Lance looks at the paper in his inner pocket of his vest, “Let’s see here…1st Period: Language Arts, 2nd Period: Computer Science, 3rd Period: History, 4th Period: P.E., 5th Period: Study Hall, 6th Period: Mathematics…Seems like we were put in the same English and study hall.” He smiles and sees her go about her work, getting started on unpacking himself, “It’s fine, I’ll warn you that I might do the same at times… I have a few stocks I’m trying to keep track of.”

“Stocks? You must be a busy person.” She picks up her camera and fiddles with the buttons, turning around to face him. “Would you mind me taking pictures?”

Lance smiles a bit, “I just have a bit of a business knowledge…stocks are surprisingly simple and easy to manage.” Lance looks at her camera, scratching his head, “Sure! I don’t mind a few photos!”

“I wouldn’t be able to catch up or keep up with stocks.” Raising her camera to her eye, she snaps a few photos of various things in the room, including Lance. “I write stories about my photos for fun. It’s simple, and usually turns out pretty cool.” She smiles, letting her camera hand from her neck again and glancing back at her typewriter. “It may not be modern, but we’ve been through a lot together.”

Sky smiles. “Hey, I’m going to go check out the neighbors.” She gets up and walks outside. She knocks on Lance and Emmaline’s door. She waits patiently for someone to answer.

Lance gives a pose of him scratching his chin while glancing intently at the camera with a grin, “If you’d ever want to, I could teach you the basics of it at some point.” He looks over at the camera and typewriter, “It sounds like you have the skills needed for a reporter. Or maybe a spy.” He chuckles a bit, “I assume you’re going to sign up for the news team on campus if we have one?” He hears the door and gets up, “I got it.” He answers it and sees another girl there…he smiles a bit, the girl seeming familiar.

“Who is it?” She glances at the door, picking up her camera in one hand again. “Teacher or something?”

I walk over to my room and open the door looking inside, no roomate. I walk inside and the first thing I do is pull out my guitar and start to play a soft medley with my blue pick.

Sky gasps and jumps on top of Lance while hugging him. “Lance!!! It’s me!! Sky!!”

Lance hugs her as well, chuckling a bit, “Sky! Where have you been, old friend? What brings you here?” He turns to Emmaline, “This is my old friend, Sky. Sky, this is Emmaline. My roommate.”

“Hello!” Emmaline waves with her free hand, smiling and lifting her camera. Snapping a quick onto, she looks at the screen and nods curtly. “The lighting in here is astounding.”

Sky giggles and waves. She jumps down from Lance. “Nice to meet you Emmaline”

Lance smiles a bit, looking at the group of three. He looks around a little as well, “Hey…you guys hear a guitar?”

Sky listens. “Yeahhh..” She claps. “Lets go on an adventure and search for the guitarist!” She marches down the hall.
