*Understanding his situation. He felt fortunate to have such a merciful leader such as Odanna. Things could have turned our differently. He was limited to the places he could go to, for the time being. And he had no complaints, after all, he did try to attack the GrandSugarClan, Odanna and Ginji. It would not be easy to make up for such a bold offense. He had already suffered the consequences in the land of ogres and now he would have to make up for his indiscretion while keeping himself from being hunted and killed by the demonic hordes of Lord Satan Kuroyassha, one who was definitely not as forgiving as all those he had recently encountered. He was glad he could earn the respect of Odanna and those he had offended. For now, he would wait for his orders as he quietly smoked his kiseru in a room of Tenjin’ya Inn where Odanna ordered him to remain for a while and contemplate on his misguided actions.*

*Motonari noticed the binding spell too late. He could sense clearly that the binding spell would not kill him but he wasn’t able to avoid it in time. He knew he would be captured. He tried to think of counter spells for this but because Akura-ou was a more ancient being than him, he was not familiar with the circle that had paralyzed him in place.* So they don’t intend to kill me? *he sighs* So humiliating. *And yet he was relieved. He wasn’t able to meet his goal and perhaps it was for the best.*

*Motonari felt himself being pushed even further back. He held one foot back against the ground but the wind leaf used by the tengu and the amplification of Kuronue’s demon bat wings pushed him harshly and only created a dent in the ground as he tried to maintain his footing.*

*Motonari created a second blade with lighting, throws the lighting ring blade into the air, above his enemies and then it fires down a beam of searing light in an attempt to end their existence so that he can continue towards his ultimate goal, he was unaware of the movement within the Sugar Mansion as the youngest of the clan were entering some kind of Fall Out Shelter.*

*Motonari senses that other ogres have arrived outside the gates and that they are being challenged by a new individual who seemed to be there to protect the inhabitants of the empire. However, he was completely focused on his fight with his three familiar enemies, as they were posing a challenge to him. He didn’t care for the ogres that had arrived and ignored them. He noticed that Shinjirou and Kuronue used their feathers to turn them into shields and they pushed him back away from the gates while Akura-ou used his fire blasts against him. He realized that they were momentarily overpowering him. He couldn’t allow this. He needed to fulfill his mission for Lord Satan or face his horrible wraith. Would he have to use more power to beat these three pests and make his way towards the gates. His red eyes studied the situation while he defended himself. He caught some of Akura-ou’s fire with his sword and redirected it to all three of them followed with his lightning strike. Then he pushed forward once more.*

*Momentarily distracted by the influx of young clan members. He turned his attention towards them letting go of his prey. He lifted his sword and a green lightning struck it. Then he pointed it at the young ones, he was impressed that they passed so quickly and set up a thorn barrier. He still released his lightning strike towards the thorn wall. But the targets had already passed.* I’m losing my patience. *he raises his sword once more and turns towards Kuronue once more.* I could have had a few of those as my prisoners! Are you trying to distract me? No, you’re simply one of many obstacles! Once I get rid of you three I can grab those little ones and take them back to Gehenna with me!

*Motonari caught all three of their stances. He dodged and deflected Akura-ou’s flames using the same flames against them as he hurled these towards his opponents with his sword. The one closest to him was Kuronue. His blades had cut through some of his clothing and this disappointed Motonari.* This is one of the reasons I hate war. My beautiful clothes are ruined. Alas, I will have to make you pay for this travesty. *He quickly made his way towards Kuronue since he was the first one injured. He attempted to grab on to the injured wing so he could fling Kuronue to the ground and ready his sword to stab him in the heart.*

So you decided to join that party? I guess it would be easier for me to kill all three of you at once. I don’t want to resort to violence but you see, you’re giving me no other choice. *he looks at Shinjirou* What’s in it for me? *he laughs* I am fighting in exchange for my own existence! Nothing more! *seeing them all in the same place, he quickly releases his sword’s attack on them again.*

*The ogres moves looked like a traditional Asian dance routine. He would deflect all the attacks with a what seemed to be a slow motion move of the sword as if he were dancing with Chinese fans in hand, instead it was his sword. His body would move with ease and avoid any flames or blades he did not deflect and then he would lift his sword and bring it down in a sideways swoop, a green light and malicious aura would be released with the final flick of the sword and it would head straight towards his his opponents.* I see, I’ll have to take the little brat by force and in the process I will have to kill you both!

*Motonari deflected these and even sent a few flying back towards it’s owner and then he extended his sword as he waited to impale Kuronue’s body on it as he approached him.* I wonder, will you be able to stop yourself in time to avoid my blade?

*Motonari smirks at Kuronue’s words.* I’m familiar with your pendulum like blades and your fights with Leo and Akoya-Kurama but, the problem is that they both went easy on you Kuronue. That sick friendship you all share with each other makes you weak! So weak that you couldn’t beat them in battle. You’ve all gone soft. Do you really think you can win against me? *his battle aura increases.* I’d like to see how you manage that.

*Motonari observed everything carefully. He could tell that the Kinzou was pointing an arrow at him and that there were others around waiting to fight him. He would smile and walk forward but not too close to the gate. He could sense the aura around the kingdom.* I see! It’s been reinforced. It feels different. *he then looks over to Kuronue as he unsheathes his sword and holds it close in front of him.* How many times will you make me repeat myself? Bring the young Ginji to me and I shall let you live. Otherwise, I shall have to find a way to force my way in or force the little brat out. Did you truly believe our Lord Satan would just let you up and walk away from his domain? Don’t make me laugh!
