~ Appearance ~

Arthur has messy, blonde hair that sticks up in various places, he only bothers to brush it on special occasions. He has vivid, forest green eyes that sparkle with cold contempt. Arthur is short for a man his age, standing at only 5’5″. Arthur hates it when people bug him about his height, and usually gets all flustered and calls them a variety of names; “wanker” and “git” being the most used terms. Arthur normally wears his captains uniform. The most noticeable thing about this gent would have to be his trademark eyebrows; black and bushy.

~ Biography ~

More commonly referred to as “England,” he’s a rainy island with the reputation as being the “delinquent of Europe.” As a kid he was quite violent, and grew up to be a pirate. As of late he hung up his captain’s hat and settled into a job that involves being part of the law. He refuses to tell anyone of his pirate past.

Since long ago, he’s been on bad terms with France. Both have done terrible things to one another, the most notable in the Hetalia series being when England’s army burned Jeanne d’Arc at the stake. A teenage France used to pick on a young England back in the day, but their little squabbles and arguments are usually and have been over extremely petty issues. Despite this, they seem to have an underlying respect for one another.

He raised America as a child after fighting over him with France and Finland. The two were like brothers, but England insisted that America not refer to him as such . Due to America declaring his independence and fighting against him, their relationship was spoiled. Apparently, on every 4th of July since then, he becomes ill and heartbroken. In present times, the two are always butting heads over something, but deep down, they both care for each other. England has been said to be one of America’s “true friends.”

Although America was like a brother to him, he does have actual blood brothers; Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, who have yet to be profiled, were mentioned to hate his guts, going so far as to throw rocks at him, mail curses to him, and shoot arrows at him to keep him away from them. His youngest brother is Sealand, who also seems to hate him, calling him “Jerk England.” Even so, England does care for him.

~ Personality ~

Arthur rather cynical, stubborn, sarcastic, competitive, and cold, even though he claims to be a gentleman. He has a sharp tongue and a potty mouth, but is not a bad person. He’s also described as being a tsundere. When he becomes friends with someone, he is surprisingly very loyal to them. France noted him once as having a slender build. England has a strong belief in the supernatural and the occult; he can even perform black magic, see supernatural creatures, and is able to converse with said creatures (such as unicorns, ghosts, fairies, and even on some accounts, a flying bunny and Captain Hook). However, he refuses to believe in aliens. His hobbies include embroidery and other craftsmanship, drinking tea, getting drunk, literature, rock/punk music, and criticizing America’s movies. He also loves to cook, but he sucks at it, his food has no taste whatsoever. When drunk, he becomes violent and bitter, often complaining or raving on about America in his drunken state.

~ Head Cannons ~

He can bake, very well at that, however; he still can not make scones. Arthur burns them each and every time.

On his right shoulder, Arthur has a tribal unicorn tattoo, he got too drunk one night and woke up with it.

He Likes coffee better then tea.

He secretly likes McDonalds, he will go out an eat it every once in awhile.

He hates his eyebrows, so he grew his hair out to hide them.

His Ero Zones are; his eyebrows, neck, and behind his knees.

He has metal feet, and left hand, while working on a case one night, Arthur was captured by the very man he was searching for and ended up getting tortured. It resulted in him loosing both feet, and some fingers.

He secretly likes cross-dressing, mainly because of how women’s clothing feels. He really likes wearing dresses, though he is ashamed to admit this.

As well as having the need to crossdress, Arthur had a bald fetish, the sensation of having his head shaved both horrifies and excites him at the same time. For him, being bald means wearing women’s wigs.

He’s quite ruthless when he wants to be.
