Apollo took out a piece of leather, the same as Pandora’s old sheath, and took the hexyullyn sword. He then chopped the leather in half. “That’s self explanatory. Use your respective sheaths.”

Apollo laughed. “Works for carbon based life. It will make us bleed more, just not that bad.”

Apollo lifted the sharp purple-black sword. “Hexyullyn. Makes blood flow better. I engineered it into a sword so it makes people more prone to bleeding.”

Apollo chuckled and poked Andaluza in the chest. “Of course it’s made of cobalt. Look who you’re talking to! Why would you not want to be amped up?”

Apollo began measuring Andaluza and Pandora immediately. “Hmm, they do work.” Apollo then took out a carbonic seal, colored metallic blue, and slapped it on his own, Pandora’s, and Andaluza operations suit. “It’s the logo we have to wear to signify we’re The Keepers and not The OGA. We’re just getting started, OGA, and we’re not going to be finished.”

Apollo hit the button and ran inside his pod, equipping everyone ready for it.

Apollo hits the countdown button for 30 seconds. “Ok everyone get in a pod. I just changed the structure of the operations suit to fit you more snug. Andaluza, I increased the area around the chest and arms for you to fit your muscularity and Pandora I…uh…gave it a new sheath as well as an hexyullyn sword.

Apollo puts Pandora’s feather in her hair. “I have my own feathers to use. They’ll grow back.”
Apollo followed Andaluza. “Good idea. And not only your faces will explode but they might melt off. I know some of you drool while you sleep, and one of the illegal abilities is acid saliva.”

Apollo put his hand on Pandora’s sword blade, cooling it down, then using the energy from that to scorch Andaluza’s butt once. “Ok, I get it. Let’s just be happy that Pandora learned something new. Unfortunately she used that to burn my pencil. Now I’m going to have to write with my feathers.”

Apollo rolled his eyes. “What Andaluza is trying to say is that you’re basically an Ascended ballerina.”

Apollo flipped to the last few tabs. “It says here that the four categories of Ascendii skill are as follows. Strength/Raw Power, Agility/Combat Skill, Speed/Vigilance, and Intellect/Strategy. Even though these seem like categories, they are actually what Ascendii have been OBSERVED to use dominantly?! This part wasn’t written by an Ascendii!” Apollo flipped a few tabs forward. “What?! It says that Ascendii of different skill types work excellently together, while those of similar types tend to be inefficient.” Apollo’s eyes flashed silver as he thought of Katherine. “Katherine’s smart. She doesn’t rely on her physical abilities to take down an opponent. Instead, she finds weaknesses and matches their patterns. Andaluza, you’re completely right about that. You’re muscular so that pairs with strength, Pandora has a sword which pairs with agility and Katherine has tarot cards. We have to find her and show her this book. Don’t use any illegal abilities outside of this room unless we all agree you should. I don’t want to read a news report on Andaluza blowing someone into space or Pandora cut a guy perfectly in half.”

Apollo disengaged it and read the page again. “Oh, it says you have to use two things at once. That’s not easy.” Apollo tried it again, this time doing electrokinesis at the same time. “Oh, doing this you can actually see things.” Apollo tried to walk towards Pandora and show her how to do it, but forgot to deactivate it and tripped on a bar on the ground. “Well…I see how stupid Andaluza looks when he does it.”

Apollo tried it and saw the outlines of people and the lights as blood red. “No, that’s not right.”

Apollo looked at the book. “Oh come on Andaluza, Pandora is perfectly competent in offensive and defensive abilities.” Apollo grabbed the book and flipped to the Passive page in the Legal section. “This looks interesting, we should all give it a try. I’ve never done it.”
