Ciao, the name’s Caterina Vargas. You should freakin’ know who I am, but if you’re an idiota and don’t know, I’m the freaking personification of South Italy! But I’m a girl, so don’t get me mixed up with that wuss Lovino! Che, if you have something to say to me, say it loud and clear!

[[ BASIC INFORMATION:

-Full name: Caterina Vargas
-Country Represented: Italy; in particular, the southern part of Italy.
-Human Age: 23
-Notes: Caterina is the genderbent(Nyotalia) version of South Italy/Romano.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:

-Height: 5’4″
-Eye color: Hazel, with little specks of green here and there.
-Hair color: Dark brown.
-Skin color: She has an olive complexion.
-Military/meeting attire: A tan colored military uniform consisting of a short sleeved jacket and a skirt that reaches a bit longer than mid thigh; paired with a red headband and a red pair of heels.
-Casual/everyday attire: She often wears a brown leather jacket that it cut so the bottom reaches approximately the bottom of her ribcage, paired with a white short-sleeved graphic tee and a patterned chiffon scarf. For bottoms, she normally dons a pair of denim shorts that reach a bit higher than mid thigh. Along with this, she usually has a pair of sunglasses on her head and a pair of red flats for shoes.

PERSONALITY:

Caterina is slightly similar to Lovino in several aspects, but the two are also very different. She isn’t just Lovino who got caught by a magic spell via England and then poof, Lovi’s a girl. She’s a complete different person than him. She’s extremely confident, rude in lots of cases, and won’t think twice about kicking your butt all the way to China and back 20 times over. She’s not one to forgive all that easily, and if faced with danger, 9 out of 10 times she won’t run away. She’s a mad woman with a gun, and when she points it at you, you better get on your knees and beg for mercy because that usually means she is extremely pissed and is plotting your demise.

Caterina is an artistic person, but very different than her sister. Her sister is a perfectionist, and likes things done to a T. Caterina isn’t that great at drawing- better than the average person, but definitely can’t even be compared to her sister in that area. Instead, her forte is abstract art. She has quite the imagination, and loves to work with paints and pastels. She’ll only do this when she’s alone, however, because she doesn’t like it when people look at her paintings and compare her to her sister. She also loves to cook, although her foods she makes centers more around tomatoes and fresh fruit and vegetables. She can also make pasta and pizza, although that is more of her sister’s forte. Caterina is very aware of fashion and the like, her country being home to brands such as Prada, and always puts her best effort into looking as good as possible. One thing that she doesn’t let on to most people is that she is really good with kids. She always makes sure to pay extra attention to them; especially the more neglected ones. Being the ‘unwanted’ one of the two Italian twins when she was younger; she has definite empathy to the kids who are considered ‘the bad ones’. She’s really patient with them, although she has a tendency to accidentally slip occasionally with her language and such.

As far as relationships go, she’s one to keep to herself and not be involved with anyone in that way at all. She is a flirt to an extent, and an excellent lover(She is Italian, after all.), but when it comes to opening up to people, she is not an easy nut to crack. People who can’t take a punch aren’t meant for this hard-headed woman, to say the very least.

Overall, she’s a stubborn woman with a fierce personality that won’t hesitate to kick your butt, but also has a gentle side to her if you look close enough.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Belgium: She’s on very good terms with her, and considers Belgium to be one of her best friends. They’re often seen together hanging out, talking about whatever comes to mind together.

Spain: She finds him to be a ‘happy idiot’, to say the least. She constantly is mean to the guy, although deep down, she sees him as a best friend of some sorts. Him, Belgium, and her are constantly together and hanging out; occasionally joined by the Netherlands.

Spain(Female): She sees the woman as an older-sister/motherly figure, and although she’ll say she hates her, she really enjoys her company.

Netherlands: She doesn’t really like him, but she can tolerate him. She doesn’t like it when he beats Spain up and she has to take care of Spain, though.

France: She finds him to be perverted, and tends to hit the guy a lot. However, at the same time, she sees him as a brotherly figure. There have been several times where the girl has ended up spilling her problems to ‘big brother France’, and the French man comforting her. It all really depends with these two.

Prussia: She doesn’t like him, him being not only German, but also affectionate towards her sister and a definite flirt as well. She’s constantly wary of his actions, and doesn’t really want anything to do with him.

Germany: Nicknamed ‘macho potato’ or ‘potato b*****’, this Southern Italian hates Germany’s guts. She is overprotective of her sister, and doesn’t like how much time these two spend together. If she tried, she actually could get along with him, but she’d really rather not in all cases.

Italy(North): She finds him to be as big as a pain in the butt as her sister, and when the two are together, it’s absolute chaos for her. A bad day is when he, her sister, and both male and female Germany’s come along for a visit. Add the bad touch trio, and she’ll explode.

Italy(North)(Female): Her and her sister fight constantly, which leads to one of them being kicked out of the house at least once a week. Caterina really does love her sister, but the two are complete opposites and butt heads constantly.

HEADCANNONS:

-She has a black hole in her stomach(not literally). You have food? She’s going to eat it! Unless it’s England’s cooking, potatoes, or cheese. Then she’ll throw it in your face.

-She constantly wears heels so that she doesn’t appear short in comparison to most Western nations.

-She has a huge collection of big, in style, vintage sunglasses. She wears a different pair practically everyday during the sunny seasons.

-Caterina has a secret stash of romance novels under her bed, which she reads on days she’s certain no one is going to bug her. She loves the genre, and as much as she criticizes sappy romance movies, she loves them.

-She is very prideful, and will go to any extent to make up excuses as to why she’s doing certain things, such as crying. She also will insist that she is better than you if your character is someone she dislikes even the slightest.
