After being born the villagers wanted to slaughter here being they thought her to be a monster just like her mother. Her parents were murdered right in front of her when she was only 5 and she had to go on the run in order to live. As she grew to the age of 11 she came across an abandoned hut and stayed there. One day she was gathering herbs and fruits to eat when she was attacked and not being able to defend herself well she almost died. She was saved by a wolf named Kyouga who was hunting with his wife and they took her back with them where she remained and later became their daughter and older sister to their two kids Howan and Horoko.
