“Their demons are trivial. Beings of another plane, but all governed by the same universal laws, containing the same traces of Universal DNA. And that is exactly what I have learned to exploit. They may pose a threat to us, but the balances of power are shifting. Midzog is a threat to the Council only in his damage to the Universe, not in the damage to the Council itself. You see, the Council is composed of… Abstract beings. But I have a plan… We will make Jack our own weapon. He was not meant to die today, and therefore he will not. Once he has been healed… His hatred of Midzog runs deep, and we will use that to destroy Midzog. Then, we will need to travel to an ancient place… But that is for another time.” Ozymandias begins removing the fractured shards of bullet from Jack’s skull, as well as the psychic tendrils which Midzog had attempted to use to control Jack. “Geralt fired a cleaner shot than I had expected. This is good. It makes things easier.”

“Midzog does not have the rightful power to excommunicate you. That power lies with me, and me alone. However, Midzog has directly chosen to defy my will. He wishes to combat the Council and me, and has proven even more of a loose cannon than I had ever feared. He has attempted to excommunicate me as well. So, would you join me in reclaiming the OGA, and killing Midzog? Ultimately, the OGA soldiers have been trained to loyally follow my command, and have been ordered to do so with regards to the new offensive already being carried out. However, I have always been a semi-absent leader, and Midzog will most likely seek advantage in that. So we must destroy him. Will you help me?”

Odysseus’ eyes flash and turn red as Faye enters, but he responds to Geralt in his normal voice, “SAL will be driving my ship on autopilot, while I attempt surgery on Jack. We are going to one of my private facilities. Stay close; we are good to go.” Odysseus turns off communications, as their ship jumps to hyperdrive towards their destination. Then, his eyes turn and stay red, and Ozymandias speaks to Faye, standing besides Jack body as he continues dealing with the fatal wound, “Hello, my dear. As always a pleasure. Don’t worry, I have no intention of killing you presently. I have no need to. In fact, I need your help. Do you wholeheartedly believe in the OGA cause that I have constructed?”
-
“Fine, but Faye is coming with me. You can pilot Annabelle to the final destination. Or do I need to remind you that I am your only hope of ever seeing Rose again?” Odysseus’ hands shake, as he pulls out a scalpel, beginning to remove the bullet from Jack’s head.

Odysseus stands over Jack’s bleeding body, sobbing. He lifts up Jack’s corpse, and brings it aboard his ship into the portable medbay, his hands shaking. “Faye, get in here! We have to leave! Now! Geralt, pilot the ship. We will leave them fused together. I need both of your guys’ help. Faye, please come here, quickly. Geralt, I trust you. Lay in preset course 314.15 at my helm, please.”

The sunconcious struggle between Odysseus and Ozymandias is for some reason extremely powerful, more powerful than Ozymandias had ever expected, but then again Odysseus matched him in strength. His mind had just given up a long time ago… Odysseus had chosen to forget. Now, Operation Shelley was in place. Unlimited power… To fight the Gods. But still, Odysseus was resisting Ozymandias. Ozymandias’ eyes stopped glowing red, and Odysseus’ eyes returned to their normal color. He turned the ship around, having been restored to Odysseus. Midzog and Ozymandias would speak another time; for now Midzog was not a threat. Jack was the threat. And Odysseus was pulling back to the ship. He docks alongside the Annabelle, and runs aboard. He steps between Geralt and Jack, stopping them both from advancing on each other. “Stop, Jack. Please. Listen to me. You know who I am. Don’t do this. Fight it. I know it hurts, but do it for me and Apollo. And do it for Shavari. Wake up!” Odysseus grabs Jack’s head and stares into his eyes.

As Ozymandias waits at the monitor for a response, he pushes a button beneath the dash, establishing direct communication with the OGA fleet. Having personally overseen the training process, the OGA soldiers’ loyalty to Ozymandias and his cause was never a question. They were perfectly brainwashed; Kika a perfect specimen. Ozymandias had always been quite impressed with the results of his efforts; they would die for him, and more importantly kill for him. And now, he issued orders, vital orders. He typed into the ticker ‘OPERATION SHELLEY is in full effect. Position orbital vacuum capacitors in stable trajectory around Wave 1 Target Planets. Orders only to be accepted directly from High Commander-In-Chief Ozymandias, from secure line, reinforced by necessary security measures. Capacitors only to be made available to Ozymandias directly. All others to be executed on sight for treason if infiltration attempted. Good luck. To the New Age!’

