-Leon smiled when she asked if he could speak Italian, he could only speak a little from a trip his class took in college, simple thing were learned, drunk was one he learned there. he seemed more at ease now that this man was getting control of him self. He listened about the family that had been wiped out and instantly got to work asking for random names so he could look into things and why these deaths were never looked into. He began with those of america deciding they would be easier to get access to. He found a lot of red tape on anything that had to do with this family and a crest kept appearing on the screen but he didn’t know what it meant. He decided to use some back door access and turned up five of the ten dead and it showed they had no information like someone had erased there existence. He could not find credit cards, property or birth certificate on any of them. He began to grow irritated that he could not find this like most of the cases he dealt with” looks like im going to have to go old school on this case and actually go to the crime scean because someone high up doesn’t want this out to the public or police departments, I hope you got a way for us to get there in a hurry because i wouldn’t be surprised at this point for your house to be spotless, but i will give you this, I believe you both now”.-

“Nothing wrong with going old school,” Manticore commented, satisfied that at the very least Leon wouldn’t be resisting or casting doubt on everything she said from this point onward. He still might have freak-outs, but she felt fairly confident that she could handle it. In fact, the Arcobaleno found it amusing and almost nostalgic. How long ago had it been since she had first discovered the power of her resolve?

“If your transport truly has been compromised, Mortelupi, then we could always travel via Starbucks,” she said nonchalantly. Normally she would have been reluctant to reveal one of her secrets like this, but the attempted assassination affected them all and according to the detective’s expertise, time was of the essence. The small infant shot the two men an appraising look as something malicious flashed in her eyes accompanied by a slightly sadistic grin. “It will be a tight squeeze, but I’ll make you fit.”

Bell’uomo smirked at the old fashion cracks, Manticore defending it. “You took the words right out of my mouth, Arcobaleno.” He was happy with this, but then the offering of a different transport. He wasn’t using his own transport except for here in the area. He also knew his place had never been cleaned out. He pondered what was going to be so small that they’d have to crush in and shook his head. “I wasn’t using private, Manticore.” He made sure it was clear that he wasn’t going to go into hers just yet. “After and until I returned here, I was using public and one expectantly private piece of machinery that shouldn’t be in the Stati Uniti d’ America,” His voice went dark. “Anyways, I will be walking or we could take my limousine, just don’t touch the wine.” He began to walk out of the apartment, he made it a point to make sure that he wasn’t really trusting anyone but them at the same time he did trust his driver. He went to the elevator and took it down, thinking on what he was doing. He knew his driver could be trusted but he forgot one thing, he sent him to go pick up Sicaro. He sighed and wasn’t about to stop heading down, not caring if they were coming with but knew they would have to follow.

-Leon wasn’t happy with whatever the small child may come up as a means of transportation so he followed his new employer into the elevator and down. He started making phone calls to his boss saying he would be working a private case in D.C and would need time away from his desk which was a common thing. He didn’t solve many of the lower cases just gave his professional opinion in court. He zipped up his jacket and made sure his weapons were loaded before holstering each of them so they would be out of site. He had his shield in his wallet along with his credit cards and information he would need to contact high sources for information he was allowed to see. He spoke up for the limo not ever riding in one himself gave him the feeling of living it up while on this crazy mind trip expecting at any moment to wake up then get carted away from his desk by people in white coats because his mind broke.-

“As long as you’re sure the wine is the only thing tampered with,” Manticore muttered to herself, not particularly wanting to get caught in the blast of a car bomb.

The Arcobaleno accompanied by Carmen then followed the mafia boss into the elevator. She wasn’t going to protest using a hired limousine since she didn’t particularly want to share her own transport. The Mortelupi boss appeared to be in deep thought, and Leon was busy calling his own bosses and explaining their little field trip so Manticore kept quiet in turn and asked Carmen to transform into a phone. She placed a few requests for the footage from the surveillance cameras of the Starbucks the wolf-loving mafia head had made his call from.

If there was any chance of picking up dodgy behavior or some anomaly, she wanted to seize it. Also, it was something to do to ease the awkwardness of the elevator ride. There was nothing (besides Leon or Bell’uomo’s shoulder) for her to stand up on, and the Arcobaleno very noticeably did not appreciate having to crane her neck up just to look at the two men in the eyes. Manticore watched as her mobile device began to download the video files.

Bell’uomo was silent through the elevator ride and slipped his hand into his pocket to lightly press on his phone to give his limousine driver the signal to come back, walking slowly to the outside as he tried to buy time. He wasn’t going to warn them about what was in his home, but he’d assure them once they found out that it was perfectly legal. He could hear the limousine returning, it must not have gotten far or it picked up his precious wolf. As the limo rolled up, he saw the furry face in the window, panting. He opened he door and let the other two in first, “Don’t mind Sicaro, he won’t bite unless I tell him to.” The wolf in the limo seemed to become focused to the point he stopped panting, his eyes were locked on Leon and he let out a light growl. Bell’uomo gave Sicaro a quick look of disapproval and the dog relaxed and went back to panting. “It will only take a short time,” He commented to them as he was sure to enter last. “Seems Sicaro was sent here instead of DC… Those airports here never listen..” He did seem happy to have his dog, though, petting him as they started to go.
