Basics:
Johnny “Joe Kid” Joestar was born in a family of former aristocrats in Danville, Kentucky – his father then a wealthy owner of several farms and an acclaimed horse trainer who had won the Triple Crown seven times. He was successful enough for the family to live comfortably in England for several years. Jonathan’s father George always favored his older brother when it came to racing and because of this Johnny had a resentment towards his father.

A former horse-racing prodidy turned paraplegic. He seeks the secret of Gyro Zeppeli’s Steel Balls which reportadly are the only thing capable of healing his legs. But will he find another means during his search?
He normally wears a knit cap printed with many small five-pointed stars.
Before his races begin, he is seen using a wheelchair but once he’s on his horse, Slow Dancer he’s a capable as any other jockey.

His personality can be somewhat depressive mainly because he clings to the hope of regaining use of his legs. Johnny will normally endure severe wounds in pursuit of his goals.

Johnny idolised his older brother Nicholas but when he died, falling from a horse which was seemingly startled by Danny, Johnny became guilt-ridden, believing that his brother’s death was his own fault and that he should have died instead.

He portrays himself as conceited and cold but it’s a way to hid his sadness and lack of confidence.

His mentor and inspiration Gyro Zeppeli was the only one who seemed to give him hope until Gyro died.

Johnny is a bitter person due to his lack of success in saving himself or his wife from the misfortune that befell them.

He’s Jonathan’s versions of another timeline. But when Johnny arrives in the new world he becomes one of Jonathan Joestar’s descendant.
