Dust.
There is a world we cannot see, a universe parallel to our own. Where witches rule the Northern skies, and Ice bears rage war on the snowy terrains. Where every human is guided by an animal manifestation of their soul–Their Daemon . However, what will happen when these two worlds collide? That of the mundane human world as we know it, and this other foreign world.

You guys can do your own thing, but here’s the basic plot:
This world of Daemons and magic have discovered other worlds, and ways to travel to them. However to do so will need the “Dust” of a child. A dead one. Then one, or many, may gain access to this other world.
You guys can be like scientist adults or Gyptians (Gyptians are traders by boat) who’ve come to free the children who’ve been kidnapped and get swept up in the dust leading to the other world or be the children who’ve been kidnapped by “Dust cutters” who try to severe the tie between you and your Daemon, however fail in doing so to most of you because you escape by a raid from the Gyptians that have come to save you. However as you’ve made it out of the prison you were in the middle of a wasted snowy terrain and may or may not get swept up in the dust to other worlds. Perhaps the Northern winds will sweep you away elsewhere. (Do what you want basically. I’ll clarify this later.)
