“Alright.” I wave then I look at the paper and I fold it up placing it in my over shirt pocket. I look at the beach and I come up with a plan so I run over and jump over the railing onto the sand and I start pulling objects together on the beach.

“Oh well I guess I’ll see you guys later then?” I say not really knowing what else to say.

“Oh sure I’ll join, thanks.” I smile and then check my phone again when the notification goes off.

“Well I’ve always loved it so I never stopped playing.” I look at the other girl. “So why are you two out here when class is about to start?”

“I’ve played guitar for 8 year’s. So almost my whole life.” I reach out and shake her hand. “I’m Dakota.”

“So how long have you played? I saw you play in the music room.” I say looking at my phone checking the time.

“Er yeah.” I stretch for a moment then I put my hands in my pocket.

I see two people by a bench so I walk over there. “Hello.”

I walk around the campus searching for something to do. “Wait what day is today?” I pull out my phone to see that it’s thursday and I still have class. “Great I’m going to be late for class…” I move towards the classrooms as I pull out my schedule to see what class I have.

I pour water over the wound again after letting the alcohol sit for 5 seconds. I take the medical bandage and wrap it tight around the wound to keep pressure on it then I clip it so it wont come loose. I look up at the girl. I hand her a fresh water bottle. “Alright it’s over.” Huh close up she seems my age. I thought she was older. Heh shes cute too… No no I can’t let myself get into stuff like this. I ask anyways. “Hey whats your name?”

I switch off the tv and I walk over to the kitchen and wash dishes.

I turn on the tv watching the news.

I pull a chair out of the corner. “Here sit down and I’ll get supplies ready.” I go back to my bag and pull out a water bottle and a bottle of rubbing alcohol with a clean rag. I move next to the girl that is now in the chair. “This will sting.” I pour some water over the wound. Then I put some of the alcohol on the rag and rub her wound.

I hear the gun shot I race back in the direction I saw the girl. As I run I check to make sure I am going in the right direction. I see the girl. “Hey, are you alright?” I say then I see the blood on her face. I open my bag and search for a moment until I get a medical bandage.

I jump for a moment not hearing the random girl yell at me? “Who?” I say turning around.
