Kyokai Border Realm / Path to the Wheel of Reincarnaton
Kyōkai, a border realm (or dimension), lying between the living world and the spirit world. It’s home for the Shinigami, and other types such of Shirushigami and Damashigami. It’s a place of rest while fullfilling their duties to guide the spirits of the deceased to the Wheel of Reincarnation or wherever their destination may be. Although it’s forbidden for the living to come here, often times there are exceptions.
