I open my eye’s and look to see if Fallen is still here. “It’s late…” I sit up and get up brushing off my back and picking up my guitar case. “They won’t notice I’m gone…” I walk off to the side walks behind the beach that are 5 feet above the beach incase of high tides.

“Yeah.” I open my eye’s again.

“Uh okay…” I look straight up at the sky, I close my eye’s as the cool breeze goes by.

I walk back to Fallen and sit next to her laying my head on my guitar case. “Still asleep?”

“No problem…” Before I go to the dorms I go to the beach showers to clean off.

I walk behind Fallen I put her towel around her so she doesn’t catch a cold. “Hey…if those guys ever bother you…I can get them for you…” I look down then grab my guitar case and walk off the beach back to the dorms.

I open up a video from a helmet camera that was on one of the marines. I point to the creature with blades for arms. “I was attacked by this thing, it’s not anything I have ever seen before.”

I start walking home.

I scratch my neck. “Sorry…” I look at the dark sky. “Want to get out?” I ask thinking I ruined the beach moment now.

I carry her back until she can touch the ground I put her down in the water. “Sorry…why are you scared of deep water?”

“Don’t worry you will be fine.” I reach out to pull her through the water.

I swim over to Fallen. “Here I can help you learn…if you like.”

I sit on the edge of a clift staring out into the forest.

I motion Fallen to come deeper in. The sun is gone but there is still light.

I float on my back in the water. “Ahhh.” I sigh as I watch the sun set slowly go down.
