Arthur growled and tugged at the bonds on his hands. No matter what he did, how hard he pulled, all it did was dig deeper into his wrists. “Damn it,” he panted, resting his forehead against the cage bars, warn out from struggling. Everything hurt, from his fingertips to his white wings. The angel tried to remember how he had gotten here, though pushing passed the drug that had been used to get him in the cage was hard. He clenched his eyes shut, barely remembering that he had been sent to Earth to save a child from being hit by a car. It was supposed to be a simple, miracle job, and it was.
