“Thanks Gamer, my name is Simon.” I head over to the puddle of metal which was once my robot and pull my wand from it. “That could have been a lot worse. Why don’t we call it a day and see what Melody has planned for dinner?”

“Thank you very much.” I leave Melody’s office, grab my tools and materials from my room, and head to the training room. I then begin to build the combat robot. Once completed, I look over my finished product. It is humaniod in shape with a silver coating, armed with weaponry of your own design. I then turn it on. It takes a fighting stance and we proceed to spare. I start by using a barrage of cryogenic cluster bombs to immobilize it, however the robot sneaks up from behind and launches a volley of net bombs. As I proceed to dodge, the wand that Melody gave me falls out of my pocket. The robot notices the item, grabs it, and proceeds to integrate it into its software. The robot then starts to act erratic. I then proceed to call Melody. “It’s Simon, you have to come down here. The robot just took my wand and integrated it into its software.”

I sit down in the chair. “I was wondering if it were possible for you to create a safe environment for me to build and test this.” I show Melody the blueprints.

Amazed at the spectacle I just witnessed, I look at my wand and mutter ” Always something new to learn I guess.” I proceed to my room with my backpack in tow. I enter my room and observe my surroundings. “I have a feeling I’m going to like it here.” I head over the desk and begin to empty the contents of my backpack. In it are my bomb kits, a few medical plants kept in atrium spheres I designed, my toolkit, and some scrap material to mess with. I ponder the idea of summoning a workbench, but reconsider due to the size of my room. I sigh not knowing when training will start nor when other students will arrive. Then I get an idea. I pull some blueprints out of one of my bomb kits and get excited. The blueprints contain a new combat robot I designed to help with personal training. I want to get started right away, yet I reconsider thinking about what happened when my last robot went on the fritz. It had demolished an entire block of the town I previously lived in before I was able to destroy it with an electroshock bomb. Thinking about this you head to Melody’s office and knock on the door, hoping she could conjure a safe environment for your experiment.

    Name: Simon
    Age:17
    Height: 6ft
    Weight:150 pounds
Appearance: Green hair, hazel eyes, eye patch with bomb cartoon on it over right eye, normal build.
Traits/info: Simon’s past is shrouded in mystery. The first things he can truly remember are waking up three years ago in a pile of rumble with a cut across his right eye. Other than that he can only vaguely recall that his family were specialized weapons experts and that he can recall every bit of his training with them. As such, Simon is a master weapons crafter and well suited for combat. His preferred weapons are miniaturized bombs that he carries on him at all times. These bombs come in multiple different variants and types which allows him to switch up his style in mid combat. He also keeps multiple throwing knives and two custom hand crossbows with specialized ammo on hand as well. Has also trained himself to make improvised weapons when unarmed and to create medicines and poisons with many different types of plants. Even though he has been through a lot, he is a kind hearted person, quick to trust and easy to get along with. He is a nerd at heart and will often create weapons from his favorite fandoms as a hobby. He has a huge sweet tooth and a quick temper if anyone where to hurt his friends.

It’s cool. Just message it to me through my email or skyrie account and I’ll develop the stats for it.

I have an idea for my game. What if instead of a serious approach, I make a parody of all storylines from Tron to SAO. I would still need some help with designing the stats since I’m used to creating very stat heavy games and would not know what to a more role playing type game.
Terezi: How is your game coming along?

    Yours: That’s understandable.
Mine: I might need a bit of help balancing out the system.

Mine: It’s not so much as sword art online as more of a virtual create your own paradise sort of deal. It does however take ideas from SAO, the Pendragon series volvox, and the online interface of accel world. The game is the alpha right now so I don’t know if it would be more combat rpg based or role playing discovery with minor combat.
Yours: I have an idea for the magic and tech dilemma. You could have it be that the humans brought about their own undoing by using fire magic to heat the Earth so the ice ages didn’t happen. After the lizards rose to power, any form of elemental magic was made taboo so as to not give the humans an advantage over them. Since then, the only forms of legal magic are enchanting, seer, conjuration, restoration, and alchemy. Do to the advancement of these types of constructive magic, the lizards were able to advance their technology so that weapons and electronic devices could rely on magic, alchemy and restoration increased healthcare, and seers and conjurers used their powers to avoid any supernatural accidents.

I like it. I’ll think of some more details for it today. Do you want it to be a more role playing oriented story where everyone works together or kind of a battle for resources sort of thing such as players aligning with a faction and faces off against other players for food, tech, and heat? And were you thinking magic, futuristic tech, or a mix?

While I’m at it I might as well include my own idea.

    Setting: Virtual world

Summary: The year is 5K and humanity wishes to escape from reality. They immerse themselves in a virtual world of fun, fantasy, and pleasure. You are one of those people, desperately trying to find meaning in your life. Yet this manufactured world of lies has many secrets. Will you be the one to find them?
The game can take multiple turns and lead to some fun bits of combat and humor.
