((Really new at this so forgive me. School on an island, away from civilization. All students have unnatural abilities. Jump in! ))

Being the heavy sleeper, Ren didn’t budge when the alarm started to ring in his ears. That’s alright, though, because a few seconds after, his own personal alarm came running in.

“Ren! Fuckin’ adventure time! The alarm is ringing!” Taylor pounced on the bed, shaking Ren’s shoulders until he saw raven-haired man opening his eyes.

Ren let out a groan and shoved Taylor off the bed, sitting up slowly. His hair was sticking out all over the place and his eyes were a bit heavy, clearly still half asleep.

“…what?” He yawned, rubbing the back of his neck. “The emergency alarm is ringing! We can actually leave the school!” Taylor was quick to get off the floor. He went to Ren’s closet and started taking out a shirt for him.

Ren watched him for a bit, slowly comprehending the situation. Another yawn escaped his lips as he got up from the bed, wearing nothing but some sweat pants. He didn’t seem so phased about the alarm, knowing that nothing rarely happens in the island. It was probably just a drill. Taylor handed him a sleeveless shirt and jeans in a rush.

“Did you see if Emma and Ryuu were awake?” He asked, lifting his eyebrow. “Ryuu kicked me out of the dorm because I was too loud but he was doing his hair so that’s a yes. I don’t know where Emma is. She probably didn’t come back to the dorm last night. But why does that matter, man?” Taylor grabbed Ren’s wrist and started dragging him out the door. “Jesus fuck, wait, my jeans aren’t not even zipped–” He cut himself off at the last minute, knowing it was no use. Taylor wasn’t even listening. He managed to pull the zipper just in time before turning around the corner where lines of students were heading to the court yard.

A lone girl came walking out of the shadows in the courtyard, her red eyes seeming heavily shadowed from lack of sleep. She was glaring at everyone who looked her way, her silver hair cascading down her back and ending just above the waist. She wore a long jacket, zipped up to the full, even the collar was zipped, which covered the lower half of her face. Peeking out from under her jacket were black pants, and even further bare feet with scars along the sides and top, from what one could see. Her hands were stuck in her pockets, and she was obviously uncomfortable being so close to a crowd, shimmying away from it to stand a few feet away from the outermost person. Her name was primlin, although the school knew her as The Demon Hunter, as she had always used her powers to hunt demons. Many didn’t know what her power was, since she commonly fought with a sword she kept hidden under her coat… As well as several knives hidden along her body that she had on at all times. She was paranoid around other students, from what the rumors said, and if anyone tried to unzip her jacket they would get a kick in the balls or a knife to the neck. She was always serious, and rarely talked, if at all.
She had only joined about a month or two ago, and already had many enemies in the school because of her bad attitude.
