Sorry I forgot to put this in. It’s not that important just some facts about the Elysian Fields and Tartarus.

    First off rivers in Tartarus:

Phlegethon or the river of fire. If you were to enter or fall into this river you would never be able to leave it. It is also said that while the fire burned it did not consume anything within its flames. If live mortals were to drink from it it would be like a healing river to them.

Cocytus or the River of Wailing. This river is the river of the dead who had not got a proper burial. This river is also connected to the river Acheron.

Acheron also known as the River of Woe or Pain. This river is sometimes called a lake. This the the river that the ferryman Charon carries the dead from the upper to the lower world. As it borders the world of the living.

Lethe the river of forgetfulness. Upon entering the the Underworld, the dead would have to drink the water of Lethe to forget their earthly existence. Is looked over by the goddess Lethe from whom the river was named after. (People have slipped by without drinking from it)

Styx the river of unbreakable oath, nicknamed the river of hate. Is the largest river of the five as it circles the Underworld seven times. Named after the goddess Styx by whom the most solemn oaths were sworn.

    Elysian Fields:

Not a lot to talk about here. Mainly the Elysian Fields was the place that mortals the gods blessed were sent. The people sent here had done something heroic before they died and that is how they got to be in the Elysian Fields. Here you can be reborn but that is only if you are a true hero (Ex: Hercules/Heracles).

There is also a third world which is the Asphodel Meadows but I didn’t make is a big thing because it is just a place were ordinary mortals were sent after death.

If you have any questions about the Underworld or a comment on it go head and ask or mention it in here.

(Pictures of the five rivers will be added down below. They should be in the order I mentioned them. Except for Styx because of its size)
