Biography

★ Yao Tse-Tung★

I am Yao Tse-Tung. Chairman of the great red China. We take pride in our 5000 year old history, and our glory as a country. I hope we can get along, and you don’t have to meet my iron fist

☭ Info about Yao ☭

I RP Yao a little different then most Yao RPers. I base his history more of the revolutions of China starting from 1911 to the present. He tends to be cold to new people, but once you get to know him and get close to him, he begins to treat you kinder like all Communists like to do. He isn’t evil, he just likes his ideals and prides himself of his country. He has been through a lot during the past and 1900’s. Power struggle was still a problem back then, but now that one system runs China, he will do everything he can to keep order of that system, even if it means going to war with other countries. He is proud that he has the largest army in the world which contains about 3 million Chinese soldiers. Yao is not at all racist. He would be a hypocrite if he was, so do not worry about discrimination with Yao. He will very much talk about politics and power struggle through out the world and how the world should fix things. He believes in care for all people and universal equality. This is why he detests the ways of America. He gets along with some countries, but mostly the most lethal, and dictatorial countries. He enjoys poems and classic music, especially Chinese music. He knows how to play many instruments, and is very intelligent. He can be serious when he wants to, and a little social when he needs to. He likes peaceful quiet breaks by a meadow. He loves tea, since water in China is not very clean, boiling it and making tea is a very good alternative. He loves to eat vegetables and meat. His favorite is duck. He speaks all kinds of Chinese and is very fluent in them. His English is still considered broken, but he could speak to survive in England. He owns a pair of glasses, and rarely uses them. Yao can be.. Very nosy and really wants to know secrets. Yao loves structure, and believes that anyone can make a perfect society if one really tries. He believes that all people should have the right to stand up against cruelty and discrimination, just like the Chinese National Anthem:

★THE MARCH OF THE VOLUNTEERS★
“Arise! All those who don’t want to be slaves!
Let our flesh and blood forge our new Great Wall!
As the Chinese people have arrived at their most perilous
time
Every person is forced to expel his very last cry.
Arise! Arise! Arise!
Our million hearts beating as one,
Brave the enemy’s fire, March on!
Brave the enemy’s fire, March on!
March on! March on! On!”

Overall, Yao is a great guy and would be willing to speak to anyone, so don’t be shy.

★ More on the Events★

The Manchu Period.

After thousands of years, China was divided by kingdoms. After 5000 years of fighting and conquering, the Qing Empire, the people of Manchu, ruled China. Afterwords, they spread farther, claiming inner Mongolia and Tibet, and more. As modern times began to enter, the military of the Qing Empire changed. Until 1911, China had lived in peace.

The 1911 Revolution.

After years and years, kingdoms got old. The world was modernizing. The people of China thought it was best to modernize also. Rebels from all over China sprung up to fight against the Qing Empire that ruled China. They were led by Sun Yat-Sen. By the end of 1911, they claimed China, the Qing Empire surrendered at the Forbidden Kingdom. The New Republic of China had been founded. The Emperor at this time was a very young one, Emperor Pu Yi. He was later forced by the Kuomintang to flee the palace. There he went to stay with the Japanese in a Japanese embassy where they took care of him.

1931, the invasion from Japan.

In 1931, Japan invaded China from the East with great force. They spread until reaching the end of Manchuria, claiming inner Mongolia for Japan.

1932, Manchukuo.

Japan spread further up until the Great wall. With what they occupy, the Japanese needed control over the people of the area. In result, they created the territory a self, independent country of Manchukuo (Country of Manchus). To set up a leader, they put no one other than the last emperor of China, Emperor Pu Yi. The Manchu were glad to have their Emperor back. With their spirits happy, the Japanese did not have to worry about upsetting Manchu people.

1935, The Long March.

During the Japanese occupation, Communists began to rise up in China. The Kuomintang did not like this. They couldn’t just purge all the communists, so as a result, they would focus them into one controlled place. This was called the Long March, because it was very long, and the city was in the center. This is where the great Mao Tse-Tung was able to get supporters to rise up against the Kuomintang.

1937, The Japanese start invading deep into China.

The Japanese wanted to go further than the Manchu empire, and invaded further west of China. With this, the Kuomintang needed help. Most of the Chinese went communist. The conclusion was a temporary alliance between the communists and Kuomintang to defeat the Japanese in China.

1945, The end of WWII.

Japan surrenders due to the atom bomb, and Manchukuo is no more. Though, it is jumbled up between the Russians, Kuomintang, and Chinese communists. The Russians left to avoid anymore trouble, and the Kuomintang and Communists to fight it out.

1946, the rise of the great revival.

War is called upon between the Kuomintang and Communists. They fight for Manchuria, and the rest of China. Thousands of Chinese become Communists and rebels pop from everywhere.

1950, The People’s Republic of China.

After four years of fighting, the Communists claimed East China, and some of West China, big enough for control, and renamed The Republic of China, The People’s Republic of China. The Kuomintang flee to Taiwan, where they continue to be the Republic of China.

1950, The Korean war.

