Apollo jumped up from the seat. “Milk run! Be right back!” Apollo got onto a starfighter and zipped out of the vicinity.

“Midzog has the eye power of an Ascendii. He can see the whites of your eyes from 20 minutes away, then confidently say that you are behind the horizon, because you are.”

Apollo slapped on the OGA mission suit. “Awesome! This thing is just as heavy as Jack’s mood on a Monday  morning!” Apollo looked at Odysseus worriedly. “Midzog can tell Harvin from me. Harvin has something I don’t have.”

Apollo began to shudder. “Yes…Rose…I’ve been trying to get over it…just not possible…”

Apollo looked at Rose, confused. “It’s a word invented by humans, but Ascendii use it widely as ‘bolting out the door accompanied by crying or yelling.'”

Apollo smiled happily. “Congratulations! You can do it! Wait till Andaluza sees!”

Apollo looked at the cannonball intently. “Ok, so you shouldn’t even try to stop. The two causes for this is either that you’re very weak at fire manipulation, which I know you’re not, or that you’re trying to stop. You just have to act like you’re shooting a missile out of your eyes. Here, watch this.” Apollo looked at the cannonball as his eyes turned white, then a red haze. There was a flash of white light and the cannonball lay on the ground, shattered, in pieces. “Your turn…” Apollo said as if he had just walked on a wire at neck-length. ‘That felt horrible, I’m never doing that again.’

Apollo looked at Rose’s eyes. “Good, they should feel heating up. Once they heat up to a red haze, you should just expel it. Try shooting at the cannon ball first.”

Apollo sighed. “Fine. Let’s go to the fencing room.” Apollo led Rose down to the fencing room and released two levitating cannonballs from the compartments. “They won’t hit you, but you have to kind of look inside of them, then concentrate your fire through your eyes. Careful! Don’t concentrate out of your eyes, but inside the cannonball. If you concentrate out of your eyes, you’ll get a really horrible version of heat vision and blindness for about 5 minutes.”

Apollo slowly laughed. “Either by asking Andaluza, or watching him do it for over 10 years.”

Apollo decided to go wake him up, but decided it would be better to let him sleep. “Oh, well, it’s really easy to learn.” Apollo looked kind of worried, because the power rush given by the ability would be grounds for destruction of everything.

Apollo acknowledged Rose’s not tiredness. “Hey, did Andaluza teach you how to generate explosions with your eyeballs?”

Apollo shrugged. “It’s a good place to catch a nap.”
