Sky waves goodbye to her Aunt. He aunt doesn’t do anything. She just speeds away. Sky turns around and stares at the school. She sighs. “Here we go.” She starts walking up to the school while dragging her luggage behind her. As she walks she looks around examining the school.

-i arrive as i am carrying a gym bag and i look at the card and walk in as i sign in the school and get my room number and i walk to it placing my bags in the room as i look around- “lets get this show on the road.” -i unpack on one side of the room as i grab my old guitar and i strum it slowly and i smile as i play the song in my head-

Sky walks up the stairs with her luggage. She walks to her room. She opens the door. She mumbles to herself. “Oh, It’s already open…My roommate must be here.” She walks in while closing the door behind her. She walks to an empty room. She plops her luggage on her bed then hears music. She follows the music. The music brings her to another room. There is a boy in there. She smiles and waves. “Hey.”

-i smile and stop playing- “hello im Kai i guess your my roommate.”

Emmaline walks up to the school, pushing up her glasses and holding her camera in her hand. “Here goes nothing.” Locating her room, she pushes open the door and plops down on the bed. “I guess my roommate isn’t here yet.” She shoves her luggage in the corner, putting a small typewriter on the desk and turning on her camera, scrolling through old pictures.

Sky gives Kai a goofy wide crooked smile. “I’m Sky, Nice to meet you!” She walks over to Kai and sits next to him. “Your really good at playing the guitar.”

“thank you it was my grandfathers favorite instruments so i learned to play for him before he died.”

Sky smiles. “Thats so nice! I went to art classes to learn how to draw better before my parents died.” She pulls out a piece of paper from the back pocket of her skinny jeans. She unfolds it and it shows a sketch of a girl crying against the wall. ((Â http://www.desipainters.com/dp/04/12503/12503.jpg )) She hands it to Kai and smiles.

Lance walks onto the campus grounds, a backpack on his back and a suitcase in his hands. He had on a black fedora along with his normal apparel. He wanders to the dorms and hears the sounds of conversation from the room next door to the one he was a part of. He opens the door of his room slowly, noting that it was unlocked, “Hello? Anybody home?”

“Right here.” Emmaline jumps off the bed, hanging her camera around her neck. “Hi. I’m Emmaline, and I guess we’re roommates.”

Lance smiles at the person, a little surprised, “Emmaline, a pleasure to meet you! I’m Lance.” He holds out a hand to shake, a little surprised that they let men and women room together.

“Nice to meet you, Lance.” She shakes his hand gently, looking around the room. “Let’s drop the formalities. I have no idea why males and females are roomed together, but we’ll have to figure out some mode of privacy. I study photography and writing. You?”

Lance nods and glances around the room, “I agree with you there. No idea why they did that.” He looks at her and smiles a bit, “I study business and computer sciences.” He sets down his stuff on the other bed, looking around, “It’s a nice room! What’s your schedule like?”

“Ummmm…” She pulls out a folded up paper, reading it’s contents aloud. “1st Period: Language Arts, 2nd Period: P.E, 3rd Period: Math, 4th Period: History, 5th Period: Study Hall, 6th Period: Science. What about yours?” She sits down at the tiny desk, glancing at her camera’s display and typing a few words. Not looking back, she says sheepishly, “Sorry that I just suddenly switched gears. I thought of a bit of a story for a photo, and I wanted to jot it down before I forgot.”
