waves as miss Apple leaves, glad she enjoyed them. “I hope everyone else will like them.” She smiles as she goes in the back and cleans up in the kitchen.

Serena nods and goes and picks up one of the freshly made fairy cakes. “Here you go.” They had white sponge with blue icing and little snow flakes on top and were colder than normal fairy cakes should be, but not too cold that they were like ice cream.

Serena was in the back and heard miss Apple come in and walked through to the front. “Oh hello miss Apple!” She giggles, as she took a small tub and placed a scoop of her ice cream into it. “I hope you enjoy it. I also have some hand made fairy cakes. I got taught how to make them when I was 5.” She smiles as she passes the small tub of ice cream to miss Apple.

Serena was glad to hear from Miss Momo and bowed to her in respect. “Thank you! I will start straight away!” She could make ice cream, but she had also been shown when she was 5 how to tend to herself and could make some fairy cakes easily, with her own little twist. She went to the kitchen to start making some, hoping that the customers would enjoy them.

Serena wandered to the little shoppe that was in the city and looked around. She wondered if she would be able to help out here, as she was wanting to find some nice presents for those who had helped her out recently, but couldn’t afford them. “Um, is there any shifts going that I can help out with?”

Serena finally found the stand miss Apple was talking about. “This must be the one then.” She looked at the stand, and the recipes for some of the ice cream that was there. “Hmm, doesn’t look too difficult.” She tried to use her ice and snow magic to create ice cream herself, while adding flavours to the ice cream to see if it works. “Hopefully this is um okay.”

Serena went to the little shoppe at the beach that Miss Apple had told her about and looked around inside. “So this is the place miss Apple told me about.” She had on the uniform off the Hexagon Mall, as she had been told it would be okay to wear it and she could get paid for it. “I hope I can make ice-cream well enough for people to enjoy.” She used some of her snow and ice magic to create ice cream, with adding in flavourings to actually make it taste nicer.

Serena cautiously took the hand offered to her and got to her feet. “You’re helping us?” She smiled softly as she blinked. “Thank you sir, but I can walk.”

Serena smiled softly and nodded at the lady. “I’m fine miss.” She carefully accepted the blanket, even though she wasn’t cold or needing it. “I can walk miss, and um if I get tired Freya will fly me like she has before.” She looked down at her exceed in her arms. “You’ll really take us somewhere safe?” She was still wanting to be helpful and needed to find who she was looking for.

Serena noticed the lady coming closer to the girls. She then realised that she was worried about the girl. She quietly got up and moved away a bit so the lady could tend to her new friend – or so she hoped anyway. Serena kept Freya close in her arms and watched them quietly. ‘At least she has someone she knows here’ Serena thought to herself.

Serena and her new friend had finally arrived at the hideout after escaping from a beast in the borderlands thanks to mister Cao. She had stopped just outside the door, and was trying to see how Mai was doing. “Are you okay?” She knelt by her side, holding Freya within her arms. She was also worried about if mister Cao got away like he promised.