Ozymandias pulls back up the monitor, hailing Midzog again. “Would you like to revise that statement, inferior? To put it simply, I could have killed you at any point, and do you honestly think that your blasted experiment could kill me at all? You are an insect to me. You may have the experience of two millenia, but I have the might of thirteen million years. The Council has the authority to break you, if I don’t get to you first.”

Odysseus’ eyes glow red, as the ship is suddenly rocked about by the explosion. He stares at Jack for a moment, grimacing, and crosses the ship, moving to the docking bridge to cross over into his own ship. His hands are shaking. He turns back to Kika and Geralt, and yells to them, “Try to survive together in here! You’ll need to work together! I’ll come back for you!” Odysseus then boards into his own ship and detaches, rapidly cloaking the ship. His eyes turn completely red, and he hails Midzog, having turned into Ozymandias. “Why did you not consult with me regarding the termination of Kika? She is a valuable asset. Further, your unauthorized abduction and alteration of Jack is… Troubling. Do you have any idea how long it will take for me to explain that to the Council? I trust that you are in control of him? You know who our true target is. Jack can be employed as a weapon, but this is… Difficult. His anger was always present, but your actions are too direct. They won’t just attract notice, they’ll launch an unwelcome inquiry into my motives. You know what the consequences will be for you.” The final statement ends in a burst of anger, as small sparks fly and hum across Ozymandias’ armor.

Odysseus sits at the cockpit, staring out the viewport as he plots their trajectory, taking the long orbit around to avoid detection. He nervously drums at the wheel, his hands shaking as his eyes continue to flash red on and off. He unawarely mutters to himself, “Jack … Thorn in my side … Damn council, telling me what to do … Hours to explain … The Nameless One … Never understand … Project Shelley … And then … They ALL die.” Odysseus stops rocking in his chair, his eyes returning to normal. He shakes his head nervously, and stares out into space, as the course is laid in. “Here we go…”

Odysseus leans down next to Kika, who is huddling on the ground, and his eyes flashing red. “Thank you for cooperating. I prefer not to use more… Medieval methods. After all, we’re not the OGA. Oh, and we will be using your ship. I’ll be driving. You’ll guide us into the base, and we’ll let you live. Well even let you keep the ship.” Odysseus turns to Geralt and whispers, ”Untie and keep an eye on her. I’ll fly. And thank you for your help.” Odysseus goes to leave, and stops, whispering again to Geralt, “Two quick things. Why was she so scared of you? And also, the toxin was a bluff. I’m a sociopath, not a psychopath. The trackers do only what they are designed to: track. No paralysis, so don’t worry.”
-
Odysseus pulls out his gun, and points it at Kika’s head. ”I know your a shapeshifter. Change to your natural form, now.”
-
Odysseus enters the ship, and smells the smoke in the air. “Ah, I see how you celebrate successful missions! Hopefully you don’t think that this will incapicate me or lessen my response! My exo-suit extracts the effects from my nervous system!” Odysseus pulls out his electric batons, and moves throughout the ship, Geralt behind him. “I’m not here to play hide and seek!” Odysseus opens a door and finds the transformed Kika in the back room. ”Hello.”
-
((I’ll be away for a few hours, in about an hour or two, so I apologize for falling behind. Geralt will hopefully know what to do.))

Odysseus’ ship suddenly pulls up alongside Kika’s prow, keeping pace above her. Weapons are locked on her life-support systems, and Odysseus hails Kika. “Greetings, traitor. What do you say you slow down your ship, and lower your shields? The shields are more of a formality, considering my laser shocks can cut through them like butter, but I figure that we can all be civilized, and Id rather not have to destroy Annabelle. If you fail to comply, then this can end one of two ways. One: I fire upon and disable your life-support systems, and you suffocate in the freezing void. Or two: I injected micro-trackers in your blood stream. Well, every Keepers’ blood stream. Well, even sometimes random strangers’ blood streams when I’m bored. Basically, anyone I see on the street has them; let’s say I can get a bit paranoid. Anyways, these trackers also have the acute property of injecting a fast-acting toxin into the person’s bloodstream, at the touch of a button. My finger is on that button as we speak. Now this toxin won’t kill you, no. It will paralyze you. Permanently. So which would you rather be: a Popsicle or a vegetable? Either way I can still get the information I need out of you. Or of course you could play along, and let us dock.”
