Magpie had a very troubled upbringing being the daughter of a murdered acrobat and a drunken former soldier. Her parents are the reason for her skills but also her personality. After the death of her mother she was frequently beaten by her father in a drunken rage every time she was unhappy. This caused permanent damage to her psyche and eyes meaning she can now only see in black and white with just one bizarre and chilling exception. Blood is a bright, vibrant and enticing colour to her. Once old and able enough she ran away from home and became a performer in the hopes of finding her mother’s killer. These days she travels wherever she fancies to show off and find some new thrills.
