Apollo looked again at the gunship. “Second thoughts, see if you can take out the OGA gunship.”
-
Apollo waited for a minute, then saw the entry of another gunship in the atmosphere. “It’s the OGA. Hopefully not Midzog. Pandora, if anyone major shows up, be prepared to split. Just get to the gunship and do what you can to shoot at them. The safety of the cockpit cannot be pierced by much. If it’s Midzog, we all get out of here. The OGA is dangerous.”
-
Apollo looked over at the gunship. “What if the OGA is tracking us? This planet is huge but, they have the technology to find us.”
-
Apollo, who was standing next to Pandora, decided to speak. “Beautiful, isn’t it?” Apollo then looked at the tent and quickly looked up into space, at the station. “I wonder what the OGA is doing right now, dealing with the acid.”
-
Apollo laughed again as Frontback Skerlete III sprinted away into the trees. “Ok, well, the sun’s rising in about 2 hours. I’m going to get some sleep, then I’ll be set for the next two weeks.”
-
Apollo snickered. “The bird is real…”
-
Apollo pointed to the structure outside made of trees and hardened lava. “Yeah, that thing. Easy to shoot fire from the top of. Also, that thing over there-” Apollo drew Pandora’s attention to the 9 foot tall bird, which looked like an emu that ran into an Ascendii flying at full speed. “That’s Sir Edward Frontback Skerlete III, or at least what his nametag says.”
-
[This is one Ascendii you can count on!] “So, ready to take your watching post? If anything happens just wake me up. I got so bored halfway in I made a little fort.”
-
3:00 AM…Apollo walks back into the tent and thinks about waking Pandora for about an hour. “Hey, Pandora…are you still tired?”
-
Apollo nodded and headed back to camp. “Pandora, it’s getting late. We should get some rest. We’ll give you the bed, I’ll take first watch. Odysseus! You should sleep as well.” Apollo stood outside with a giant spear made from hardened lava he found on the ground.
-
Apollo came back with the bucket and poured it into a hole in the ground. “Night-time temperatures drop to 200 below 0. Odysseus, care to help us set this up?”
-
Apollo simply pointed to the cargo hold. “Whatever’s in there and whatever you want to use, I guess. Mind staying here alone for about five minutes? I need to get a bucket of lava for the fire. Trees that way.” Apollo walked down to the lava-filled ocean and filled a lead bucket with lava.
-
Apollo looked out in the planet’s surface as well. “We’re stuck here for a bit. Let’s set up camp for the night.” Apollo dragged out a tent and began putting it up, careful not to burn it with lava.
-
Apollo turned on the thrusters. “Alright we’re going to the planet!” Apollo headed the ship to Yesthermn-3 at one of the soft spots without much lava.
-
Apollo looked dully at Pandora. “What about the other 35%?”
