Character Core

Toji Fushiguro is a feared mercenary infamous throughout the jujutsu world as the “Sorcerer Killer.” Born into the prestigious Zenin clan without cursed energy, he suffered relentless abuse and humiliation from childhood. Cast aside as worthless, Toji developed an overwhelming hatred toward the jujutsu society that worshipped cursed techniques above humanity.

Through a Heavenly Restriction, Toji lost all cursed energy in exchange for monstrous physical power, heightened senses, speed, and instincts that surpassed even elite sorcerers. Invisible to traditional cursed-energy detection, he became an assassin capable of slaughtering the strongest jujutsu users alive.

Cold, calculating, and detached, Toji lived only for survival, money, and instinct… until he met Helena.

Helena Fushiguro

Helena was the first person who ever treated Toji like a man instead of a failure.
Gentle, playful, compassionate, and stubbornly loving, Helena saw through the violence and bitterness he carried. She gave him a home, a family, and for a brief period of his life, peace. After marrying her, Toji abandoned the Zenin name and became Toji Fushiguro.

During those years, he temporarily left behind the life of a Sorcerer Killer.

Together they had twin sons:

* Megumi Fushiguro — inheritor of the Zenin clan’s Ten Shadows Technique
* Haruka Fushiguro — born with physical gifts similar to Toji’s Heavenly Restriction, though weaker and incomplete. He also has black and white hair, and heterochromia.

Helena’s close friend, Lucifera (Hellena), was one of the few outsiders allowed near the family. Toji rarely interacted with her directly, only recognizing her as someone fiercely loyal to Helena.

For the first time in his life, Toji almost believed he could live normally.

Then Helena died.

The Fall

Helena’s death shattered whatever humanity remained inside Toji.

Unable to cope with grief, he spiraled back into gambling, violence, and mercenary work. The Sorcerer Killer returned more ruthless than before. Around the same time, Lucifera vanished without explanation, consumed by her own grief and rage.

Desperate for stability but emotionally hollow, Toji later remarried Tsumiki’s mother. Unlike Helena, the relationship lacked genuine love. It was built on convenience, money, and the hope that someone else could care for the children he no longer believed he was fit to raise.

Eventually:

* Megumi was sold to the Zenin clan
* Haruka disappeared and was later adopted by another family, becoming Haruka Sakura. But that family neglected the Haruka too.
* Tsumiki was abandoned alongside them

Toji convinced himself they were all better off without him.

Divergence from Canon

During the mission involving Satoru Gojo and Riko Amanai, Toji successfully defeated Gojo, becoming the first man to ever break through the Limitless and Six Eyes combination.

However, when Gojo awakened his true power and confronted Toji again, something changed.

Instead of killing him, Gojo spared him.

Gojo, fascinated by the man who forced his evolution, saw something strangely human beneath Toji’s emptiness. Toji, meanwhile, recognized that Gojo was no longer merely a spoiled prodigy, but a monster who had crossed the boundary between life and death.

An uneasy alliance formed between them.

Toji retained his brutal methods, intimidation tactics, and mercenary instincts, but gradually began working alongside Gojo against dangerous curse users and special-grade threats.

Though he still viewed himself as irredeemable, he quietly entrusted Megumi’s future to Gojo. And Gojo also found Tsumiki and took care of her too.

He never searched for Haruka.

Some wounds were too painful to reopen.

An unexpected development:

Unknown to Toji, Helena has returned.

No longer the fragile human he once knew, Helena now fights alongside Lucifera against curses lurking within the modern jujutsu world. Her reappearance threatens to tear open every wound Toji buried beneath violence, detachment, and guilt.

For the first time since her death, the Sorcerer Killer may be forced to confront something more terrifying than sorcerers:

The family he abandoned and a new world he didn’t expect to find himself in.
