About
Its not what it seems it the world of books. It started in 2042 when the first book became real. In a strange little down that isn’t well known there were rumors going around. Rumors that books came to life. It started out with minor books at first. Little kiddy books that didn’t cause any harm so people just ignored it. It’s when the deeper darker books started coming to life that people began to freak out. It’s up to the book lovers to figure out what is going and if can be stopped or if they will have to live like this forever.

Leo walks through a downtown area trying to find anyone he recognizes in this strange new world. As he rounds a corner he gets tackles by one of the towns people, the person holding a knife and was about to stab him.

Instantly after seeing the attack. Amato quickly jumps out from his seat at a coffee shop. Producing a sword from the palm of his hand while midair, he slashed the man attacking Leo with the dull side of his sword, pushing him off. Then, with one knee on the man’s chest, his blade morphs onto a sharper one and he holds it up to the mans neck expressionlessly.

The man’s eyes widen and he drops the knife, “Okay I give up” He holds up his hands in surrender.
Leo slowly gets back and brushing himself off.

Amato’s sword retracts into his hand and he stands up, picking up the knife and stashing it into a corner of his armor. He glances to Leo, quickly evaluating his physical condition to make sure he is uninjured.

Leo was perfectly fine besides a few scrapes.

Amato continues to scan Leo for another second or so. His eyes quickly flash a brighter shade of blue then he approaches Leo, “You are literary, correct?” His voice sounded similarly to a humans save for a subtle almost musical distortion undertone.

Leo blinks, “What?”

Amato tilts his head ever so slightly to the side, “You are unaware?” His pupils dilate and constrict similarly to a camera lens focusing. “Please state your first and last name as well as any other identifying traits.”

Leo blinks again and steps back, “Umm Leo Valdez, friend of Piper McLean, and Jason Grace…”

Amato’s eyes dull for a second, his voice came out more robotic than usual, “Character identified. Heroes of Olympus; Rick Riordan. Profile added to database.” He snapped back to his usual self, “We thank you for your cooperation.” He produces a plain-looking business card with a blue wave pattern at the bottom, written on it was his name, serial number, model and company that owns him. He presents the card to Leo with both hands, bowing deeply as he does.

“Umm, thank you?” Leo says as he slowly takes the card.

Amato nods once, “Do you require further assistance?”

“No, but thano you for helping me.” Leo says and he looks at the ground.

Amato nods, “Feel free to contact either my company or myself if any situation involving literary characters happens to arise.” He bows once again, “Please have a pleasant day.” he says, then turns and begins to walk away.

Leo’s eyes widen, “H-hey wait!” Walks after him.
