Type: Support/Bard.

“I remember a time when we espers were as free as the birds who loom over the horizon with their flocks. Many of us lived peaceful lives, watching over the nature of our world. The animals, the trees, the waters, every single thing that existed.

Yes, some of us did have qualms. Some of us didn’t quite see eye to eye, and some of us became rogues, choosing not to follow the rules we placed down as law.

Then humans came.

At first, everything was tranquil. And we were curious of them. We lived side-by-side them, harmoniously.

But the humans changed. And we regretted the pacts we made with them when we saw how they waged war against each other and colored nature with blood. And….They too used us for their selfish desires. The worse part? We could not refuse as we had made a pact with them that bound us to them until their deaths parted us from one another.

The wars went on and on; it seemed completely endless. And we killed army after army, empire after empire. And then….We were free; free return to our ways. And so we parted with the humans, some of us growing to hate them with deep-seated hatred, some of us simply weary of their abusing our immense destructive powers.

As for me…My home became the Siren Tower. And it was here I stayed, forever strumming the strings of my harp, singing songs of an ancient past long forgotten. I have not changed, even if the world around me has. Although my faith in humans has dwindled greatly, still….I harvest no ill feelings towards them.”