The North Koreans have been fighting, and also have the Americans. The Americans were able to push the North Koreans up to the border, and went beyond, attacking and destroying some of the Manchuria area. Mao Tse-Tung was angered and sent an attack on them from China. Troops came in pouring and pushed the Americans back to the 38th parallel. Cease fire signed.

1958, The Great Leap foreword and famine.

China had to be modernized. As a result, Mao wanted to have a “Great Leap Foreword” and have China collect many scrap metal to produce many weapons and materials. People stopped farming just to collect steel, and concluded with famine. This ends in 1961.

1966, The Cultural Revolution.

As a continuing manor of change, the Cultural Revolution began. The cultural revolution was all about getting rid of the traitors of China. The Red Guard was formed and went off killing high officials that were claimed as capitalists and traitors of China. This madness ended in 1969

1968, the recognition

President Nixon of America recognized China as a country, and a small ally. China then claimed his seat in the UN, and kicked Taiwan out of it.

If you are interested in Chinese history, I suggest you look more into it. You can ask me any questions, I would be happy to answer.

☭Country relationships☭

The following countries will classify how Yao will act with them, either positive or negative. It is in alphabetical order.

America: Yao is quite upset that America had accepted Taiwan as China, and not him until 1968. He brushed that off as he did not want conflicts from him. He gets along with America, but can sometimes get into fights with him due to their diplomatic situation. He and America have each other by the throats. America can easily declare war on China and destroy his country due to the times that China had hacked America and stole secrets from them. Then also, China can tell America to pay up all the past debts that he owes China, and would be in four times the debt he is in now. Over all, they do get along every once in a while.

Belarus: China and Belarus get along well. They both like to become bigger, and join in unions. Their ideals are mostly the same, and are of course, both communist. Yao is fond of Belarus because of her violence, and her well structured military, very similar to his. He will get along with her quite nice.

Canada: Yao detests Canada. He feels that Canada is a pure sign that imperialism does not work. He does not see why Canada separates from influences of France and England, and just form a new culture of Canada. He will speak to him, but will not be too close friends with him.

China: Yao will get along with himself, depending on which China. He will get along with the regular China, as they both have same ideals, and his female self, which he finds very attracting. He is disgusted with his imperial self, and wishes him dead. Twins, do not be afraid to talk!

Cuba: Yao and Cuba have a slightly close relationship. One, they are both communists, and two, Cuba is close to China, which gives Yao a very good range to attack from Cuba. Though, Yao denounced Cuba as he became a competition with him for the Soviet Union. He completely abandon ties with him, being afraid that America might be too suspicious of him.

England: Yao and England have a very unique relationship. They don’t hate each other, or like each other. England has been too involved in Yao’s country. He really does not like it, but will often appease him with actions to keep him calm, such as the giving of Hong Kong.

France: Yao will somewhat get along with France. His styles are not totally Capitalist, so he does not hate him. France is more socialists, and China used to be influenced by Socialist rule. He will have conversation with France, but is still despised with him with Vietnam, and Indochina.

Germany: China misses the old Germany. The old Communist one that is. He despised the WWII Germany, where he was being selective. Germany’s military is still strong, and so is its economy. He also liked Germany’s iron fist laws, and very strict control of Germany. He and Germany will have very awkward talks, but will agree politically.

Greece: Yao is disappointed in Greece. He is lazy, and does not care how to run his country. His economy is horrible, and really needs some work. Yao will just simply say hello to Greece, and speak to him for diplomatic reasons, nothing else.

Hong Kong: Yao does not hate Hong Kong, just a little disappointed that he wasn’t raised correctly like he wanted Hong Kong to be. He had too much influence of Britain, an wishes that he would have been taken care by himself a long time ago.

Hungary: Yao does not hate Hungary, nor like her. He was not really had any chance to meet her, and would like to someday. He thinks that he will find that they have similarities since Hungary has faced Communist struggle in the past.

Italy: Yao appreciates Italy’s nationalism, and his past Fascist government. He also likes him because he is very close to the strict Germany.

Japan: Yao hates Japan. He hates what he did in the past, and believes that Japan should return to his grasp. He wants him to. He wants to show Japan that he can’t just mess with Yao, or push him around. He wants to destroy him.

Korea, North- Yao gets along quite well with North Korea. He believes that he must help North Korea because of their similarities. Although, he is upset on how he runs his country, and thinks that he should need his support, as they both are very close friends.

Korea, South- South Korea somewhat resents Yao, but it wasn’t his fault for the Korean war. America went to far across the border, so China went in and helped North Korea, pushing the South Koreans back. HE will talk to Korea, but is afraid that he might get resented.

Russia- China does not like Russia as much as he used to. Russia thinks Yao is under class, and denounced his former ruler. He separated from Russia and the Soviet Union. They get along, just not like before.

Taiwan: Yao thinks that Taiwan should be part of him, but respects her as a country. He thinks that she has been through too much, and wants to try and be kind to her.

Thailand: Yao is fond of Thailand. Thailand has maintained and fought against the French in their colonization. Yao is very proud that Thailand has adopted ways of China and the similarity of foods. Yao is proud to raise and know someone like Thailand.
